TSG Sneak Peek Blog Hop!!

I made 2 samples for the sneak peek and both cards are also entered Stampin' Out Alzheimer's (SOA) event challenges. I'm so happy to find out they already passed the original goal for the donation!! OK, when I saw this stamp set, I was soooo excited!! I think Jessica knows what we all need, lol! The set is called " Rejuvenate", illustrated by Pien DaPino. As you see, it's a bath & Spa related set and fabulous images with perfect words & sentiments are in it!
I used the sketch from Mojo Monday 88 (Mojo88). Here is the link from SOA (you have to sign up first). I colored the image with Copics and cut out the circle shape instead of using the entire image. I stamped each word on the top and the sentiment on the bottom.

The next set is one of the most beautiful sets from TSG (I think that every month, lol). The set is called "Act of Kindness" with 19 beautiful shilouette images and sentiments. It is perfectly collaborated with "Nature of Friendship" and other shilouette stamps from TSG.
I made the card for Two By Two Card Challenge, sponsored by Taylored Expressions and hosted by Jodi and Karen. Here is the link about the challenge.They suggested to use brown & pink color combo and 2 embellishments. The funny coincedence was I used only 2 stamps, too - one shilouette and one sentiment. Jodi, can I have a bonus point for that??, lol.

TSG June Release Challenge

Happy Friday everyone!
There She Goes is going to release new stamp sets this Sunday May 31st, and we are going to have a fun with starting the monthly challenge!

The challenge is Color combo challenge -- black, white and ONE other color, suggested by a fabulous stamper Joanne!
My card is not exactly following the challenge. I was humming the song "Black & White" by Michael Jackson while I making it and I totally forgot to add another color, lol! The only color I added beside B&W was a clear dew drop on the heel...Does it count??, lol.

今週の日曜日(５月３１日）に、There She Goesから、新しいスタンプセットが発売されます。それに因んで、最初のイベントとしてマンスリーチャレンジが提示されました。

Stampin' Out Alzheimer's Event May 25 - Jun 1

Hello everyone and happy Memorial Day!!
KS Crews are doing a special challenge for Stampin' Out Alzheimer's (SOA) instead of the regular KS Monday.
Susanna Boyd & Jen Tapler have planed this special event, and many other stampers in the paper craft community to help them by participating in the event.

Please read the article, The Story of Stampin' Out Alzheimer's by Jen Tapler and watch Susanna Boyd's video. I know you will participate for a good cause, along with having a fun with challenges, prizes, free kits, tutorials and more....
All you need to do to sign up for this event is to pay $5.00 minimum as a donation. All raised funds will be donated to the American Alzheimer's Associasion.

For my kss4soa project, I made 6"x 6" scrapbook layout. The little girl and the man of the photo is ME :) and my Dad. The photo was probably taken when I was 3-4 years old. My dad's passion was to paint. He was a landscape oil painter for the most of his life and he also loved to paint roses. I used to stay his studio and watch his painting for hours. It was the most precious memory I have with him. I was a daddy's girl and even now after his death. He past away after battling of cancer for 2 years on Feb 21, 1994 at age 62. I still miss him every day but I'm also in peace at the same time because I know he will come to meet me when I'm ready. Yes, he always lives in my heart....

The images and title were used from Hearts & Roses set. Maria's color recipes are awesome! I really recommend to save them in your file. Thanks Maria!

tsg07 -- Color Combination challenge

Hello everyone~ How's your weekend so far?
There She Goes challenge (tsg07) was posted on Friday over TSG Forum and it was color combination challenge that was suggested by the awesome stamper, Jodi!! The colors are rose red, apricot appeal and chocolate chip. It made me think autumn....mmm....love the colors!

I used Happy Day from There She Goes and colored the images with Copics. I really like the blue bird stands out from the rest of the elements and TWEETin' you, lol.

KS Monday -- May 18 2009

Hello everyone and Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!!
Today's card was used the idea from the one of Maria's beautiful card. I really love how she put the square panels and just had to try it myself :) Thank you Maria for sharing it.

今回のカードは、Mariaさんの素敵なカードの1つから、アイデアを頂いて作っています。四角のパネルの貼り方がとても素敵で、自分でもトライせざる終えませんでした(笑）Mariaさん有難う!

