Happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful & safe weekend.
Today is the first Monday of the month…that means it is time for Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge (KSCC#30)!! Angela is challenging us to *CASE one of the KS Crew’s card*!! The challenge due is on Christmas Eve, Dec 24th. To get more detail about the challenge, please visit KSS Blog. We are looking forward to seeing your monochromatic project!
There are so many cards I wanted to case… these ladies are truly talented and inspiring me all the time! In the end, I decided to case this card that was made by Connie.
[Connie’s card]
Here is my case card
I love how Connie created the beautiful night scene! The moon is so incredible, don’t you think? For my card, I used the same moon image and color tone from Multi Step Owl & Autumn Moon set. I created mine using the Santa & his sleigh image from Friends of the Moon set. The trees were stamped using Multi Step Pine Trees and the word “BELIEVE” was from Vintage Words.
These are the steps I did for each image:
(Autumn Moon) 3rd – Memento london fog, 2nd – london fog (1 x stamp off), 1st – Memento summer sky (1 x stamp off)
(Pine Trees) 1st – SU basic gray, 2nd – Memento tuxedo black
(Santa) – Memento rhubarb stalk
The sky was sponged with Memento summer sky, SU tempting turquoise, SU basic gray and Memento tuxedo black. Then I stamped the stars with Memento dandelion. I also added the shadow with london fog ink using Fantastix.
