Hello and happy Tuesday everyone~

It is time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC163)!! There are some changes for the FTTC team members. We welcome a new member, Amanda Havon!! Her elegant style always inspires me and I am so excited with her joining! For today’s challenge, the new challenge coordinator, Beate is challenging us to create a *birthday* card. Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

I need some birthday cards for guys so I decided to create a masculine birthday card for the challenge. I used What A Catch set. The image was stamped on classic white cardstock with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copic markers. The image mat was sponged with Distress Ink milled lavender and dusty concord using Ink Blending tool and Foam. The card was created with Bo Bunny Serenity paper and colored cardstock. I used some Martha Stewart decorative punches to crate the scalloped frame and border. The purple frame was also dry embossed with Sizzix embossing folder. For the sentiment, I stamped “Happy BIRTHDAY” from Tag Lines set and “TO A REEL GREAT GUY” from What A Catch set on the mat that was created with Spellbinders Grommet Tags die. The mat was sponged with DI tea dye and embellished with the purple rhinestones.