My MIL asked me to make a card for her cousin so she could send her a handmade quilt with the card. I used the one of the fabrics that she used for the quilt as a inspiration for the card. I cut the green, purple and stamped patterned papers (stamped with Hearts & Roses) to 1" blocks. After I pieced them together, I ran the pieced panel with the top notes die through Sizzix machine.

つい先日義母から、彼女の従妹へのカードを、手作りのキルトと一緒に送るから作って欲しいと頼まれました。そこで、キルトに使われた布をインスピレーションに使い、カードを作ってみました。緑、紫とスタンプしたパターンペーパー（Hearts & Rosesを使ってスタンプ）を1インチのブロックに切り、組み合わせながら貼り付けパネルを作り、トップノート型のダイと一緒に、シジックスに通しました。

I used Whole Family set for the sentiment and Hearts & Roses for the rose images. The rose piece was adhered with dimensional adhesives.

言葉はWhole Familyのセットを使い、バラのイメージはHearts & Rosesのセットを使っています。バラの花部分は、フォームステッカーを使って重ねました。

Paper: lavender lace, certainly celery, close to cocoa (SU), white cardstock (PTI)

Roses for Friends

Hello everyone~
This card was made about a week ago but I completely forgot to upload here (it was on my SCS gallery so I thought I already wrote about it here, too....)

I entered 2 challenges with this card -- SCS Clean and Simple challenge 14 (CAS14) and Color Combination challenge 218 (CC218).

このカードは、約1週間前に作ったんですが、こちらにアップするのをすっかりわすれてました＾＾”（SCSのマイギャラリーにはアップしたので、ここにも更新したと思いこんでいました。。。）

このカードは2つのチャレンジ、SCSのクリーンアンドシンプルチャレンジ14（CAS14)とカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ218 (CC218)にエントリーしました。

I used rock & roll technique, which was the suggested challenge for CAS14, on the leaves and roses. After I stamped the roses, I dabbed only orange ink on the middle of the images with sponge dauber and I traced the outline with white gel pen. I also scored the 4 sides of the card base.

CAS14で示されたロックアンドロールのテクニックは、私の大好きなテクニックの１つで、葉とバラに使っています。バラをスタンプした後、オレンジのインクとダウバーを使って、真ん中の部分だけ色をぼかしまし、白のジェルペンで、アウトラインをなぞりました。最後に、カードベースの4隅に線をつけました。

Paper: white cardstock (PTI)

Ink: summer sun, only orange, kiwi kiss, old olive (SU), white gel pen

TSG06 -- Inspiration Challenge

Hello everyone~
Wow! Where did the time go?? I haven't update my blog for almost a week! Since my hubby left for a job site in Georgia & Alabama last Tuesday, my stamping mojo's gone somewhere.... Thanks to the deadlines of the design teams I'm belonged to, I can gradually bring my mojo back :)

Before showing my card, I have a announcement from There She Goes.
We are now hosting the weekly challenge over TSG forum on Fridays. There is no timelines for the challenges. The purpose is just having fun and TSG stamps are not required to use.
We are also having Friday Night Chat here too! The chat time is from 7-9 pm Eastern and Pacific time. Let's register and have some fun with us!!

これから毎週金曜日、TSGのフォーラムで、ウィークリーチャレンジを提供します。締め切りなどは無く、、TSGのスタンプを使う必要もありません。あくまで、楽しくチャレンジをするのが目的です。

This card was made for There She Goes Challenge (tsg06), inspiration challenge with cupcake d'lights {South Africa}. This blog has been saved in my Favorites for a long time since my friend, Miho showed me. It's my guilty pleasure to look through those amazing and gorgeous cake arts. I e-mailed about the site to Jessica if she could come up the inspiration challenge with using it to celebrate the birthdays of four of Trendsetters (Becky, Christi, Faith and Jessica) in the month of May. I hope you will enjoy inspiring and drooling over the blog, lol.

I took my inspiration from this cake here.

I colored the images from Tea For Two set with Copics and adhered them on the yellow mat. The cream card base was also stamped with Tea For Two Special Blends set. The little pink rose is from She's A Lady set. I thought it was just perfect!

