I had this cute stamp from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps for a while and finally got to ink it :P I used the sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 92 (MMSC92). The image was colored with Copic markers and the mat was sponged with ink and dauber. I wonder you notice that I made Oops! when I stamped the word “Oops!”… Isn’t that perfect! LOL!!

Edited: I submitted to this card to Crazy 4 Challenges 76 (C4C76)use *flowers* on a card/project.

Curtain Call {ACT70}

curtain call 70 spring cube lamps at styleathome

Happy Sunday everyone~

I hope your weekend has been wonderful so far. I know exactly what we are doing today…watching Daytona 500 on TV!! (it would be absolutely thrilling if we are in Daytona though)

Although it’s nothing related with NASCAR, I have one card for Curtain Call Color Challenge {ACT70} It is such a fun color combo to play! I hope you will have a time to join us :)

Here is my card with the color combo.

SONY DSC

I used stamps from Just For Fun Stamps. Their faux postage stamps & templates are so fun and easy to make a scene like this. After I stamped the frame, I used the matching template and just inked each color inside the frame with blending tools. Then I stamped the silhouette palm trees image. The saying was trimmed closely with scissors and attached on the ric rac tape ribbon. To finish off, I embellished with rhinestones.

I love the color combo but it was a little hard for me…I don’t know why…maybe my mojo or maybe there are similar colors in the combo… A good thing is after some struggling, I like how the card turned out :)

I used TSG Bit of Stardust for the heart image and Bucket of Love for the sentiment. The card was embellished with the lace trim and ribbon wit pearls. Although it is hard to see from the photo but I punched the bottom of the kraft mat with heart border punch.

You can tell I was totally inspired the mitten image, hehe. I used ginaK’s Warm & Wonderful set. I bought this set when it was available and totally missed the opportunity to ink them :P So, I’m so glad I finally get around to play this sweet set with those colors! I also used the StampTV Sketch Spotlight Challenge (STVSKSP9).

SketchSpotlightSTVSKSP9

SONY DSC

I colored the images with Copic markers. Can you see the little texture I did to make the image look more fuzzy? After I finished coloring, I dabbed tiny dots with the same Copic colors. Then I colored with colorless blender over the dots to look more blending to the original colors.
