Happy Wednesday everyone~
My week is already messed up after the long weekend, lol. I wonder some of you are like me….
Anyway, whether you don’t feel like it’s already Wednesday or not, it’s time for What If? Wednesday from Repeat Impressions!! Wendy has posted another wonderful sketch for you to play!
You will have 2 weeks (until Tuesday, Sep 21st) to enter your card for the challenge over RI Blog “The House That Stamps Built”. All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate!! I can’t wait to see your creation! Please check out RI Blog for the more detail.
Here is my card…
As you see, I changed it to the square. The light house scenery “Portland Head Light sm (1401-P)” was stamped with VersaMark on the kraft mat and heat embossed with white EP. I sponged the edge to distress the mat. The three square mat was stamped using “Scallop Shell (2418-E)” and the greeting stamp, “Quartet Compliments”. The square mats were embellished with the pearls. The shells were colored with Copic markers. I used hemp twine and linen ribbon for the borders.
Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!

Beautiful card, Maki. Nice job with the sketch. That scallop shell is a great complement to the lighthouse image, and of course, the pearls are the perfect complement to the scallop shells!!