KS Monday -- May 11 2009

Happy Monday and Kitchen Sink Monday, everybody! If you are Mom, I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I had a good one and my kids even led me take a nap :) :) :)

皆さん、こんにちは～。今日は、Kitchen Sink Mondayの日です。母の日は、素敵な日をすごせましたか?私にとっては、良い1日でした。午後は、昼寝もさせてもらえたし。。。(笑）

My project for KS Monday is the another "Running with Scissors" project from KS Crew Challenge #13. I used 3 Step Daisy set and Cuttlebug Leaf Branch embossing folder to create the design.
After I embossed the green mat and inked around the embossed image, I trimmed around just half of the image and mounted it on the blue mat. Then I adhered the daisies and the ladybug, were stamped and trimmed, with the dimensional adhesives like the photo shown.
I put a little amount of Glossy accents on the flowers and ladybug to imitate the morning dune and the shiny wings.

私のKS Mondayの作品は、KS Crew チャレンジ＃13 "Running with Scissors"に関係するものを作りました。3 Step DaisyとカトルバグのLeaf Branch エンボスフォールダーを使って、このデザインを作りました。
緑のマットをエンボスし、浮き上がったイメージの周りにインクを付けた後、その周り半分だけ切り取り、青のマットの上に重ねました。それから、スタンプを捺し切り取ったデイジーとてんとう虫を、画像で見せている様に、フォームステッカーで貼りました。
最後に、花とてんとう虫にグロッシーアクセントを少量付け、朝露と羽の光沢の感じを表現しました。

Vintage Rose and KSS discount code

I'd like to post one more card before going to bed. This card was made for SCS Inspiration challenge (IC179). We are using the inspirations from Bonjour mon coussin.

I took my inspiration from this cushion.


Very pretty, huh? I love the vintage look of the cushion and the colors of roses.
I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner challenge (OCCC).
The stamps are Hearts & Roses from Kitchen Sink Stamps. After I stamped the all images on the main panel, I inked the background very lightly with sponge daubers. Then I adhered the roses and leaves, stamped on and cut out from the scrap cardstock, on the original image.

寝る前に、もう1枚だけカードを更新します。このカードは、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ179（IC179)で作りました。今回のインスピレーションは、Bonjour mon coussinからです。私が使ったインスピレーションは、上のクッションです。ビンテージな感じと、バラの色がとても気に入りました。

Better Late Than NEVER

Hello everyone~
My belated birthday cards are out and I needed to make some more, lol. I seriously need to keep dates like birthdays in the one book!

I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions Cupcake challenge #67 (TECC67). The stamps are Slow & Steady and Cupcake mix & match from There She Goes. The all images were colored with Copics. Can you see the snail are pulling the cupcake??
I stamped the sentiment "Happy belated Birthday" on the inside of the card.

私の遅れてごめんなさいバースデーカードが底をついて、又何枚か作ることになりまりた（笑）真剣に、友達や家族の誕生日などの重要な日を、ちゃんと1つのところにメモって置かなくては!

Catching up SCS challenges

Hello everyone~
I'm trying to catch up SCS challenges I've missed. I wish I had 6 extra hours everyday, lol.

The card above was used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 227 (SC227) and combined SCS Way to Use it challenge 217 (WT217), Kool Kraft. I love kraft but I often forget to use it. The color combo like this is really the out side of box for me but I kinda like how it was turned out :)
The set I used is called She's A Lady from There She Goes.
I colored the lady with Copics. The high heel was stamped with black & VersaMark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I also added lavender Stickles on the roses.

女性は、コピックで色を付けました。ハイヒールは、黒とバーサマークのインクで捺してから、黒のエンボスパウダーを使ってヒートエンボスしています。最後にバラの部分だけ、ラベンダー色のSticklesを付けました。

The next one was used the sketch from SCS Clean and Simple challenge 13 (CAS13). It was also combined with SCS Limited Supplies challenge 219 (LSC219). The challenge was to make a project that reflects or represents any May celebration.
May 6th is "International No Diet Day" and I decided to make a card that was all SWEETS!!
Here is the detail about the celebration if you are interested :)

All stamps are from There She Goes. I used Cupcake mix & match for the most of cupcakes and the sentiment. The little circle image is from A-Z and 123, and the little cupcake is from Tweeterpated. All images were colored with Copics and I added Stickles and Glossy accents on the cakes for the little extra shine :)

次のカードは、SCSのクリーン＆シンプルチャレンジ13 (CAS13)のスケッチを使い、リミットサプライチャレンジ219 (LSC219)も取り入れています。チャレンジは、「5月中にある祝日にまつわる、又は表現している作品を作る」でした。
毎年5月6日は「ダイエットをしない日（International No Diet Day)」という祝日だということを知ったので、スイーツ満載のカードを作ることにしました（笑）

