TSG29 -- In Stiches
Happy Friday everyone~
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, isn't it? My kids are out of school next week...I hope it's a good thing, lol. We are also heading to Dallas for my daughter Kimberly's cheer competition this weekend so I'm kind of glad they are not going to school on Monday at least, hee hee.
Anywho, I have a card I made for There She Goes challenge 29 (TSG29), suggested by this week's Trendsetter of the week, Jackie. She is challenging us to use stitching into a card/project. When you finish your challenge project before while the challenge is open, please leave your name and the link of your project to Mr. Linky of the challenge post over TSG blog. You will have a chance to win $5 gift certificate to spend in TSG Store!!
I used zig zag machine stitching on the red designer paper. The fireplace was created with Home Sweet Home set and HSH Holiday Additions set. The image and sentiment were stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with Copics. The fire and the stockings were placed with dimensional adhesives. The ribbon and pearls were embellished with the sentiment mat.
Stamps: Home Sweet Home, HSH Holiday Additions (TSG)
Paper: riding hood red, old olive (SU), classic ivory (Flourishes), designer papers (MME)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, new sprout, rhubarb stalk (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon, pearls, thread
Tools: Nestabilities, border punch, distressing tool, sewing machine
Thank you for stopping by.
