TSG25 -- Dry Embossing

Hello everyone~
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I was out all day Saturday and pooped out pretty much after that. I stamped some on Sunday though :):) I'm going to be busy with stamping for the next couple week...hope you will come back to check my blog as well :):)

Anyway, I am a challenge host for There She Goes challenge (TSG25) that has been posted over TSG Blog! (if the challenge is not posted yet, please come back later today) The challenge is to make a card/project with using dry embossing. All participants will have a chance to win $5 gift certificate to use at TSG store!!

There are a few dry embossing ways to play and I chose to use my all time favorite way -1 texture plates (embossing folders)!
With mixing a few of CB embossing folders, I picked Bloom stamp set to create the card. I colored the flower image with Copic markers and then painted the colored image over with VersaMark pen. Then I heat embossed it with clear EP. The main mat was sponged with SU bashful blue ink and edged with SU marigold morning ink. Can you see the punched butterflies were also dry embossed??

Stamps: Bloom (TSG)
Paper: marigold morning, bashful blue, old olive (SU), classic white (Flourishes)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, VersaMark (Tsukineko), bashful blue, marigold morning (SU), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon, gold pearls, sewing thread
, clear EP
Tools: CB embossing folder, Nestabilities, border punch, butterfly punch

Thank you for stopping by.