スタンプは全てThere She Goesからです。殆どのカップケーキは、Cupcake mix & matchのセットを使っています。小さなサークルのイメージは、A-Z and 123から、小さいカップケーキは、Tweeterpatedからのスタンプを使いました。イメージは全て、コピックで色を付け、Sticklesとグロッシーアクセントを使って、光沢を少し付けています。

Mojo Monday 85

Hello everyone~
I'm still in the mood of coloring :) I was asked my mother in law to make a card for her mom. She loves strawberries and I know this adorable image from House Mouse Designs will make her smile :)
I colored the image with Copics (again!) and added Twinking H2Os for shading and shimmers on the strawberries.
You probably know how much I love doing challenges, lol. This card was used the sketch from Mojo Monday 85 (Mojo85). Originally I placed only one flower embellishment next to the sentiment panel but I didn't like it. So, I ended up adding one more flower embellies and 3 dew drops :)

まだ、色を塗りたい気分が続いています（笑）先日義母から、彼女の母へのカードを作って欲しいと頼まれました。彼女はイチゴが大好きなので、このHouse Mouse Designsの可愛いイメージは、きっと彼女のツボに嵌ってくれると思います。
イメージは、再びコピックを使って色を付け、Twinkling H2Osで影とイチゴには光沢を与えるために色を塗っています。
多分、皆さんは私のチャレンジ好きは知っていることでしょう（笑）今回は、このカードにMojo Monday 85 (Mojo85)のスケッチを使っています。始めは、言葉のパネルの横に花の飾り1つだけ付けましたが、余り気に入らなかったので、もう1つ花の飾りと、デュードロップを3つ付けました＾＾。

House Mouse Monday Challenge #36

Hello everyone~
My friend, Joann led me use this beautiful House Mouse stamp 2 days ago when she came to stamp with me. I've colored HM stamps with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol many times, but this time I got out my comfort zone and decided to color with Copics! I was a little nervous about the result because I didn't think I had enough colors to color the image.... well, I think it turned out great for the frist attempt :)
I made the gatefold card to enter House Mouse Monday Challenge #36.
The sentiment was used from Friendship Flowers by There She Goes.

私の友人Joannさんが、2日前に遊びに来た時に、この素敵なHouse Mouseのスタンプを使わせてくれました。HMのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンを使って色を付ける方法を何度もしていますが、今回はちょっと変えて、コピックで色を付けてみました!イメージに対して、十分な色が無いと思っていたので、どういう仕上がりになるか少し心配でしたが、初めてにしては、まずまずの結果ではと思っています。
今回のHouse Mouse Monday Challenge #36にエントリーするために、ゲートホールドカードを作りました。
言葉は、There She GoesのFriendship Flowersセットの中からのスタンプを使いました。

CC217 -- Flower Soft...Great stuff!

I'm running a little behind for updating my blog. I've made a few cards but I just don't have a time to take and edit the photos and type words.

皆さん、こんにちは～
ブログの更新が遅れ気味です。カードは何枚か作ってあるんですが、写真を撮って編集したり、文字をタイプする時間がなかなか作れません(汗）

My friends came to stamp with me yesterday! What a fun!! Carolyn led me use this cute Magnolia Stamps and Flower Soft. I also got to color it with Copics during their visiting. After they left, I checked SCS Color Combination Challenge 217 (CC217) and I smiled :) The colors I used for the image were almost the same colors of the challenge!! Talkin' about a coincidence, lol.
Anyway, it was my first try for Flower Soft and I really love it! I'm already thinking to get different mixed colors so my friends can share with me next time :) :) :)

昨日は、友達がスタンプをしに、家に来てくれました。とっても楽しかったです!!Carolynさんが、この可愛いマグノリアスタンプと、Flower Softを使わせてくれたので、彼女達が訪問中に、コピックで色を塗りました。
彼女達が帰った後、SCSのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ217（CC217)をチェックした後、思わず二コリ＾ｖ＾　何とイメージに使った色が、チャレンジの色と同じだったのです。とっても嬉しい偶然でした(笑）
話は変わって、Flower Softは、今回初めて使ったんですが、かなり楽しいです。近いうちに違う色のミックスを購入しようと思っています。そうすれば、友達と又シェアできるしネ：）

皆さん、こんにちは～ KSS MondayとKS Crew チャレンジの日がやってきました。今回のチャレンジは、Connieさんが主催で、ずばり「Running with Scissors」。鋏を使って、カットしたイメージを最低1つはカードに使用するのがルールです。チャレンジに参加された方の中から、$50ドルのKSSの商品が貰えるチャンスもあります! KSのスタンプを使って、私たちと一緒に参加してみませんか? このチャレンジに関する詳細は、こちらで確認してください。




I cut the lily image with the scissors and adhered it with the dimensional adhesive. I also made the grass with the scissors. The embossed background was embossed on the white cardstock and inked with the chalk ink directly to the cardstock (DTP).
The sets I used for the card are multi step Lilies and 3 step Hibiscus for the sentiment.

