CAS164 and TLC371

 

Hello there,

I played along a couple SCS challenges late evening! This one is for Clean & Simple Cards Challenge (CAS164) – Spotlighting. I have done Spotlighting technique before but never done with CAS style.

I used Just For Fun Stamps and stamped the tree image on the blue cardstock mat and it was dry embossed with Sizzix Textured Impressions Ornate Frames. The spotlighting was created with SB Nestabilities Circles and the bird was adhered on the circle mat with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment was stamped on the tag that was cut out with SB Ribbon Tags Trio die. To finish off, the ribbon was threaded and the white pearls were embellished.

The second card was used the technique from Technique Lover’s Challenge (TLC371) - Faux Pressed Flowers.

Just For Fun Stamps were also used for the card. The faux pressed flowers were created with Prima flowers and I layered the smaller flowers that were punched with the EK Success flower punch. The center of the flowers were embellished with brown pearls and added the glossy accent to secure the pearls. The bird was stamped, colored with Copic markers and adhered on the branch. The pink frame was created with Martha Stewart PATP swirling lace. The sentiment mat was cut out with SB fancy tags die and dressed with Candi metallic gems. To finish off, The pleated ribbon was embellished.

Tea With Friends

 

Hi there!

I tried the SCS Technique Lover’s Challenge (TLC370) for this card. The technique is called Faux Patina. You can create the beautiful embossed look using the technique.

I don't know if I achieved the right Faux Patina look but it was fun to make.

The digital image, Cookie's Tea was colored with Copic markers. The quote (digital) is from True Friend Sentiments set.
I made the paper flower with 2 different five petal punches and the flower center was created with the left over (negatives) of the lacey eyelet border I used on the card.

St. Patrick's Day

I made this card for St. Patrick's day and SCS Technique Lover's challenge 212 (TLC212). It was the ribbon frame technique, that was shared by a very talented stamper, Claire Brennan.

今日は、何か緑のものを身に付けて、アイルランド人のように振舞うお祝いですね。
このカードは、今日のセントパトリックデーにちなんで作りました。あとは、SCSのテクニックラバーチャレンジ２１２(TLC212)にも参加しました。今回は、とっても才能のあるスタンパー、Claire Brennanさんのリボンフレームのテクニックです。

I used Blessings from There She Goes for the perfect sentiment on the main panel. The sentiment, "Happy St. Patrick's Day" is from the set, called Holidays Galore by TSG. I added the yellow rhinestones for the gold coins -- just an extra touch for the holiday :)

メインのパネルに使った文章は、There She GoesのBlessingsです。「Happy St. Patrick's Day」も、TSGのHolidays Galoreからの言葉を使っています。黄色のラインストーンを、金貨を真似て付けてみました。今日のお祝いを、地味な感じで盛り上げてみたまでです（笑）

TLC203 Origami Box with Cover

Hello everyone~
This gift box is for Today's SCS Technique Lover's challenge (TLC203). It's Origami box with cover. I have made the origami box many times since I was a kid but I never made the ones with cover! How cool is it?

このギフトボックスは、今日のＳＣＳテクニックラバーチャレンジ（ＴＬＣ２０３）で作ったものです。折り紙の箱にカバーを付けてあります。折り紙の箱は、子供の頃から何度も作っていますが、カバーを付けた箱は作ったことがありませんでした。なかなか素敵ですよね～？
箱とカバーのチュートリアルを見るには、上のＴＬＣ２０３をクリックして下さい。私は、12" x 12" の紙を箱に1枚、12" x 5 1/4"の紙をカバー用に2枚使いました。

I used SU Haiku dp for for the box. The stamped images were colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. And I added Stickles. The all flowers were trimmed and mounted on the big label panel that was made with SU Top Note Bigz Sizzix die.
I don't know who I'm going to give the box to yet. Kimberly, my daughter's birthday is the end of this month and I'm thinking make a bunch of this for her friend's birthday goodies.

