RI Designer’s Choice Challenge–Spring Card w/ pastel colors

Daffodils_RI_1_edited

Happy Leap Day everyone!! Hope your leap day is super wonderful…whether or not, it comes only once every four years ;) Better to be wonderful, right?
It is time for Designer’s Choice Challenge from Repeat Impressions! It is Karen’s turn to host and she is challenging us to make a spring themed card with pastel colors. You will have two weeks (March 13th) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post at RI blog where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built (RI blog). Can’t wait to see your creation!

I decided to create one layer card, using the sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL179) . First, I stamped the sentiment, Happy Easter/Spring (3909-F) and masked it, Then I stamped Daffodils (904-L) and colored with Copic markers. To finish off, I tied the ribbon and attached the button with vintage twine.

Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!
