Rustic Daisy

SCS Color Combination challenge 186 is Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze. What a pretty combo!!

This is the first time I used Upsy Daisy stamp set and I really like them with the colors.
I stamped the daisy image with really rust & chocolate chip Stampin' markers and then colored with VarsaMark pen. And I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder.
I added the colors with the brayer for the background of the daisy. The sentiment is also heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I got the ribbon when I was in Japanese yen shop, like $1 stores in US. I really miss the store :(

ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１８６は, really rust, chocolate chip & baja breeza (新色）です。とっても綺麗なコンビネーションです！コンビネーションのカラーは、全てStampin' Up! の色を使っていますが、似たような色を使ってチャレンジしても大丈夫。もし、機会があったら挑戦してみて下さい。

Upsy Daisyのスタンプセットを、今回始めて使いました。この色とこのセットの組み合わせもなかなか素敵です。
初めに、デイジーを、really rustとchocolate chipのマーカーで色を付けて捺し、ヴァーサマークペンで、その上を塗り、クリアエンボスパウダーを使ってヒートエンボスしました。ブレイヤーを使って、デイジーのバックに色を付けています。言葉も、エンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスし、同じ方法で、バックに色を付けました。

このリボンは、１００円ショップで購入しました。あ～、１００円ショップが恋しい～！

Autumn and Holiday Cards

Hello everyone~
Looks like the summer is over here in Texas, too (finally!!) My stampin mood is also sifted to summer cards to autumn & winter cards. This is a good thing because I need to start make more holiday cards, lol! I have 2 cards to show you this time.

ここテキサスも、夏が終わろうとしています(やっと!!）。私のスタンプモードも、夏のカードから秋、冬のカードへ変わってきました。ホリデーカードを早く作り始めないといけないので、それはそれでよい事なんですが(笑）今回は、２枚のカードを載せておきます。

FS86 -- Autumn

This is the card I made for SCS Featured Stamper 86. The featured stamper is Terry (Terrore3). I chose to case this card from her beautiful gallery.

I changed the colors, stamp set and embellishments. The color combo was cased from the one of Silke (sparklegirl)'s cards. Thank you, Silke for the inspiration. You are awesome!!
The maple leaf was stamped with rock 'n roll technique. I added the glossy accents for the dimension. It took forever to dry but I was patient enough somehow (usually not!). I attched the striped ribbon over the 2 stitcked ribbons to give more dimention. I really how it turned out.
The embossing folder adds such a elegant look for the card, don't you think?

これは、ＳＣＳのフィーチャースタンパー８６で作ったカードです。今回のフィーチャースタンパーは、Terry (Terrore3)さんです。彼女の素敵なギャラリーの中から、このカードをケースしました。

色、使用したスタンプ、エンベリッシュメントを変えてあります。色の組み合わせは、Silke(sparklegirl)さんのカードを参考にしました。Silkeさんは、色んなインスピレーションを与えてくれるすごいスタンパーさんです！もみじの葉は、ロックンロールのテクニックを使って捺し、グロッシーアクセントを付け、立体的にさせています。これが、乾くのにすごく時間がかかりました。でも、今回は我慢強く待ちました。(普段は、違います。。。）ストライプのリボンは、２本のステッチリボンの上に付け、立体的にさせました。
エンボスフォールダーを使った事によって、このカードがもっと豪華な感じに仕上がったと思います。

TLC188 -- Batik Holiday Card

This holiday card was used Batik technique. SCS Technique Lover's challenge 188 is "Batik-the colorwash way". I was supposed use the misterswith the deluted inks for adding the colors but unfortunately I didin't have any misters available at that time. So I used the sponges in place of the misters.

I used Baroque Motifs for the batik technique with handsome hunter and riding hood red reinkers. I used the sponges to put the colors on the watercolor paper. When you look at SCS TLC188 gallery, you can see the difference of the color blending with using the misters and sponges. When I get the misters, I definitely try this technique again!

After the tree image was stamped, I added the liquid applique, Stickles and dots with red gel pen on the tree.

