FTTC103–Valentine’s Day Card

SONY DSC

Hello everyone~

It’s time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 103 (FTTC103)!! The challenge host is Silke Ledlow and she is challenge us to create a *Valentine’s Day card/project*!! A perfect challenge for this time of the year! Please visit at Flourishes Blog to find more detail about how to play the FTTC challenge.

I decided to use the classic Flourishes set, I Love Roses. The set has some wonderful sayings for Valentine’s Day as well as the gorgeous rose images! When I stamped the rose, I curved the stem slightly on the acrylic block. I like about this cool trick you can do with clear stamps ;) After stamping the image, I colored with Copic markers (Flesh Tones, Evergreen and Poppy Collections). Then I  sponged the edge of the mat with brown ink and I stamped the saying with the same brown ink.

I stamped the little sayings from Angelic Love on the little tags and attached to the red satin ribbon with the brown twine. To finish off, I attached the punched butterfly with rhinestones.

This card is also entered to Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 102 (SSSC102) and CR84FN13 Color Challenge. It’s my first time to play both challenges! I’m just so glad I got to play something new to me :):)
