Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday everyone~

For today’s card, I used my new favorite set, Multi Step Cowboy Boots and my all time favorite, Multi Step Kittens & Pup! Don’t you think they are wonderful together?? I stamped the puppy first, then masked the image and stamped the cowboy boots. The shadows are created with sponge daubers, Fantastix and Copic markers.

I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 133 (TESC133).

Curtain Call {ACT54}

curtain_call_54_lemonannie

Happy Halloween everyone!

It’s time for Curtain Call Color Challenge {ACT54}!! I hope you are having a wonderful & safe weekend. We went to two fall festivals yesterday. Kids have already gotten some candies that will last for a month…but I’m planning to take my son to Trick or Treat tonight. My daughter is not going…she thinks she is too old for that…makes me sad a little :( but I respect her decision.

OK, this week’s Curtain Call is a kind of monochromatic color scheme and I enjoy playing with those beautiful orange/rustic colors. So I made two cards :) I will look forward to seeing what you create! Please visit Stacey’s Stamping Stage for more detail about the challenge.

SONY DSC

This card was used  the sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (TESC132). The image was colored with Copic markers. To finish off, I embellished the card with satin ribbon & rhinestones. The stamps are from Unity Kit of Month set.

SONY DSC

I made this card with one layer only… I found the fun one layer sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL114) and I decided to make a quick fall card using the leaves from Unity. I think those colors work so wonderfully with the leaves!

The Curtain Call Crew has samples to show you today, too, so make sure you stop by to see:

Hello and happy Kitchen Sink Monday, everyone~

It’s less than 2 weeks until KSS Workshops in Houston, TX. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is anxiously waiting that weekend :):) I cannot wait to meet you all and have a wonderful KSS time!! If you are still interested in, HERE is the details and class registration.

Before September is over, I wanted to mention that “September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month” with today’s card. Please visit Ovarian Cancer National Alliance and get to know about the cancer and why we need to spread our word of the awareness. If you are a woman, you need to aware of this cancer. Just like Breast Cancer, early detection of ovarian cancer saves women’s lives.

I used Multi Step Ribbons for a Cause and these are the steps I did for each image:
(Ribbon) 1st step – SU bashful blue, 2nd step – SU marina mist, 3rd – SU taken with teal

I also submit this card to these challenge:

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #129 (TESC129)

I have a card for each of the new sets today :):)

 SONY DSC

The first card was used Multi Step Ivy set. I used the tea rose embellishments and gold pearls to create the focal design but it’s also so fun for mixing and matching with other KSS sets too! The greeting was created with Simple Sentiments.

I used the sketch (FTL107) from Clean & Simple Stamping.

These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are from Memento):
(Ivy) 1st – new sprout , 2nd – bamboo leaves, 3rd – cottage ivy (1 x stamp off), repeat the 3rd step, 4th – cottage ivy

For the background ivy, I used the same ink for each step but stamped off once before stamping. Also no repeat the 3rd step. Can you see the background ivy is more subtle than focal one?

The next card was created with Multi Step Lil’ Elephant set. Isn’t that elephant beautiful and cute at same time??  I combined SCS Sketch challenge 297 (SC297) and Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C54).

These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are from Memento unless it mentioned):
(Elephant) 2nd – london fog, 3rd – SU basic gray, 4th – tuxedo black, 1st – london fog (1 x stamp off), repeat 1st step

The last card was used Multi Step Ribbons with a Cause set. I’m soooo excited with the stamps…I have no doubt this set is going to be “Must-Have” set for many stampers & card makers!! You can change the ribbon colors for the different good cause and show your support :)

With the purchase of every Multi Step Ribbons with a Cause set, 15% of the proceeds will be donated to a different noteworthy charity every month. For more information about "Ribbons with a Cause Giving Back" program, please go HERE.

Since the Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming next month, I created the pink ribbon card. I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (TESC127). The words on the background were stamped from the same set and Vintage Words set.

These are the steps I did for each image:
(Ribbon) 1st – SU pink pirouette, 2nd – SU pretty in pink, 3rd – SU regal rose
