KS Monday -- Sep 14, 2009

Hello & happy Kitchen Sink Monday, everyone!
First of all, I'd like to send my big birthday wishes to my fellow KS Crew & blogger friend, Lynn !! Happy Birthday, Lynn!!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Our weekend was very wet, lol. We had rain for all weekend...so we stayed at home most of the time.
Some of the KS Crew are heading to Warner Robins, GA this Saturday for "KSS Chef in Training" event!! Anybody who will be there, have a lot of fun!! I know you will ;)

I used a few set for the card --3 Step Letters from the Past, 3 Step Butterflies, and Vintage Words to make the collage look. The pen and words are heat embossed with clear EP after stamping with dye inks and VersaMark. For the butterflies and stamp images, the only last step was used.

The image was stamped with these step:
(pen) 1st - bravo burgundy (stamping off), 2nd - bravo burgundy, 3rd - night of navy
(butterflies) 3rd - night of navy (stamping off)
(stamp) 2nd - always artichoke (stamping off)
(post mark) creamy caramel, (script) creamy caramel (stamping off)

Remember, your purchase will be discounted 10% from the total price (before tax & shipping) when you use a promotion code "MAKIKO10KSS" at KSS store anytime!

  4. This would be a PERFECT card for a teacher gift especially if said teacher is male. It is very classy, and the colors lend a masculine feel to the card. Thank you for sharing.