この箱には、Stampn' Up!のHaikuというパターンペーパーを使いました。スタンプのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付け、Sticklesを少し付けています。花は全て切り取った後、ＳＵのTop Note Bigzシジックスダイで作った大きなレベルのパネルに付けました。
このギフトボックスを誰に贈ろうかまだ決めていませんが、娘のキンバリーの誕生日が1月29日なので、お友達のプレゼント返し用に沢山作ってみようかと思っています。どう思いますか?

FS99 & TLC201 (TSG02, too)

Hello everyone~
It's good to be back stamping!! I made these cards in my NEW stamp room :) It was a good feeling to have my own space but I still need to remember where all the things are placed, lol.

The both cards are used the sets from There She Goes and they are going to released on January 1st!! Jessica did a fabulous job, again and I'm the lucky one who get to see and use her babies before the release day :) You could be the lucky one, too! TSG monthly challenge is going on right now (read this for the detail) and if your creation is used TSG set, you will be entered to win a new release stamp set of your choice! She will announce the winner of the challenge on January 1st.

スタンプをまたする事ができました!!今回のカードは、新しいスタンプルームで作ったカードです：）自分のスペースがあるって、やっぱりいいですね。とりあえず、物を何処に閉まったかを覚えないといけませんが(笑）

カードは両方とも、There She Goesからの１月１日に発売される新しいセットを使っています。Jessicaさん、またまた素晴らしい仕事をしてくれました。彼女の赤ちゃんとも言えるデザインを、発売日前に見たり、使ったりできるなんて、本当に私はラッキーです。でもラッキーなのは、私だけではありませんよ～。只今、TSGのマンスリーチャレンジが行われていて(詳しくは、こちら)、TSGのセットを使ってチャレンジに参加した方は、新しいスタンプセットを貰えるチャンスがあるそうです。１月１日に、Jessicaさんが当選者を発表する予定ですので、ＴＳＧのスタンプを持っている方は、是非頑張ってみてください！


I made the card for SCS Featured Stamper 99 (FS99) and TSG monthly challenge (TSG02). The featured stamper is Barbara (Stampfilled Dreams). She is a very talented stamper and I had a hard time to choose which one I wanted to case ;)

このカードは、SCS フィーチャースタンパー９９（FS99)とTSGマンスリーチャレンジ（TSG02)に作りました。フィーチャースタンパーさんは、Barbara（Stampfilled Dreams)さんです。とっても才能のあるスタンパーさんで、どのカードをケースしようか悩みました。

こちらが彼女のカードです。


I kept the layout and used the sheer ribbon like hers. I changed the colors, stamps, designer papers and small details. I loved and wanted to copy her clean white card base but I couldn't keep clean like it so I decided to use the different colors :) Instead of her punched layer, I just paper pierced the layer. The vase of the main image was paper pieced and the tree was colored with Copic markers and added the dimensions.

This stamp set is called "Welcome Home"

レイアウトと、使ったリボンは同じ素材のを使い、色、スタンプ、パターンペーパーや所々を変えました。彼女の綺麗な白のカードベースも素敵なので、真似をしたかったですが、何せ白を綺麗に保つのは苦手なので、結果違う色を使っています：）彼女が使ったパンチのレイヤーの代わりに、穴をポチポチあけました。メインの鉢は、ペーパーピースをして、木はコピックで色を付けた後、立体的に貼ってあります。

このスタンプセットは、”Welcome Home"というセットです。

The next card is forSCS Technique Lover's challenge 201 (TLC201) and TSG montly challenge (TSG02). The technique is Fun Funky Fold. It is a fun technique like the name :) Lynn provided the great tutorial ( just click TLC201 above and go to "edited to add a link to pdf").

The paper size for the fold is 6" x 6". The images of the heart panel were colored with Copic markers. The brown layer was punched with the decorative scalloped border punch for the bottom half and the decorative corner punch for the 2 corners on the top.

