Happy Hump day everyone~
I have a lot of things to do this week but I just cannot motivated… my To-Do list is not cleared as quickly as I’ve planned :P At least I don’t lose my MOJO (yet!) and hopefully I can go back to my stamp room for a few hours for the next couple days!
I have one card for What If? Wednesday Sketch Challenge from Repeat Impressions!
You will have 2 weeks (until Tuesday, Feb 8th) to enter your card for the challenge over RI Blog “The House That Stamps Built”. All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate!! I hope you will play along with us! Please check out RI Blog for more detail.
Here is my card for the challenge.
I made this card with one of my favorites (I have too many favorites, lol) stamps, “Sunflower (4313-K) ” and “Someone Special (1107-F) ” for the saying. I used Our Creative Corner Challenge for the colors – *analogous color scheme*. As you see I rotated the sketch for the card. The image was colored with Copic markers as usual and sponged the mat with dye ink. The top border and the top of the bottom border was used border punch. The secret to make a decorative border like the top one is to start with 1” strip and start punching at the center of the strip. Of course you probably already knew that ;) I just found out while watching the HSN scrapbooking show the other day!
To finish off the card, I also did the paper piercing above the saying and embellished with rhinestones and organdy ribbon bow.
Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!
