KS Crew Challenge #17 -- Back To School

Hello everyone~
It's the first Monday of the month and another Kitchen Sink Monday....that means we have a new KS Crew challenge (KSCC#17)!
I'm the challenge hostess and I have challenged you to use a school item(s) into your card/project. You can also alter the item for the challege, too! Simple enough? It doesn't have to be school theme but I will give you an apple point for the project that is related to the theme :):)
To enter your challenge project, please go to KS Crew Challenge Blog and leave your name and the link of the project to Mr. Linky on the bottom of the challenge post. The participants of the challenge will be picked by a random number generator and everyone will have a chance to win a brand new release set, will be available on Sep 25th!! The deadline for the challenge is on Friday, Sep 25th.

I borrowed the plastic pen case from my son (yes, I promised him to give back...:P) and decorated the inside & the outside with 3 Step School Days & 3 Step Letters from the Past. I stamped "ABC" & "123"on the index card repeatedly to create the background. I also made the matching note card to insert into the pen case. A note from Mommy... I know kids will love it :):) <-- well, most of them, lol.

The image was stamped with these step:

(apple) 1st - barely banana, 2nd - real red (stamping off), 3rd - real red, 4th - cranberry crisp
(pen) 1st - baja breeze (stamping off), 2nd - baja breeze, 3rd - not quite navy
(ruler) 1st - creamy caramel (stamping off), 2nd - creamy caramel, 3rd - not quite navy

Stamps: School Days, Letters from the Past (KSS)
Paper: real red, not quite navy (SU), classic white (Flourishes), index cards
Ink: barely banana, real red, cranberry crisp, not quite navy, creamy caramel, baja breeze (SU), Fluid Chalk chestnut roan (Clearsnap)
Accessories: ribbons, buttons (PTI), ric rac

Tools: Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