次のカードは、SCSのテクニックラバーチャレンジ(TLC201)とTSG マンスリーチャレンジ(TSG02)で作りました。これは、ファンファンキーフォールドというテクニックで、名前の通り、楽しいテクニックです。Lynnさんのチュートリアルもあります（TLC201をクリックして、edited to add a link to pdfに行って下さい）。

フォールドで使った紙のサイズは、６インチ x ６インチです。ハートのパネルに捺したイメージは、子ピックマーカーで色を付けました。茶色のレイヤーは、デコレイティブスカロップボーダーパンチを下半分使用し、上の角２箇所は、これもデコレイティブコーナーパンチを使いました。

The stamp set is called "LOL Taglines". Yes! All the sentiment are so funny and you will LOL!!
使用したスタンプは、”LOL Taglines”というセットです。名前の通り、全ての言葉が可笑しくて、思わず笑っちゃいます!アメリカンジョークなので、日本のお笑いの感じではないですが。。。

上の言葉を訳すと　「私の人生で、食べ物がセックスに入れ替わったら、自分でパンツをはくことさえもできないわ。」という感じですかね。要するに、食べ物がセックスよりも大好きだという意味だと思います。

Christmas Ornaments

SCS Technique Lover's challenge 199 is such a fun challenge! The technique is called "Tag Punch Starburst" and you can make this beautiful starburst shape with 2 tag punches. I used the tag punches from Stampin' Up! but I think EK Success sells the same thing. (SU! punches are munufactured by EK Success anyway)

ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１９９は、とっても楽しいチャレンジです！このテクニックは、｢タグパンチスターバースト｣というもので、２つのタグパンチを使って、この綺麗なスターパーストの形を作ることが出来ます。私は、Stampin' Up!のタグパンチを使いましたが、EKSuccessから同じ様なタグパンチが出ていると思います。（ＳＵ!のパンチも、製造社はEKSuccessだしね）

Before I tried the challenge, I saw the beautiful ornament, made by Janette (blessingX3). I basiclly cased hers and made the photo ornaments for my kids and Kimberly's friend.
You know what left after making the 3 ornaments??? 20 something bravo burugundy small tags!! I didn't want to waist the tags or keep them so I used another project :)

このチャレンジをする前に、Janette(blessingX3)さんが作った素敵なオーナメントを見つけ、基本的には、彼女のオーナメントを真似て、写真つきのオーナメントを子供達とキミーの友達に作りました。
３つのオーナメントを作った後、何が残ったと思いますか？？？２０個以上の赤ワイン色の小さなタグが残ってしまいました！！捨てるのも勿体無いし、取って置くのも嫌だったので、またもう１つのプロジェクトをする事に。。。

I made 22 ornaments like this for Trey's classmates. This origami folding is called "Shuriken"(the weapons Ninja use). Japanese kids make and play with them for fun. I thought it could be a great ornament.

Not only I used up the tags but also I eliminated the designer papers I was hoarding for a long time :) It was a very productive day!

結果、このようなオーナメントを、トレイのクラスメート様に２２個作りました。手裏剣が、オーナメントになっちゃいましたよ～。でも、こちらの子供達は忍者系が大好きなので、多分喜んでもらえるでしょう。その前に、これが手裏剣だって知らないだろうな～？
嬉しい事に、タグを使い切っただけでなく、ずっと使わずにしまって置いたパターンペーパーも見事になくなりました：）沢山の物を作り終えた日になりました！

Feeling Square...

Hello everyone~
I made 2 square cards this week. The both cards are 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". I love making the size because it's not too small or big... just right for making and mailing :)
I also used the Cuttlebug decorative corners for the both cards. I love them!! I think they are so beautiful and great addition for cardmaking....not too big, not too small ;)

今週は、正方形のカードを２つ作りました。どちらも、4 1/2" x 4 1/2"のサイズです。このサイズは、作るのにも送るにも、小さくも無く大きくも無いサイズなので、気に入っています。
今回は、カトルバグのデコレートコーナーも両方のカードに使いました。綺麗なデザインも個人的に気に入っていて、カードメイキングの飾りとしても、いい仕事をしてくれます。。。大きくも無く、小さくも無く(笑）

TLC195 and CC193

I combined 2 challenges - SCS Technique challenge 195 & Color Combination challenge 193. The triangle folding medalion is so fun to make! I hope everyone try it.
Did you notice anything unusal?
I didn't use any stamps or inks :0 I felt so strange not using them but I like how the card was turned out.