このホリデーカードは、バティック(ろうけつ染め）テクニックを使っています。ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１８８では、バティックテクニックにインカーを薄めた液を霧吹きに入れ、スプレーをして色を付ける方法をチャレンジするはずですが、残念な事に霧吹きを切らしていました。なので、色を付ける為に、霧吹きの代わりにスポンジを使っています。

スワールのスタンプをクリアエンボスパウダーで、ヒートエンボスし、濃い緑色と赤のインカーを薄めた液を、スポンジに沁み込ませ、水彩紙に色を付けました。ＳＣＳ、ＴＬＣ１８８のギャラリーを見ると、霧吹きで色を付けた方法と、スポンジを使って色を付ける方法の結果が、明らかに違うのがわかると思います。霧吹きを購入した際は、またこのテクニックを使って何か作ってみたいです。

木は、スタンプを捺した後、リキッドアップリケとSticklesを付け、Sticklesが乾いた後、赤のジェルペンで、点々を付けました。

Spooky Silhouettes -- There She Goes

Aren't these cute images?!
They are the new stamp set "Spooky Silhouettes" from There She Goes! As you know, it's Halloween theme and all the images are silhouettes -- Very cool with black inks!!
The set are going to available on OCT 1st at There She Goes website.

There She Goesの新しいスタンプセット、「Spooky Silhouettes」です。見ての通り、ハロウィーンをテーマにしたスタンプで、イメージ全てがシルエットスタンプになっています。黒のインクを一緒に使うとカッコいい感じに仕上がります!!
このセットは、There She Goesのサイトで、１０月１日に発売です。



I also made this card for Our Creative Corner challenge. The challenge is "Stitching but NO WHITE stitching"
If I can't use white, black sounds good :)
I got the idea of the layout from the T-shirt I had. All images were stamped on the yellow cardstock and attached the gray circle window panel on it. I sewed around the panels and added the brads. After it was attached to the card base, I looped the ribbon for the finish.

このカードでは、Our Creative Cornerチャレンジもしています。今回のチャレンジは、「白以外のステッチをする｣です。
白が駄目なら、黒でということで、黒の糸を使いました。
このレイアウトのアイディアは、自前のＴシャツからヒントを得ています。全てのイメージを黄色のカードストックに捺し、円をくり抜いた灰色のパネルをその上に貼りました。パネルの周りをミシン縫いし、ブラッドを止めてあります。カードベースに貼り付けた後、最後にリボンを付けました。

I decorated the inside of the card, too.
カードの中も手を加えています。




I think the card was not as fun as without the free hand sewing stitices.
フリーハンドのミシン縫いで、カードがもっと楽しい雰囲気になったと思います。

It's getting cool here in Texas in mornings. I love the time you don't have to use A/C.


This is the card I made last weekend. I combined 2 challenges - SCS Inspiration challenge 147 & Beate's Weekend Sketch challenge #59.
The inspiration is from Domino Paint Palettes. I chose the purple girl's bed room(room 46). I took the inspiration from the color combination of light purple and red (more like red purple).

The image of the angel is from Whiff of Joy Stamps. I colored it with Copic marker and added Stickles for dazzling.
The angel panel was a little too big for the normal card size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") so I had to expand the size to 6 1/2" x 5".

月曜日になりました。ここテキサスも、朝は冷えてきました。クーラーをつけなくてもいい気温が嬉しいです。

このカードは、週末に作ったもので、２つのチャレンジ-　ＳＣＳインスピレーションチャレンジ１４７とＢｅａｔｅさんのウィークエンドスケッチチャレンジ＃５９を組み合わせています。
今回のインスピレーションは、Domino's Paint Palettesで、私は、紫色の女の子のベッドルーム(ルーム４６）をインスピレーションに使いました。この部屋の薄紫と赤（赤紫っぽいかな）を用いて、カードを作っています。

エンジェルのイメージはWhiff of Joy Stampsのスタンプです。コピックマーカーで色を付け、Ｓｔｉｃｋｌｅｓを付けてキラキラ感を出しました。
エンジェルのパネルが、普通のカードサイズ（4 1/4" x 5 1/2")にするには大きすぎたので、カードのサイズを6 1/2" x 5"にしました。






BTW, I didn't make the Whiff of Joy guest DT. It's OK. There is always another chance. I still love their stamps and continue to using them :) I can't wait the new stamps that are going to be available this Thursday!

