Here is my card.

SONY DSC

I thought this color combo & the photo were clean elegant…so I decided to use the flower block stamp from Unity Kit of Month for my card. The image was stamped with VersaFine and I added purple and neutral color on the flowers with Fantastix. Then I masked the image and stamped the flourish image from Growing in Unity set with gray ink. The rests are pretty much what you see…attached the word mat and embellished with twine & pearls.

Curtain Call {ACT54}

curtain_call_54_lemonannie

Happy Halloween everyone!

It’s time for Curtain Call Color Challenge {ACT54}!! I hope you are having a wonderful & safe weekend. We went to two fall festivals yesterday. Kids have already gotten some candies that will last for a month…but I’m planning to take my son to Trick or Treat tonight. My daughter is not going…she thinks she is too old for that…makes me sad a little :( but I respect her decision.

OK, this week’s Curtain Call is a kind of monochromatic color scheme and I enjoy playing with those beautiful orange/rustic colors. So I made two cards :) I will look forward to seeing what you create! Please visit Stacey’s Stamping Stage for more detail about the challenge.

SONY DSC

This card was used  the sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (TESC132). The image was colored with Copic markers. To finish off, I embellished the card with satin ribbon & rhinestones. The stamps are from Unity Kit of Month set.

SONY DSC

I made this card with one layer only… I found the fun one layer sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL114) and I decided to make a quick fall card using the leaves from Unity. I think those colors work so wonderfully with the leaves!

Here is my take on the challenge.

With this challenge, I combined the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 298 (SC298).

I found the perfect designer papers and stamp for the color combo. The spools image from Unity Kit of Month was colored with Copic markers. To finish off, I used baker’s twine and pearls that were matched with the colors.

Plus, his RV (he is one of those guys who lives in RV while he is at job sites so that he can save money….more stamping supplies for me, lol) is parking at Yogi Bear’s Camp Resorts, so my kids are going to have a lot of fun for sure :):)

This card was submitted to Crazy 4 Challenges 43 (C4C43) – sketch challenge and Curtain Call Color Challenge (ACT36). Weekend Quick Cards – Jun 26th

Hello everyone~

It’s almost Sunday here and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend :) I made 3 quick cards for the weekend with combining some CAS challenges. I hope you will like them :)

SONY DSC

This card was created for CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge 9 (CWC009) – create a CAS card using a BLUE, YELLOW and NEUTRAL. I knew this cute image from Unity Stamps March Kit of Month would work wonderfully for the color combo! I paper pieced the umbrella and colored the rest of the image with Copic markers.

Stamps: lady with umbrella, cloud sentiment - KOM set (Unity Stamp Co.)
Paper: classic ivory (Flourishes), tempting turquoise (SU), designer paper (KI Memories)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko) Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon

The next card was used the sketch from SCS Clean & Simple challenge (CAS72). I was kind of inspired the color from the card too….so, I should claim it “casing” ;)

Again, I used the same Kit of Month from Unity Stamps and colored the gumball machine with Copic markers. The lid was stamped with riding hood red ink and adhered on the image. I used some scraps designer papers from my left over stash. The inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment that coordinated with the one on the card front. I love the cute sentiment :)

Stamps: gumball machine, sentiments - KOM set (Unity Stamp Co.)
Paper: classic white (Flourishes), designer paper (WRMK)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), riding hood red (SU), Copic markers
Accessories: rhinestones

SONY DSC

OK, this is the last one…for this card, I used the sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL96). The fern images from Verve Stamps were simply & randomly stamped on the white cardstock with rich razzleberry ink and sponged the edge with always artichoke ink. I embellished with scalloped edge ribbon and pearls to complete the card.

Stamps: Forever in Our Hearts (Verve Stamps), Beyond the Basics (SU)
Paper: classic white (Flourishes), rich razzleberry (SU), kraft (PTI)
Ink: rich razzleberry, always artichoke (SU)
Accessories: ribbon, pearls

Well…that’s it for today from me. Thank you for stopping by.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Weekend Quick Cards – Jun 19th

SONY DSC

Hello everyone~

I made a couple quick cards for the weekend…this Weekend Quickie thingy is becoming my new stamping routine. I hope you like it…and thank you for taking your time to look at my work :)

The card above is submitted to Susan’s One-Layer Wednesday challenge (OLW9) – Use Flourish and SCS CAS challenge 71 (CAS71) – Things That Fly. All stamps were used from Unity Stamp Co. and the butterfly was colored with Copic markers. The blue background was just sponged inside of the rectangle that was masked with Post-It.