このカードは、２つのチャレンジ - ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１９５とカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１９３をしました。三角に折って組み合わせたメダリオンは、作っていてとっても楽しかったです。是非、皆さんも挑戦してみてください。
このカード、いつものカードとは違う点があります。お気づきですか?
スタンプ、インクを一切使っていません!　スタンプ、インクを使ってなくて、何だか変な気持ちですが、カードの出来上がりは気に入っています。

SC203

I made this card for SCS Sketch challenge 203. It is a very creative sketch as usual and I was so excited to play it. However, it took a longer time than I planned. Maybe because it was the first time for me to use the stamp set. I was struggling a little... I finally had a solution for the mittens -- paper piecing :)
The color combo was inspired by the colors on the designer paper - real red, old olive and baja breeze. I really love the combo for the Holiday cards.

このカードは、ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ２０３を使いました。毎回とってもクリエイティブなスケッチで、今回もとっても楽しみにしていました。でも、自分が思っていたよりも時間がかかってしまって、以外と苦労をしちゃいました。初めてこのスタンプセットを使ったのもあるのかな～。試行錯誤の末、手袋をペーパーピーシングする事で落ち着きました。
カラーコンボは、デザイナーペーパーの色からとっています。ホリデーカードにとってもお似合いの素敵な色あいで満足。

Tea For Two

Hello everyone~
The last weekend was so busy and I didn't even had a time to sit down to read my subscribed blogs. Now I have 500+ new blogs to read...... Maybe I need to drink green tea while I read them :)

Speaking of drinking tea, There She Goes released the new stamp sets, Tea for Two and Tea for Two Special Blend!! I'm a big coffee & tea drinker and I looooove the darling images from the sets! I'm sure you will see my creations with using the sets again and again and...again!

先週末は、とても忙しくて、いつも読んでいるブログも、座って読む時間もありませんでした。その所為で、５００＋の未読のブログがあります・・・・お茶でも飲みながら読もうかな。

お茶を飲みながらの続きになりますが、There She Goesから新しいスタンプセット、Tea for TwoとTea for Two Special Blendが発売になりました!!コーヒー、お茶大好き人間の私なので、この可愛らしいイメージも、勿論とっても気に入っています。再度、３度とこのセットを使った作品を必ず紹介する事でしょう！


The card is also for SCS Technique Lover's challenge 193. The challenge is to make a decorative circle medallion. I used Wrought Iron corner slot for the technique.
The teapot and cups were colored with Copic markers. I stamped the words diagonally on the background. I love making an original background with stamps! Sometimes it takes a time but I always enjoy the result :)

このカードは、SCSのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１９３も取り入れています。今回は、デコレートサークルメダリオンです。このテクニックで、Wrought Ironコーナースロットを使いました。
ティーポットとティーカップは、コピックマーカーで色を付けてあります。バックグランドは、一言ずつ斜めにスタンプを捺しました。オリジナルのバックグランドを、スタンプを使って作ることが大好きです。時々、時間がかかることもありますが、出来上って行く工程が楽しいですね。

I used the tea bag stamp from the set and made a pocket for a tea bag inside of the card .
このセットのティーバックのスタンプを使って、カードの中にティーバック収納用として、ポケットを作りました。

Halloween is next Friday!! This card will be the last Halloween card from me until next year because I have to shift my mood to make Christmas cards.
My kids, especially my DS is looking forward to going trick or treating. My DD is going to be a dead cheerleader and my DS is going to be Ninja (again!).
It's been so busy and it will continue next week also but I hope I will make a time to try some challenges here and there.

来週の金曜日は、とうとうハロウィーンですね。このカードは、私からの今年最後のハロウィーンカードにしようかと思っています。そろそろ、クリスマスカードのムードに切り替えないとな～。
子供達、特に息子は、トリックオアトリートに行くのを、すごく楽しみにしています。今年は（も）、娘は死んだチアリーダー、息子は忍者になる予定です。
最近、すごく忙しくて、この忙しさは来週まで続きそうです。でも時間ができたら、いくつかチャレンジに挑戦していきたいと思っています。

Autumn and Holiday Cards

Hello everyone~
Looks like the summer is over here in Texas, too (finally!!) My stampin mood is also sifted to summer cards to autumn & winter cards. This is a good thing because I need to start make more holiday cards, lol! I have 2 cards to show you this time.