Whiff of Joy DT call

Hello everyone~
I made this card for 2 reason --

1. Whiff of Joy is looking for a guest designer for the next two month with the fabulous talented DTs. What a fantastic opportunity to work with them!! I plunged myself and entered this card.
Here is the detail about the DT call.

This is the sketch I used for the card and of course, it's the one of Katharina (Whiff of Joy store owner)'s fabulous sketches.



2. I also made this card for SCS Limited Supplies challenge 187 - Holly Jolly Critters. The challenge is to use animal motifs and make Christmas project. My favorite animal images are the ones from House Mouse. The mice are stinkn' cute!! I bet you can't help but smiling, too :)

このカードは、２つの理由で今回作りました。

１．Whiff of Joyというスタンプカンパニーが、２ヶ月限定のゲストデザイナーを募集していたので、このカードを送る事にしました。他のデザインチームと共に、２ヶ月一緒にやっていく事が出来る最高のチャンス!それに、スタンプも私好みのスタンプばかりで、駄目で元々、でも宝くじも買わなきゃ当たらないという同じ気持ちで送りました。
こちらが、デザインチーム募集の詳細です。スケッチは、お店のオーナーKatharinaさんの素敵なスケッチの数々の中から、こちらを選びました(上のスケッチです）。

２．SCSのリミットサプライチャレンジ１８７。今回は、動物を使ってクリスマスプロジェクトを作るです。
動物で大好きなイメージと言えば、HouseMouseのスタンプ。この可愛いねずみちゃん達、皆さんも思わず微笑んでしまうと思います(笑）



The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I cut out the oval shape with Nestabilities and colored the background with the blue ink and the watercolor brush. I also put frosted lace Stickles for the snow on the ground. After the Stickles and ink were completely dried, I mounted the colored mice on it.

ねずみちゃん達のイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンを使って、色を塗りました。オーバルの形に切って、インクと水彩筆を使って、バックグランドを塗り、Ｓｔｉｃｋｌｅｓのfrosted laceを、地面の雪に使っています。Sticklesとインクが完全に乾いた後、色を付けたねずみちゃん達を貼り付けました。

Lady Bug Love

Hello everyone~
SCS Way to Use It challenge 185 is to use "CHARMS"
I had to think when was the last time I used charms on my project .....The answer was too long time ago to remember! I found the lady bug charm in my embellishment drawer and decided to make a card with Little Lady stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

My original plan was to use the circle panel on the center of the card instead of the heart panel. But when I decided to use the sentiment, I also changed my plan. I think the heart is better for the card......What do you think?

SCSのWay to Use It チャレンジ１８５は、｢チャームを使う｣でした。
私の作品でチャームを最後に使ったのは、何時だったか考えてみましたが、昔すぎて覚えていません(笑）エンベリッシュメントの引き出しに、てんとう虫のチャームがあったので、Papertrey InkのLittle Ladｙスタンプセットも一緒に使ってカードを作る事にしました。

元々のプランは、カードの中心に、ハートのパネルではなく、サークルのパネルを使う予定でした。でも、この言葉を使おうと決めた時に、元のプランも変更する事に。このカードには、ハートのパネルの方が合っていると思いますが、皆さんはどう思いますか?

Halloween Knight

Halloween is around the corner... I can't believe the time goes so fast!!
I made this card for SCS Sketch challenge 195.

I thought the knight image from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps would be so cute for Halloween project but We can't do Trick or Treats without the candy basket, right? So I added the candy basket from Inky Antics. I think they went great together.
All of the images were colored with Copic makers.

このカードは、ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ１９５で作りました。

Sweet 'n Sassy Stampsの騎士のイメージが、ハロウィーンの作品にも使えそうだったので、Inky Anticsのキャンディバスケットを付けてみました。やっぱり、トリックオアトリートは、キャンディバスケットがないと・・・ですよね～。
全てのイメージは、コピックマーカーで色を付けています。

Butterfly Happiness

I made this card yesterday for SCS Color Combination challenge 185. Two of the colors are from Stampin' Up! 's new In-Colors. The colors are also my favorites!

The stamp set I used for the card is "Butterfly Happiness" from There She Goes. The set is included the beautiful butterfly designs! The moment I saw the set, my head was spinning for the ideas and possibilities :) I just want to warn you that you will probably see I use the set again and again in the future!

