For my card, I simply cut the circles with circle die cuts and stamped the parts for the face and body. I also used Multi Step Owl & Autumn Moon set for the twig arms and attached the little bird I cut out from the designer paper (I believe it was My Mind’s Eye’s paper).
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are from Memento):
(Small button and Coals) 2nd – tuxedo black, 1st – london fog
(Large buttons) 2nd – grape jelly, 1st – lulu lavender
(Scarf) 1st – lady bug, 2nd – rhubarb stalk
(Carrot) 1st – cantaloupe, 2nd – tangelo, 3rd – potter’s clay
(Branches) 3rd – tuxedo black, 2nd – rich cocoa, 1st – desert sand
(Heart) – rhubarb stalk

ReplyDeleteThis is just sooo adorable, Maki! I love how you built your snowman with the circles...so fun!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, love how you built the snowman from circle dies! The added twig arms really finish him off. I had them out on my desk too for another card! The added bird is a great embellishment.
ReplyDeleteかわいすぎます、このスノーマン!!ブルーとパープルの組み合わせもとっても素敵♪
ReplyDeleteそう言えば、日本の雪だるまはなぜ2段なのでしょうね??(笑)
I love all the dimension on this card Maki! The twig arms are the perfect finishing touch. Your rich purples pop and the embossed DP behind him makes me feel like I'm in his snow flurry too.