ここテキサスも、夏が終わろうとしています(やっと!!）。私のスタンプモードも、夏のカードから秋、冬のカードへ変わってきました。ホリデーカードを早く作り始めないといけないので、それはそれでよい事なんですが(笑）今回は、２枚のカードを載せておきます。

FS86 -- Autumn

This is the card I made for SCS Featured Stamper 86. The featured stamper is Terry (Terrore3). I chose to case this card from her beautiful gallery.

I changed the colors, stamp set and embellishments. The color combo was cased from the one of Silke (sparklegirl)'s cards. Thank you, Silke for the inspiration. You are awesome!!
The maple leaf was stamped with rock 'n roll technique. I added the glossy accents for the dimension. It took forever to dry but I was patient enough somehow (usually not!). I attched the striped ribbon over the 2 stitcked ribbons to give more dimention. I really how it turned out.
The embossing folder adds such a elegant look for the card, don't you think?

これは、ＳＣＳのフィーチャースタンパー８６で作ったカードです。今回のフィーチャースタンパーは、Terry (Terrore3)さんです。彼女の素敵なギャラリーの中から、このカードをケースしました。

色、使用したスタンプ、エンベリッシュメントを変えてあります。色の組み合わせは、Silke(sparklegirl)さんのカードを参考にしました。Silkeさんは、色んなインスピレーションを与えてくれるすごいスタンパーさんです！もみじの葉は、ロックンロールのテクニックを使って捺し、グロッシーアクセントを付け、立体的にさせています。これが、乾くのにすごく時間がかかりました。でも、今回は我慢強く待ちました。(普段は、違います。。。）ストライプのリボンは、２本のステッチリボンの上に付け、立体的にさせました。
エンボスフォールダーを使った事によって、このカードがもっと豪華な感じに仕上がったと思います。

TLC188 -- Batik Holiday Card

This holiday card was used Batik technique. SCS Technique Lover's challenge 188 is "Batik-the colorwash way". I was supposed use the misterswith the deluted inks for adding the colors but unfortunately I didin't have any misters available at that time. So I used the sponges in place of the misters.

I used Baroque Motifs for the batik technique with handsome hunter and riding hood red reinkers. I used the sponges to put the colors on the watercolor paper. When you look at SCS TLC188 gallery, you can see the difference of the color blending with using the misters and sponges. When I get the misters, I definitely try this technique again!

After the tree image was stamped, I added the liquid applique, Stickles and dots with red gel pen on the tree.

このホリデーカードは、バティック(ろうけつ染め）テクニックを使っています。ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１８８では、バティックテクニックにインカーを薄めた液を霧吹きに入れ、スプレーをして色を付ける方法をチャレンジするはずですが、残念な事に霧吹きを切らしていました。なので、色を付ける為に、霧吹きの代わりにスポンジを使っています。

スワールのスタンプをクリアエンボスパウダーで、ヒートエンボスし、濃い緑色と赤のインカーを薄めた液を、スポンジに沁み込ませ、水彩紙に色を付けました。ＳＣＳ、ＴＬＣ１８８のギャラリーを見ると、霧吹きで色を付けた方法と、スポンジを使って色を付ける方法の結果が、明らかに違うのがわかると思います。霧吹きを購入した際は、またこのテクニックを使って何か作ってみたいです。

木は、スタンプを捺した後、リキッドアップリケとSticklesを付け、Sticklesが乾いた後、赤のジェルペンで、点々を付けました。

Faux Dry Embossing

Kids are off to school!! I'm loving to spend a quiet time :)
I even have a time to make a card and update my blog from this morning!

I made the card for Technique Lover's challenge 183. The technique for the challenge is Faux dry embossing. If you are not familiar with the technique, click the link I highlighted above. Lynn attched the great photos with the tutorial.

