Color Throwdown 100th Challenge Celebration!!!

The time finally came!!! The Color Throwdown is celebrating the 100th challenge today!! Woohoo!! I’m so excited to be a part of the team for a month of July and participate the first challenge as a guest is 100th challenge!! What could be better than that?!

For the 100th challenge, not only you will get to play the wonderful color combo but you also have a chance to be a winner for the fabulous prize that each sponsor (31 companies total!!) is offering in the CTD designers’ and guest designers’ blogs.

To enter the challenge, all you're going to have to do is 1) create a card or other paper crafted project using the colors specified (it shows on the below….remember, you don't require exact colors... just use whatever you have that is similar), Then 2) you'll need to upload a DIRECT link to your creation (we're going to have to be picky about this for the Celebration... links that don't go directly to your creation will be deleted!) using the Inklinz widget on the Color Throwdown blog. Next, 3) start commenting!  Each blog link for the all CTD designers and guest designers are on the bottom of the post. So, be sure to visit them and leave a comment as well. The more you comment, the greater your chances are to win (but only one per blog, please!)

The deadline to enter will be 11:59 pm on Monday, July 12th so you'll have plenty of time for your creation and comments! Winners will all be randomly drawn.

Here is my card with the color combo.

 

All stamps are from Kitchen Sink Stamps.  I found the designer paper that matched with the color combo…I love this kind of things happen from time to time :):) After that, the card was quickly designed using the matching colored elements.

 

These are the steps I did for each image:
(roses) 1st – SU pink pirouette, 2nd – SU regal rose, 3rd – SU real red (1 x stamp off), 4th – SU real red

(leaves) 1st – SU certainly celery , 2nd – SU wild wasabi (1 x stamp off), 3rd – wild wasabi

 

Stamps: 3 Step Hearts & Roses - “Roses and the word ‘for you’, Whole Family - “Happy”, Word of Comfort & Joy - “So” (KSS) 
Paper:  classic white (Flourishes), baja breeze, real red, certainly celery (SU), designer paper (MME)

TSG Sneak Peek- Day 1 & Blog Candy!!

It's almost February! It means There She Goes is going to release the THREE new stamp sets on Sunday, February 1st!! It also means it's the time for the sneak peeks :)

もう直ぐ、2月。2月に入るということは、、There She Goesから、アメリカ時間の2月1日日曜日に、新しいスタンプセットが3つ出るというです!!新しいスタンプが出るということは、スニークピークの期間がやってきたということです(笑）

このスニークピークに合わせて、デザインチーム全員が、Jessicaさんからミニセット(5ドル）1セットをギブアウェイに頂きました!!このブログキャンディーにエントリーするには、ここにコメント(1回だけでお願いします）を残してください。土曜日にRandom.orgを使って、当選者を選び、PCP There She Goesグループで行われるリリースチャットパーティーの間(西海岸時間７－９ｐｍ）に発表する予定です。(当選者が発表される時に、チャットルームにいる必要はありません）

あと、もう1つだけ。。。2月のＴＳＧゲストデザイナーをJulie Laceyさんが担当する事になりました。彼女のスタイルが大好きなので、とっても嬉しいです。Julieさん、宜しく～(て、日本語で書いてもわからないか。。。）



Back to the card.... don't you love this adorable squrrel ??? The set is called "You're So Punny!" It's a colaboration of Jessica and Holly (yeah both so talented!!) All the images are stickin' cute and the sentiments are just funny (I used "Awww... Nuts" for the card)!! I can tell you it's so easy and fun to color!!
For this card, I used Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also added Twinkling H2Os a little ;)

I combined 2 challenges.
The one challenge is TSG Montly Challenge (TSG03) "Going Dimensional"- to add the dimension to your card. If you are up for the challenge, upload your work to SCS with keyword TSG03 by Friday. The bonus is -- if you use TSG stamps for the challenge, you have a chance to win one of the brand new released sets!!
As you see, I used the dimensionals for the squirrel. I really like how it turned out. The dimensional gives the squarrel a life (I don't want to happen IRL, lol) I colored the every layers, too! I just like to do it - looks more completing, don't you think?

The other challenge is the one year anniversary of the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I used the sketch from Stephanie (TECC52SH) {{hi Steph!}} The sketch went so well with the stamps and I'm just happy with it :)

それでは、カードの話に戻します＾＾このイメージ、とっても可愛いでしょ?　このセットは、「You're So Punny!｣というセットで、JessicaさんとHollyさんのコラボレーションです(才能のある2人ですね～本当）。イメージ全てがとっても可愛らしく、一緒に面白い言葉(このカードでは、Awww... Nutsを使っています）も入っています。カラーリングも、簡単に楽しくできますよ。このカードでは、私はプリズマカラーペンシルとをモルツベン使いました。それと、Twinkling H2Osも少し使っています。

今回、2つのチャレンジにも挑戦しました。
１つは、TSGのマンスリーチャレンジ（TSG03) 「Going Demensinal｣－ディメンション(ポップアップ）を使って、カードを作るです。もし、このチャレンジに参加するなら、金曜日までにSCSのギャラリーにアップロードし、キーワードTSG03を入れておいてください。TSGのスタンプを使った方の中から、抽選で新発売のスタンプセットの中から1つをプレゼントするそうです。
このカードも、見てわかると思いますが、リスをディメンションさせています。ポップアップさせた感じが結構好きで、リスに動きがでますよね。(本当に動いちゃったら怖いけど。。。）レイヤーさせた全てに同じ様に色を塗っています。ただ、好きなだけで別にこれといった理由はありませんが、自分で完成した満足感が出るだけです。

もう1つのチャレンジは、the Taylored Expressions カップケーキチャレンジ1周年記念スケッチチャレンジです。私のは、Stephanieさんのスケッチ（TECC52SH)のを使わせていただきました。有難う、Steph!このスケッチに、イメージがちゃんとはまってくれたので満足しています。
