KS Monday – Sep 27th, 2010

SONY DSC

Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday, everyone~

It’s less than 2 weeks until KSS Workshops in Houston, TX. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is anxiously waiting that weekend :):) I cannot wait to meet you all and have a wonderful KSS time!! If you are still interested in, HERE is the details and class registration.

Before September is over, I wanted to mention that “September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month” with today’s card. There are many companies still sell the teal color items to donate a part of their contribution until September 30th. Please visit Ovarian Cancer National Alliance and get to know about the cancer and why we need to spread our word of the awareness. If you are a woman, you need to aware of this cancer. Just like Breast Cancer, early detection of ovarian cancer saves women’s lives.

I used Multi Step Ribbons for a Cause and these are the steps I did for each image:
(Ribbon) 1st step – SU bashful blue, 2nd step – SU marina mist, 3rd – SU taken with teal

I also submit this card to these challenge:

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #129 (TESC129)

- Crazy 4 Challenges 56 (C4C56) … use “BLING”

- Our Creative Corner Challenge … Color Challenge

  5. Oh Maki, it's beautiful. Thanks for the reminder about ovarian cancer. We always associate October with breast cancer, but we definitely need to create more awareness about September.

I'm excited for the KSS Extravaganza, and so sad I won't be able to make it.
