Wedded_Bliss_fllc_1-2_edite

There are many favorites sets and it is always hard for me to pick one favorite set. Finally, I decided to use my favorite silhouette set, Wedded Bliss. My husband and I are celebrating 17th wedding anniversary in a few weeks and I wanted to make an anniversary card to share with him before too late to make. (My vacation starts July 1st and I won’t be able to stamp until 25th!) I stamped the image with VersaMark & Memento Danube Blue on the classic white cardstock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then it was die cut with my favorite Spellbinders die (also FLLC Tailor-Made die), Classic Keyhole die set. I sponged the mat with Memento Summer Sky and London Fog using the blending tool. The Copic marker (C01) was used for the shadow. The sentiment from Happily Ever After was stamped on the mat that was die cut with the same die set. The rest of the card was designed with BG designer paper and colored cardstock. The border was created with SB Lotus Borderabilities and embellished with blue pearls (favorite embellishment!) To finish off, the white sheer ribbon was tied and the flower cluster that was created with SB Bitty Blossoms and pine needle punch. Then I added the crystal trinket pin and larger pearls.

Be sure to check out other FOF’s creations too!

Then they were die cut with SB dies and sponged with Memento ink using blending tool.

For the white card layer, I stamped the small flower clusters and sentiments on the bottom and dry embossed with embossing folders. To finish off, the lace trims and rhinestones were embellished.

I decided to use one of my new favorite sets, Hydrangea. I love Hydrangeas with all different colors and shades but my very favorite one is white. I am happy that I had an opportunity to create white ones for the challenge :) I stamped the image with Memento rich cocoa on the classic white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I sponged the edge with Distress Ink pumice stone. I layered with the olive green carkstock layer (yes, I cheated a little) and added the border that was used Basic Grey Indie Bloom designer paper. The lace ribbon was added over the border and the pearls were embellished. The sentiment was stamped with Memento tuxedo black and die cut with SB label 4 Nestabilities. After the label was sponged with DI shabby shatters, the pearls were added to finish off.

Copic colors I used for this project:

(Lighter shades only)

KS Monday–Happy Birthday Zinnias

Zinnias_KSS_1_edited

Hello and happy Monday everyone~

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a lots of traveling coming up in July so we just stay around here until then. My kids love to have their friends come over and swim and sleep over all time…so it still keeps me busy ;)

My card for Kitchen Sink Monday is Clean & Simple (again)! I used Multi Step Zinnias for the image and Whole Family for the sentiment. I like how the zinnias gives a drama even though it is a clean and simple style.

The image was stamped with these steps:
Two zinnias on the left : 5th – VersaFine imperial purple, 4th – Memento rhubarb stalk, 3rd – Memento lady bug, 2nd – lady bug (1 x stamp off), and 1st – Memento angel pink

Zinnia on the right : 5th – VersaFine Imperial purple, 4th – Memento rhubarb stalk, 3rd – Memento lady bug, 2nd – Memento rose bud , and 1st – lady bug (1 x stamp off)

As you read the color recipe, I changed the colors of ink for some of the steps to make each zinnia look different.

After I stamped the sentiment, I dry embossed the white mat with emboss texture. To finish off, I embellished the rhinestones.

The sketch was used from Clean & Simple Stamping Blog (FTL193).