I stamped the butterfly and the flower with using the technique. I added the rhinestones on the butterfly. The center of the flower was cut out and I adhered the sentiment panel from the back of the flower. I also added the ribbons, photo corners, brads, and dots with the white gel pen.

今朝から、カードを作ったり、ブログを更新する時間が出来ました！

今回は、テクニックラバーチャレンジ１８３のカードを作りました。今回のテクニックは、フェイクドライエンボスです。このテクニックを知らない方は、上のリンクをクリックして下さい。Ｌｙｎｎ(リン）さんの写真付きの説明が載っています。

蝶々とお花は、このテクニックを使ってスタンプしてあります。蝶々には、ラインストーンを付けました。花の真ん中はくり抜いて、言葉のパネルを花の後ろから付けています。後は、リボン、フォトコーナー、ブラッドと、白のジェルペンで点々が書いてあります。

Origami Folding

I made this card for SCS's Technique Lover's challenge 179. Origami was a part of my childhood play. It's so fun that I still get to play for paper crafting!
The girl image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
このカードは、テクニックラバーチャレンジ１７９で作ったものです。折り紙は、子供の頃からよく好きで遊んでいました。今もペーパークラフトで、折り紙を使って楽しんでいます。
女の子は、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付けました。

Spring Song

2nd post for the day!!!
I must be really behind, lol. Well, the truth is my internet was very sloooooow for a last couple weeks. It took soooooo long to upload the photos.
Somehow, it went back to the normal speed today, and I thought I needed to update my blog before it gets slow again!!

まあ、かなり遅れているだけですが・・・(笑）実は、インターネットのスピードがここ２週間ものすご～く遅く、写真を載せるのにすご～く時間がかかっていました。
でも今日、何故かスピードが元に戻っていて、又遅くなる前にブログも更新しなくちゃ！！と、ややあせりながらタイプしてます。




I love this bird image!! I made the card for SCS's Technique Lovers' challenge 175. This image is the same set of this card I made earlier. The set is definitely the one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up! this year!!
この鳥のイメージ、とっても気に入ってます！！このカードは、ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１７５で作ったものです。このイメージは前に作ったこのカードと同じセットで、今年のStampin' Up!のスタンプセットの中で、私のお気に入りに殿堂入りしました！！

This technique is called "Chalk Pouncing". Here is the detail.
I put the blue and green pastels (chalks) on the oval white cardstock with tissue papers, and then stamped the bird image with VarsaMark. For making the image more precise, I put more colors on the image with pastels and q-tips.
I wanted to continue the softness, so I stamped the flowers and leaves with VarsaMark and then colored with the pastels. Then, I cut and mounted them on the card.
このテクニックは、｢チョークパウンシング」と呼ばれています。こちらに詳しい説明が載っているので参考してみて下さい。
オーバルの白のカードストックに青と緑のパステル(チョーク)をティッシュペーパーを使って色を付け、その上に、鳥のイメージをVarsaMarkを使って捺しました。もう少し、描写を細かくする為に、綿棒とパステルを使って、色を付けていきました。
この柔らかいイメージをカード全体に残していきたかったので、花と葉もVarsaMarkで捺した後、パステルで色付けしました。それを鋏でカットし、カードに貼り付けました。

This card is for SCS's Technique Lovers Challenge 174.
The challenge was "watrecoloring with re-inkers".
このカードは、ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１７４で作った作品です。
今回は、「インカーで水彩画をする」です。

I love watercoloring!! This is one of my favorite techniques. For this card, I watercolored with Stampin' Markers. I just scrubbed the markers on the plastic palette, and I picked the colors with the watercolor brush.
水彩画は、大好きなテクニックの１つ。このカードでは、インカーの代わりにStampin' マーカー(インプレスマーカーと同じ類）を使い水彩画をしました。プラスチックのパレットにマーカーをなぞって、水彩筆でマーカーの色を吸い取らせ、色付けしただけです。