昨日は、SCSのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１８５のカードを作りました。カラーコンビの２色は、Stampin' Up!から出た新色で、どちらも私が気に入っている色です。

スタンプセットは、There She Goesの「Butterfly Happiness」を使いました。このセットは、とっても素敵な蝶々のイメージが入っています。このセットを見た瞬間、色んなアイディアと可能性が、頭の中でグルグルしていました(笑）多分これからも、このセットを使った作品を見ることが多くなると思いますので、前もって忠告しておきますね！

For the quote and the one butterfly, I stamped with the black ink and VarsaMark first and I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I used the brayer and the sponges to put the colors on them (kiwi kiss for the quote panel and baja breeze for the butterfly. The two other butterflies are 2 step stamps (very cool!) so I stamped the solid image with baja breeze first and then I stamped the outline image with the black ink and VaraMark. And I just heat embossed the outlines with the clear embossing powder.
The leaves are trimmed with the scissors very carefully.
The cards were needed something -- so I put the rhinestones on the butterflies for *Bling*

慣用句と１羽の蝶々は、黒のインクとヴァーサマークを使ってスタンプし、クリアエンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスしました。その後、ブレイヤーとスポンジを使って色を付けています(慣用句のパネルは、キウイ色を、蝶々には空色を）。残りの２羽の蝶々は、２ステップのスタンプなので、初めにソリッドのイメージを空色のインクで捺し、アウトラインのイメージは、黒のインクとヴァーサマークを使って捺しました。そして、これらもクリアエンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスしてあります。蔦は、スタンプを捺した後、鋏で緊張しながら切りました。
何か足りないと思い・・・ラインストーンを蝶々に付け、＊キラキラ＊感を出しました。

No Layers!

I have seen the beautiful creations that SCS Dirty Girls made for Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge for the last couple days. I was so inspired and had to try it myself :)

The challenge rule is
1. Create NO LAYER card
2. Use masking or reverse masking
3. No color or shade of PINK

ここ２-３日、Dirty Dozen /Dirty Dozen Alumniチャレンジで、SCSのDity Girls が作った素敵な作品に影響され、私もトライしてみようと思いました。

チャレンジの内容は、こんな感じです。
１．レイヤー無しのカードを作る
２．マスキング、又はリバースマスキングを使う
３．ピンク色を使わない事

I wanted to make the faux torn paper for a long time, and I thought this would be a great time to try it.
I tore the copy paper for the masking and laid it on the white cardstock. I used the brayer and the spoge to put the mustard color. Then I move the torn copy paper to the right just little and sponged the lighter mustard color to make the faux torn edge. I also draw the line with the light brown marker for the torn edge to look more realistic.
After I stamped the french script, I uncovered the masking and used the sponge with the gray ink & Stampin' Pastels for distressing the shading on the other half of the card.
I laid the thin strip for masking and stamped the flower. Then I stamped the sentiment where the masking was. The flower was colored with Stampin' markers and Copic multi liner.
What do you think of my first faux torn edge?

ずっと、偽の破れた紙を作ってみたかったので、絶好のチャンスだと思いトライしてみました。
コピー紙をマスキング用に破り、白のカードストックの上にのせ、ブレイヤーとスポンジを使って、からし色を付けました。それから、コピー紙を少しだけ右にずらして、薄めのからし色をスポンジで色付けし、破れた感じを作りました。偽の破れ紙の縁の部分を、もう少しリアルにする為、薄い茶色のマーカーでなぞっています。
フレンチスクリプトのスタンプを捺した後、マスキングを取り、カードの半分をスポンジと灰色のインク、そしてStampin' Pastels (チョーク)で色付けし、影を作りました。細いストリップをマスキング用に使い、花のスタンプを捺しました。その後マスキングを取り、言葉をスタンプしました。花は、Stampin' マーカーとコピックマルチライナーで、色付けしてあります。
初めての偽せ破れ紙、皆さんはどう思いますか?

Weekend Challenges

Oh my! Where did the weekend go?!
I couldn't stamp on Saturday due to the busy plan. But I had (made) a time to stamp on Sunday instead :)

Before showing my cards, I wanted to show why I was busy on Saturday.

