SC285 & CTD97 – You’ve Got Style

SONY DSC

Hello and happy Thursday everyone~

I had a time to play some challenges yesterday afternoon. This card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge (SC285) and the color combo from Color Throwdown (CTD97).

I created the custom designer paper using Accent Notes set from Verve Stamps… I also used Express Yourself for the images and the sentiment on the three squares. I embellished the prima tea roses to complete the card.

ETD: Thanks to Liz, I found out I could submit this card to the Speedy's Friends' blog challenge #7Make your own background paper.

Stamps: Accent Notes, Express Yourself (Verve Stamps)
Paper:  classic white (Flourishes), not quite navy, certainly celery (SU)
Ink:   not quite navy, certainly celery, cameo coral (SU)
Accessories: prima tea roses
Tools: square Nestabilities, border punch

Before I go, I’d like to tell you about an exciting news!! As some of you have noticed the blinkie on the top of the side bar, I’ve been asked to be July Guest Designer for Color Throwdown !!! Since the 100th challenge (also my first challenge as a guest) is coming up on July 7th, they let me reveal the secret earlier, so I can tell all of you to join this special challenge next month! I can’t wait to play along CTD with you and CTD DT girls!!
