RI Designer’s Choice Challenge - Karen

SONY DSC

Hello everyone~

Wow…this week seems going very fast! I hope your week is wonderful so far.

I have one card to show you today. I made this card for Designer’s Choice Challenge from Repeat Impressions!! It’s Karen’s turn to host and she has challenged us to create a Child’s Birthday/ happy card with including embossing (wet or dry)!!

You will have two weeks (by Apr 26th) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post at RI blog where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built (RI blog).

For my card, I used Rocking Horse (117-I) for the image and the saying from Quartet Complements Series (Plate 8600) . The image was colored with Copic markers and adhered on the pennant that was made with Spellbinders. As you see, I did dry embossing for the background using the embossing folder. Hope it will make little girls feel happy :)

  4. Wonderful Card Maki. Love the bright cheerful colors you used. I may have to rethink my decision on NOT getting those banner dies.
