Hi there,
It is time for Designer’s Choice Challenge from Repeat Impressions!! It is my turn to choose the challenge and I am challenging you to create a project with a outdoor/wildlife theme.
You will have two weeks (Jul 31) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post at RI blog where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built (RI blog). Can’t wait to see your creation!
I love to make a scenery and decided to create an nature scene with this cute creature! I used Raccoon (4219-J) and Fern (1708-G). On the glossy cardstock, I stamped the raccoon and colored it wit Copic markers. Then I colored it over with a VersaMark pen and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next, I masked the background and stamped the ferns behind the raccoon and sponged the sky with ink. After sponging the grass with ink, I stamped the fern again and colored them and some other details with Copic markers. The card was designed with BG designer paper and colored cardstock. To finish off, I stamped the sentiment, Knowing you... (1214-G) on the banner and embellished the flower button with vintage twine.
Be sure to check out the creations by the rest of RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!
