FTTC106–Birthday Card

SONY DSC

Happy Tuesday everyone~

It’s time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC106)!! Tammy Hershberger is our challenge host this week and she is challenging us to create a *Birthday Card* !! I LOVE making birthday cards and they are always great to stock up! Please visit at Flourishes Blog to find more detail about how to play the FTTC challenge.

My card was used Let Them Eat Cake set for both image and sentiment.  I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 105 (SSSC105) . The color combo was followed Color Q Challenge 72 (CQC#72)The submission due was already expired but I just had to play this fun colors :)

SONY DSCEach image was stamped on the white mat as you see and the mat was sponged with light blue ink and dauber. Then I embellished the cake with white pearls. I cut out two lace circle frames with Lacey Nestabiliites and overlapped them to create the fun frame. The scalloped squares on the BG was used all scraps I had in the stash. The sentiment was stamped on the scallop oval mat. To finish off. I used lace trim for the border & bow, and embellished with Prima tea roses.
