FTTC135–Shaped Cards

SONY DSC

Hello everyone~

It’s time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC135). Beate is challenging us to create a shaped card – anything but a regular shaped card! For example: circle, oval, square and etc.

Please visit Flourishes Blog for more information about the challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creation!!

I decided to make a square card and play with the around page punch for the layers… I have a quite collection of those punch sets but I don’t use the corner ones as much as I want. This was a great opportunity to get punched out!! The image and sentiment are from Italian Garden set and the image was colored with Copic markersEvergreen, Poppy, YG23, 21, C03, 01, 00. The colored panel was layered with the lacey square panel.  The card was embellished with the scalloped edges ribbon, button with brown twine and rhinestones.

  8. Love these rich, warm colors and the loopy border which makes such a beautiful frame for your square card. The tomatoes are colored so well. My tomatoes were started too late and I'm still waiting for any shade of red to show up on them. Yours are mouth watering!
