FTTC141–Trees & Leaves

SONY DSC

Happy Tuesday everyone~

It is time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC141)!! It’s my turn to host and I am challenging you to use *Trees and (or) Leaves* for your creation! That means try not use flowers! (I know it is torture for some of you…and if you cannot live without using them, don’t use them as a focal point of your creation at least! Please visit Flourishes Blog for more information about the challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creation!!

For my card, I used A Season of Celebrations set for the image and sentiment. The image was stamped with VersaMark on the white mat and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added the red and pink colors on the ornaments with glitter pens. Then the mat was sponged with ink. The card was designed with the cardstocks and holiday themed designer paper. The decorative border was also attached on the bottom of the card. To finish off, I embellished with the buttons with wax twine and the satin ribbon.

My card is based on the sketch from Sweet Stop Sketch 131 (SSS131)revisiting SSS69. You can see I ended up changing some though ;)
