Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone~
How about another square card for Angela's "Hip to be Square" challenge? If you love KSS stamps and have a set or two to play, I will encourage to enter your square card before April 24th. You have a chance to win the KSS gift certificate to spend at KSS Store...what a great way to earn a free set or more!!
For my square card, I created an easel card. Easel cards are so easy and fun to make :):) I used my all time favorite sets, 3 Step Hibiscus set and 3 Step Butterflies set. The flowers were stamped and masked first. Then, the leaves were stamped. The butterflies were stamped, cut out and attached on the stamped mat with dimensional adhesives.
The sentiment piece was created with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag trio 2 and Lattice Pendant die.
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Memento unless mentioned):
(Hibiscus) 1st - summer sky, 2nd - bahama blue (1 x stamp off), 3rd - bahama blue, 4th - paris dusk
(Leaves) 1st - pear tart, 2nd - bamboo leaves (1 x stamp off), 3rd - bamboo leaves
(Butterflies) 1st - dandelion, 2nd - cantaloupe, 3rd - rich cocoa
This card is also submitted to this week's Our Creative Challenge (OCCC) - use butterflies on cards.
