Hello and happy Tuesday!!

It is time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC170)!! Beate is challenging us to use floral stamps from Flourishes ! It may be a little hard for some of you since there are so many fabulous floral stamps by FLLC but hope you will have a time to play along with us! Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

After taking a time to think, I decided to use Zinnias for the challenge. The image was stamped with Memento tuxedo black on classic ivory cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then the square mat was sponged with Distress Ink old paper using blending tool and layered on the mat of SB Lacey Squares die. Using the same die set, I die-cut the mat for the sentiment and it was sponged with DI shabby shatters. The rest of the card was designed with Basic Grey designer papers and colored cardstock. To finish off, I embellished with the white wrinkle ribbon with vintage brad and aquamarine rhinestones.

Copic colors I used for this project:

  4. Maki, I love your card and all the bold papers and colors! I love the image you chose and how you colored it all in. I really love that look, and try to use you as inspiration on trying to get more bold in my colors and coloring :) But it always looks so "wrong" when I do it. I love to look at yours, because you really make it seem so effortless :)
