RI Designer’s Choice Challenge–Makiko (me)

SONY DSC

Hello everyone~

This is my first post since last Friday…I was away from stamping for a few days for some family time. I hope your week is wonderful so far.

It’s time for Repeat Impressions Designer’s Choice Challenge and it’s my turn to host! My challenge is *Christmas in July*, create a Christmas (Holiday) card/project. You will have two weeks (by July 19th) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post at RI blog where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built (RI blog). Can’t wait your creation!

I used Santa’s Friend (2901-I) for the main image. It was colored with Copic markers and the bag was pieced. I used Christmas (1141-F) for the sentiment. I designed the card using Spellbinders dies and border punch. To finish off, I embellished with the ribbon and white pearls.