Stamps: butterfly, sentiment - KOM set, flourish – Growing with Unity (Unity Stamp Co.)
Paper: classic ivory (Flourishes)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, paris dusk, summer sky (Tsukineko) Copic markers
Accessories: pearls

SONY DSC

The next card is just perfect for Dad who loves to ride :):)

I used the sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL95) and also combined with CAS-tastic Wednesday challenge 8 (CWC008). The motorcycle from SU was colored with Copic markers. I matched the Harley-Davidson designer paper and embellishment. They were actually hand picked by my hubby when he went to Hobby Lobby a while ago :)  I think the sentiment “thank you DAD for being you” from Unity Stamp Co. is wonderful for the image, don’t you think?

Stamps: Motorcycle (SU) sentiment – KOM (Unity Stamp Co.)
Paper: classic ivory (Flourishes), pumpkin pie (SU), designer paper (EK Success)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), pumpkin pie (SU)
Accessories: Harley-Davidson 3D sticker, silver pearls
Tools: border punch

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful Father’s Day weekend!!

Weekend Quick Card – Jun 12th

SONY DSC

Hello everyone,

I hope your weekend is wonderful so far…I went to my husband’s family reunion today and had a wonderful visit. It’s great to catch up the family members at least once a year…I wish my family could do with my family once a year like that…I just need time and money at the same time, lol.

Anyway, my weekend was little busy so I decided to try some challenges with quickie cards :)

The first card (on top) is used the color combo from The Color Throwdown (CTD96) and combined with CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge 7 (CWC007) – Create a CAS card using button.

The stamps are Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Company (don’t know which month…but it’s one of my favorite KOM sets!) and I colored the flowers with Copic markers. I simply attached the yellow & blue small buttons.

Stamps: KOM set (Unity Stamp Co.
Paper: classic white (Flourishes), cool caribbean, pumpkin pie (SU)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko) Copic markers

Paper: classic white (Flourishes), bashful blue, certainly celery (SU)
Ink: bashful blue, certainly celery, night of navy (SU)

CC260 -- Growing in Unity

Hello everyone~
This card was used the color combo from SCS Color Combination 260 (CC260) - Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Always Artichokes and any neutrals.
The dessert option is to create a border with nesties shapes!

I don't have any Crushed Curry so I used Summer Sun instead. I really love the colors together so I'm very curious how the card would be turned out with Crushed Curry ;)
As the dessert option, I used Label Eight die (largest one) and created the curvy borders. I did paper piercing the curvy edge.

The stamps are Growing in Unity from Unity Stamps. It is such a beautiful set to play!!

The swirly bird image was stamped with rock 'n roll technique and I layered the body part with dimensional adhesives. The pearls, ribbon and button were added to finish the card.

Here is another take on CC260. The sketch was based on FTL80 from Clean and Simple Stamping blog. The stamps are from January KOM set from Unity Stamps. The sentiment is from Simply Home by Ippity...thanks Heather:) Again, I used Nestabilities Label Eight to create the border.

[Card 1]
Stamps: Growing in Unity (Unity Stamps)
Paper:
basic gray, summer sun, always artichoke dp (SU), classic ivory (Flourishes)
Ink:
basic gray, summer sun, always artichoke (SU)
Accessaries: ribbon, button, silver pearls
Tools: Nestabilities label eight, piercing tool

[Card 2]
Stamps: January KOM (Unity Stamps), Simple Home (Ippity)
Paper:
basic gray, always artichoke dp (SU), classic white (Flourishes)
Ink:
basic gray, summer sun, always artichoke (SU)
Accessaries: ribbon, button
Tools: Nestabilities label eight, corner rounder

Thank you for stopping by.
