FTTC107– An Irish Blessing

SONY DSC

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone~

Today is March 1st!! March is always a busy month for me…spring break, birthdays, spring cleaning….  Mardi Gras is also falls into March this year. (hopefully we can go to one of Mardi Gras parades in my neighborhood this weekend) And… I cannot ignore St. Patrick’s day since a half of my husband’s family is mostly an Irish :) (Maybe that’s why my son LOVES green since he was a baby? lol)

This week’s Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge (FTTC107) is a just perfect for those people who love green!! Dee Jackson is challenging us to create a St. Patty’s day card. If you don’t have anything for St. Patty’s, you can just use *green* for your card/project! Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

For my card, I used this beautiful St Patty’s set, Irish Blessing. I stamped the image and the saying on the circle mat. The image was colored with Copic markers and DI walnut stain for more shading. The background was stamped with little clover stamp. To finish off, I embellished with green ribbon, black rhinestones and green Prima tea roses. (aren’t they cute?…I love the different shades of green!)

This card is also submitted to Sweet Stop Sketch 98 (SSS97).