I really like how it turned out! I admire Michelle Zindorf 's work, and I read every single post of her blog, Freedom In Creating. If you haven't read her blog yet, please check out!!
For this card, I used the resist technique from one of her tutorial.
出来上がりは、結構満足してます。いつも、ミッシェル・ジンドーフ（Michelle Zindorf)さんの作品に憧れていて、彼女のブログ、Freedom In Creatingの全てを読みつくしました。彼女のブログを読んでいない方は、是非チェックしてみてください！(写真付きの説明で、英語が苦手でもわかりやすいと思います。）
このカードでは、ミッシェルさんのチュートリアルの１つ、レジストテクニックを使いました。

After I watercolored the flower image, I colored with VarsaMark Marker the image and heat-embossed with clear emboss powder.
Then I stamped the word definition and sponged blue & green ink on it. I also used gray ink for shadowing and Signo white gel pen for highlighting.
花のイメージを水彩画した後、VarsaMark マーカーでイメージの上を塗り、クリアエンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスしました。
その後、ワードディフィ二ションのスタンプを捺し、青と緑のインクを全体にスポンジで色を付けました。花の陰には、グレーのインクをスポンジで色付け、ハイライトに白のジェルペンを使っています。

Technique Lover's Challenge 173

Happy Monday, everyone~
You know why I'm so happy? Because I had a chance to play Techinque Lover's Challenge (TLC) again!!
I love to learn the new techniques!! And today's Challenge (TLC173) was something I never did before.

皆さん、嬉しい月曜日がやってきました～
何で嬉しいかって?何故かと言うと、又テクニックラバーズチャレンジ（ＴＬＣ）に参加することが出来たからです。
新しいテクニックを学ぶのがとっても好きな私。今日のチャレンジは、今までにやっとことが無いテクニックでした。

TLC173 is ”making own shimmer/glimmer spray”. I read about the tutorial that was written by my friend, Miho (Tipo) for a while back, and I always wanted to try it one day. Finally, I'm glad I had a chace to play with it for the first time!

ＴＬＣ１７３は、「シマー/グリマースプレーを作ってみましょう」です。少し前に、美浦（Ｔｉｐｏ）さんが書かれたチュートリアルを読んだ事があって、いつもやってみたいと思っていましたが、やっと今回初めて試してみる機会ができました。

In SCS challenge, Beth used Perfect Pearl, water and reinker. Unfortunately, I didn't have Perfect Pearl....so I decided to use Pearl Ex, rubbing alcohol and reinker instead.

SCSのチャレンジでは、ベスさんはPerfect Pearl、水、インカーを使っています。残念ながら、私はPerfect Pearlを持っていないので、代わりにPearl Ex、消毒用エタノール、インカーを使いました。

To make the shimmer spray, I mixed
a little bit of flamingo pink Pearl Ex,
a littl bit of aztec gold Pearl Ex,
about 1 oz rubbing alcohol
and about 10 drops of Stampin' Up! cameo coral reinker
in the spray bottle.

このシマースプレーの材料：
Pearl Ex flamingo pink 少量
Pearl Ex aztec gold　少量
消毒用エタノール　約３０ｃｃ
Stampin' Up! cameo coral インカー　約１０滴

It's very hard to see the shimmer on the photo, but it's very pretty in real life.
写真では、光沢が見えにくいですが、実物はとても綺麗です。

For the background, I stamped Polka-dots stamp with VarsaMark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I sprayed the shimmer mixture. After the paper was dried, I stamped the butterflies and flowers to make patterned backgroud.
For the main panel, I also sprayed the shimmer mixture and stamped the butterfly. After I made the polka-dot butterfly on the different cardstock with the same process with the background panel, I cut and adhered on the main panel.

I added some prima flowers, ribbon and Stickles to finish the card.

バックグランドは、水玉のスタンプをVarsaMarkで捺した後、クリアーエンボスパウダーでヒートエンボスしました。そして、シマースプレーで全体的にスプレーし乾かした後、蝶々や花のスタンプをぜんたいに捺しました。
メインのパネルは、同じくシマースプレーでスプレーした後、蝶々のスタンプを捺し、別のカードストックに、バックグランドと同じ方法を使って作った水玉の蝶々を切取り、メインのパネルに貼り付けました。

仕上げに、プリマの花、リボン、そしてSticklesを加えました。