あっという間に週末も終わってしまいました。
土曜日は、別の計画があり忙しくてスタンプをする時間がありませんでした。でも、その代わり日曜日に時間を作り、こつこつスタンプ出来ました(嬉）

作品を見せる前に、土曜日が忙しかった理由がこちらです。

Yep, the football season is here. Since my daughter cheers for the different team from my son's team, I have to stay there for pretty much all day. But it is priceless to watch my kids enjoy doing something :)

Ok, back to the cards---

そうなんです。こちらでは、フットボールのシーズンが始まりました。娘は、息子のチームとは違うチームを応援するので、結局１日中そこに居なければいけません。でも、やっぱり子供達が一生懸命に何かをしている姿を見るのは、お金では買うことが出来ない貴重な時間ですね。

話題をカードに戻しますね・・・・

IC146 -- Mondo Dishes

I made this card for SCS Inspiration challenge 146. I took the inspiration from the one of the plates. To achieve the look, I used the resist technique for the card.
I stamped the solid design from Magenta with VarsaMark and heat embossed with the clear embossing powder. Then I used the brayer and the sponge to color the background.
I stamped the sentiment and put the rhinestones on the kiwi kiss panel. And I tied the ribbon for last. I like the clean and simple look of the card.

このカードは、ＳＣＳのインスピレーションチャレンジ１４６で作りました。お皿の一枚をインスピレーションに使っています。レジストテクニックを使って、お皿の模様と同じ様な感じにしました。
マジェンタのソリッドデザインを、ヴァーサマークでスタンプし、クリアエンボスパウダーでヒートエンボスしました。それから、ブレイヤーとスポンジを使って、色を付けました。
キウイ色のパネルに言葉をスタンプし、ラインストーンを付けました。最後にリボンを結び完成です。クリーンでシンプルな感じが、結構気に入っています。

OCC Challenge -- Chipboard

I'm really glad I took a time to make this card for Our Creative Corner challenge. The challenge is to "use Chipboard". I don't use the chipboard as much as I wanted so it was really a great challenge for me.
I found "i" "heart" and "u" shapes in my chipboard stash and I decided to cover them with the beautiful designer paper from My Mind's Eye.
I distressed around the edges with VarsaMagic after the glue was completely dried. I stamped the angel image from Whiff Of Joy Stamps and colored it with Copic markers. Then I trimmed and mounted it on the chipboard.
The card size is 7 1/4" x 4 1/4".

今週のOur Creative Cornerチャレンジを、やっとする事が出来ました(嬉）チャレンジは、「チップボードを使う」です。普段、あまりチップボードを使わないので、私には、とっても良いチャレンジでした。
チップボードが入っている箱から、「i」、｢ハート｣、そして「u」を見つけたので、傍にあったMy Mind's Eyeの可愛いデザイナーペーパーを貼り付ける事にしました。
チップボードの糊が完全に乾いてから、ヴァーサマジックで、縁に色を付けてディストレスしてあります。Whiff Of Joy Stamps (新しいスタンプカンパニーです）の天使のイメージは、コピックマーカーで色を付け、切り取った後チップボードに貼り付けました。
カードのサイズは、7 1/4インチ x 4 1/4インチです。

Paper: pink pirouette, rose red, taken with teal, chipboard (Stampin' Up!), designer papers (My Mind's Eye), watercolor paper (Strathmore)

Ink: basic brown (Stampin' Up!), VarsaMagic (Tsukineko), Copic markers (.Too)

FS85 -- E3stamper

This is the last card for this post. SCS Featured Stamper 85 is Shannon (E3stamper). I just adore her cute animal cards!! The moment I saw this card in her gallery, I had to case it :)

I changed the color combo, stamps and embellishments but I kept the sketch and the owl because they are my favorites of the card.

今回の最後のカードです。、ＳＣＳのFeatured Stamper 85は、Shannon（E3 stamper)さんです。彼女の可愛い動物カードは、必見です！ギャラリーで、このカードを見た瞬間、これをケースしようと思いました。

色の組み合わせ、スタンプ、そしてエンベリッシュメントを変え、カードで１番好きなスケッチとフクロウはそのまま使わせて頂きました。
フクロウは、コピックマーカーで色付けしてから、白のジェルペンを使ってハイライトをしています。言葉も少しだけ手を加えました。
