It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC64)! It is the end of the month so we have a challenge hostess! This week Karen Wallace is our host! Karen is challenging us to vintage styled cards! Everyone sort of has in their own minds what vintage means to them, so without giving you any direction, just create a card that defines a vintage style to you! We would love to see what you create! Also, just wanted to remind everyone that while each FTTC challenge has a weekly winner, we also draw a monthly winner from all of the FTTC for that month. So, if there was a challenge in April you still would like to participate in, there is still a chance to win! You can play as often as you like! Check out FTTC61, FTTC62, and FTTC63! The weekly and monthly winners will be announced next week!
OK, my favorite vintage style is shabby chic. I love the elegant and warmth feel that the shabby chic brings to my heart. So, I'm trying to achieve that look using the beautiful new set, Spring Bouquet. I stamped the image on the classic ivory mat with Memento rich cocoa and colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol (Gamsol magic technique). I love this coloring method when I want to achieve for the softer look. I also water colored for shading with Twinkling H2Os chestnut brown. The edge of the mat and pastel blue layer were distressed with distressing tool and sponged with inks. They were also machine stitched. Next, I attached the vintage photo corners, that were dry embossed with Cuttle Bug embossing folder and DTPed (colored directly with ink pad) before attaching. The pearls were embellished on the vintage corners.
Now, check out what the rest of FOF have created for the challenge!!
Stamps: Spring Bouquet (Flourishes)
Paper: classic ivory (Flourishes), cool caribbean (SU)
Ink: Memento rich cocoa, desert sand, VersaMagic gingerbread (Tsukineko), Prismacolor pencils, Twinkling H2Os chestnut brown
Accessories: pearls, thread
Tools: CB vintage die, embossing folder, distressing tool, sewing machine
Thank you for stopping by.

I LOVE vintage, maybe because I am too! You have captured that vintage Victorian look to perfection. I like how the corner punches frame your creation.