今回のチャレンジでしたことは、鋏で、百合のイメージを切り取り、フォームステッカーで貼りました。そして、草の部分も鋏を使って作っています。エンボスしたバックグランドは、白のカードストックをエンボスし、チョークインクでDTP(紙に直接インクをつける）をしています。
今回のセットは、multi step Liliesと、言葉に3 step Hibiscus を使用しました。

OCCC & Copic Creations Challenge #3

Hello everyone~
I just found the new challenge site, "Copic Creations" and I, as a challenge & Copic lover, couldn't resist to participate this fun bi-weekly challenge :)

Copic Creations challenge No. 3 is featuring Puple Flowers/Lilacs. No problems! I love to color any flowers and purple is such a beatiful color to work with.
Since Our Creative Corner challenge (OCCC) is to make a mother's day card or project, I combined the challenge and made a mother's day card for my dear mother in law. I know she always check my blog (Hi Mom!) and this post will be spoiled the surprise, lol.

皆さん、こんにちは～ つい最近、新しいチャレンジサイト、「Copic Creations」を見つけました。チャレンジ好き、コピック好きの私にとっては、もってこいのチャレンジ、見逃すわけにはいけません（笑）。 Copic Creations チャレンジNo. 3は、紫の花、ライラックにフォーカスを置いています。ノープロブレム！花の色付けは大好きですし、紫ってとても綺麗な色なので、いつも楽しみながら使っています。 今回のOur Creative Corner チャレンジ(OCCC)は、母の日のカード、又は作品を作るチャレンジだったので、来週の母の日に向けて、義母へ母の日のカードを作りました。彼女は、いつも私のブログをチェックしてくれるので、この日記で、サプライズを台無しにしてしまいますが、仕方ありません（笑）



The images were stamped on the cream oval mat and stamped again on the cream scrap. After I colored the images on the scrap, I cut and adhered them on the images of the oval mat. To the extra dimensions, I added a little Twinkling H2Os and Glossy accents on the image.
I also decorated the inside to match the outside.
The images were from Flourishes and the sentiments were from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

イメージは、クリーム色のオーバルのパネルにスタンプし、別にクリームのスクラップにも、スタンプしました。スクラップに捺したイメージを、コピックで色を付けた後、オーバルのパネルのイメージの上に、重ねています。もう少し、凹凸を出すために、イメージ全体にTwinkling H2Osを少し付け、グロッシーアクセントを付けました。 中も外側にマッチするように、デコレートしました。 イメージは、Flourishesのセットを、言葉は、Kitchen Sink Stampsのセットを使っています。

I made this card for SCS Way to Use It 216, Basic Black (WT216). I love the challenge like this :) It's was so wonderful to go back to basic.
The new stamp, She's A Lady has the cute poodle and I just had to mix with another set, LOL Taglines to make the sentiment more realistic, lol.
For the challenge, I used the black cardstock, rhinestones, ink and pigment marker. All images were colored with Copic markers and I drew the lines for the panty hose with the black line marker. I peirced the top and bottom of the card and added the black rhinestones.

このカードは、SCSのWay to Use It 216、ベーシックブラック（WT216)で作ったものです。こういうチャレンジ大好きです。基本に戻るって、たまには必要ですよね。
新しいスタンプ、She's A Ladyは、セットの中に、可愛いプードルが入っていて、もう1つのセット、LOL Taglinesと組み合わせてみました。文が、もっとリアルな感じになりますよね(笑）。
チャレンジには、黒のカードストック、ラインストーン、インク、ピグメントマーカーを使いました。イメージは全て、コピックで色を付け、ストッキングのラインは、黒の極細マーカーで描いています。カードの上と下に、ピアシングをしてボーダーを作り、最後に黒のラインストーンを付けました。
