Here we go....
This card was stamped with Springtime Babies. I used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 426 (SC426).
This one was stamped with the March Release, Flower Blocks 1. I used the sketch from SC427. I am very happy how it turned out! I just love this set!
At last but not least, I just made this card today for SC428 :) I used the digital stamps, You & Me. It is also sold as a clear stamp, HERE.

Catching Up
Happy Sunday and Superbowl Sunday for football fans!
I am one of those people who like to watch football games but I love watching all commercials for the Superbowl every year. I hope we have some good commercials this year again.
I am bad to forget posting some of the cards I've made and I have two cards to show you today. Both of them were already uploaded to the company blog and SCS but I completely forgot uploading here :p
The first card (above) was made for the Sketch Challenge from Splitcoaststampers (SC421). I used Cocoa's Heart from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps. The heart part of the image was paper pieced with the designer paper and I adhered the Cocoa after it was colored with Copic markers. The rest of the cards were designed with the matching designer papers and cardstock. To finish off, it was embellished with the white twine, button and rhinestones.
The next card was used Longstem Silhouettes from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps. I used the same kraft cardstock for the circle layers and background to keep clean and simple. It was also embellished with vintage brown twine to finish off. Although I used two different designer papers and added the decorated border edge on the bottom, I think the card still looks clean and simple, don't you think?
Well, I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Cards & SCS Challenges
Hello everyone~
I had a couple cards I want to show you today! I have submitted a couple challenges from Splitcoaststampers with them. All stamped images and sentiments of both cards are from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps.
The first card (above) was used Snow Special set and I used the color combination from Color Combination Challenge 405 (CC405). I stamped the snowman with light shade ink (Memento desert sand) and colored with Copic markers. My coloring skill are not that great but I like the soft look that lighter ink brings...It almost looks like it was water colored.
The next card was used Poinsettia set and used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 415 (SC415). I found a beautiful holiday paper and I cut it to the word "Merry Bright" was on the bottom of card. The image was colored with Copic markers and I added the ribbon to dress up the mat. To finish off, I simply stamped the greeting on the top of the card.
At last but not least, one more Christmas card! I actually made this one for a while ago but I never posted on my blog. I used Christmas Candle set. The card was used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 413 (SC413). The image was die cut with the coordinating die, Christmas Light Candle die. I fuss cut the greeting and added the tea roses for the embellishment.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.

Woman’s Shopper Birthday Card
Hello there,
I have one card to share with you for this post! I used the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge (SC379).
For this card, I played with Just For Fun Stamps. This one is called Woman Shopper Silhouettes 2. I have been asked to make some samples for JFF occasionally and this is one of my favorite March 2012 release! You can order them their online store or grab them at the JFF booth at the Stamp Conventions! Since I am dedicated to make the card samples for them, there is no needing to promote their stamps in my blog but Debby has sent me a generous amount of their stamps and I thought it would be nice to shout out! I will share other samples I’ve made for the last one year when I finish editing my photos :) I cannot say exactly when but I will try to get it done very soon!
In addition to the image, I also stamped one of the set, Sentiments 4 for the saying. The card was designed with SU Twitterpated and colored cardstock. The flower were created with Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms. To finish off, I embellished the card with the small buttons.

Check out the “Workshops” section for Houston, TX Workshop detail!! I sure hope you can come and spend a wonderful time with us :):)
I have a card for each of the new sets today :):)
The first card was used Multi Step Ivy set. I used the tea rose embellishments and gold pearls to create the focal design but it’s also so fun for mixing and matching with other KSS sets too! The greeting was created with Simple Sentiments.
I used the sketch (FTL107) from Clean & Simple Stamping.
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are from Memento):
(Ivy) 1st – new sprout , 2nd – bamboo leaves, 3rd – cottage ivy (1 x stamp off), repeat the 3rd step, 4th – cottage ivy
For the background ivy, I used the same ink for each step but stamped off once before stamping. Also no repeat the 3rd step. Can you see the background ivy is more subtle than focal one?
The next card was created with Multi Step Lil’ Elephant set. Isn’t that elephant beautiful and cute at same time?? I combined SCS Sketch challenge 297 (SC297) and Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C54).
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are from Memento unless it mentioned):
(Elephant) 2nd – london fog, 3rd – SU basic gray, 4th – tuxedo black, 1st – london fog (1 x stamp off), repeat 1st step
The last card was used Multi Step Ribbons with a Cause set. I’m soooo excited with the stamps…I have no doubt this set is going to be “Must-Have” set for many stampers & card makers!! You can change the ribbon colors for the different good cause and show your support :)
With the purchase of every Multi Step Ribbons with a Cause set, 15% of the proceeds will be donated to a different noteworthy charity every month. For more information about "Ribbons with a Cause Giving Back" program, please go HERE.
Since the Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming next month, I created the pink ribbon card. I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (TESC127). The words on the background were stamped from the same set and Vintage Words set.
These are the steps I did for each image:
(Ribbon) 1st – SU pink pirouette, 2nd – SU pretty in pink, 3rd – SU regal rose

KS Monday – Aug 2nd, 2010
Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone~
August, here we come!! The weather here is sure feeling like I’m in the oven :P My mother in law is leaving for Upstate NY for a couple months this week. Grandma Murphy is very sick right now and I was going to drive up there with her & my kids and we were going to fly back later without her….but unfortunately the economy right now is not allowed to do it….:( The good thing is that Aunt Sue is flying here tomorrow and drive back with my MIL. So, instead of escaping from this heat, I’m going to take care of all animals…including humming birds….that’s a quite responsibility…I may move all humming birds to my yard, hee hee.
Well, enough for that chit chat. Let me explain what I made for today’s card. I noticed that I haven’t use this beautiful set, 3 Step She Shells…this summer yet, so I decided to create a vintage look card, combining with 3 Step Letter From the Past for the background. The background was used Faux tearing technique. I used the torn masking for blocking each space and stamped the script image, then I sponged the tearing edges with SU sahara sand and soft suede. I repeated the process for the entire mat. After I stamped the shell images on the main mat, I used Copic markers and created the sand look with doodling dots and sponged the edge (again, with SU sahara sand and soft suede). The word from Vintage Words was stamped with SU chocolate chip.
This card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge 291 (SC291).
These are the steps I did for each image:
(big shell) 3rd – SU soft suede (1 x stamp off), 2nd – Memento desert sand, 1st – desert sand (1 x stamp off), repeat 1st step, 4th – soft suede (1 x stamp off), repeat 4th step, 5th – soft suede
(Small shell & star shell) 2nd – SU soft suede (1 x stamp off), 1st – Memento desert sand, 3rd – soft suede
To save 10% off your total purchase, just click HERE and it will take you straight to the store to shop. When you check out, enter MAKIKO10KSS at the coupon code box. Note - please type a capital "O" at the end of my name and a zero in the number for 10.
Be sure to check out what other KS Crews are cookin’ today!!
