FTTC148–Opposite Attract!

Sweet_Violets_1-1_edited

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone~

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC148)!! It is my turn to host and my challenge is *Opposite Attract*use a same image and make two cards/projects with two totally different look, style theme or colors. For example, CAS (clean & simple) and lots of layers, feminine and masculine, monochromatic and lots of colors, for a child and adult, for birthday and sympathy, anyway you think they are totally different or opposite. Please visit Flourishes Blog for more information about the challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creation!!

For my cards, I used Sweet Violets and made each card with CAS and a lot of layers style. I also did one card with no coloring and the other with coloring.

For the CAS card, I adhered the green border strips on the top and bottom of the card after stamping the violet. Then I stamped the sentiment and embellished with the ribbon & swirl pearls.

For the a-lot-of-layers card, I colored the image with Copic markers and sponged the background with the Distress Ink. The card was designed with the cardstock and designer papers. The sentiment mat was created with Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die set. To finish off, I embellished with the same ribbon & swirl pearls I used for the CAS card.

The Copic Collections I mostly used.

    14. Both cards are beautiful in their own way. I never think of just stamping one of the images without coloring it, but it is really pretty that way.
