Hello everyone! It’s time for What If? Wednesday Sketch Challenge from Repeat Impressions! You will have 2 weeks (until Tuesday, Nov 1st) to enter your card using the sketch (on right) over RI Blog The House That Stamps Built. All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate!! I hope you will play along with us! Please check out RI Blog for more detail.

Here is my take.

SONY DSC

I used Sunflower (4314-K) for the image and colored it with Copic markers. Then the edge of the mat was sponged with ink. The greeting, Thinking of You (1105-E) was stamped just below the mat. The rest of the card was designed with the decorated edge border, cardstocks and designer paper. To finish off, it was embellished with the ribbon and rhinestone brad.

  2. Hey, we used the same wonderful stamp! :) (I love that sunflower.) Your card is awesome, Maki. Pretty papers, and I like the two rounded corners on your image panel. And the sponging around the edge, too.
