TSG Sneak Peek -- Hunny Bunnies/Bear Hugs
Hello everyone~
It's a final day of There She Goes March Sneak Peek and Blog Hop Challenge!! If you came from Julie's blog, you are just in the right place. If not, you may want to visit to TSG blog for the hopping order and the challenge detail.
We have the sneak peek for two sets - "Hunny Bunnies" and "Bear Hugs". They are both adorable and fun to play with.
"Hunny Bunnies" is not only a great Easter stamp set but it is also versatile enough that you can use all year long! The bunny was created especially so that it can hold an assortment of different items. Each of these items was designed so you can stamp them on a separate piece of paper, color as desired, cut out and paper piece right onto the bunny! This set includes 33 stamps and will sell for $15.
Before we know it, Easter is coming around the corner!! So, I just had to make the Easter card with a matching gift bag to put Easter candies. (well, they don't have to be candies but there is no Easter without jelly beans in my house, lol!) All images were colored with Copic markers and the bunny heads, feet and eggs were adhered again with dimensional adhesives.
The layout of the card is the sketch from Mojo Monday (MOJO127)...I changed it a little ;)
The gift bag was created using the Nestabilities Label die. I just sandwitched the brown paper bag - small size (trimmed to 3 1/2") with using strong adhesive tape.
See the back of the bag?? Isn't the cute behind or what? I bet you can't help smiling :):)
"Bear Hugs" is a great mini set that works in addition to the Hunny Bunnies. The bodies on both the bunny and teddy are the exact same so that the images that they can hold are interchangeable! You will love creating projects with this adorable teddy bear! This set includes 20 stamps and will sell for $7.
OK, how about the quickly-made-card? I colored the images with Copic markers and added the little bear on the brown bear with dimensional adhesives. The whole image was again adhered on the blue strip with dimensional adhesives. I just love the sentiment from the set :)
- So, do you wanna win Hunny Bunnies / Bear Hugs sets?
Here’s what you need to do - go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Hunny Bunnies / Bear Hugs post. Thank you ~
Hello everyone~
It's a second day of There She Goes March Sneak Peek and Blog Hop Challenge!! If you came from Julie's blog, you are in the right place. If not, you may want to visit to TSG blog for the hopping order and the challenge detail.
Today's sneak peek is about the set, Make A Wish. Jessica had been asked to create another birthday theme set and she gathered the requests TSG fans wanted to have in the set during the TSG Friday Night Chat. Well, this set is what she came up with. I think she's out done herself again! It has everything you need for birthday and more!! The set includes 65 different stamps (that's right, 65!!) and will sell for $25.
The card above was used 8 different stamps - 4 images and 4 sentiments...I stamped the card base with 3 different "happy birthday" stamps. Aren't they wonderful or what?! All images were colored with Copic markers and added some rhinestones and white highlights. It's definitely a fun birthday invitation :):)
For the next card, I wanted to show you that how this set was versatile!! You can easily make a special anniversary cards like this with mixing the numbers! For this card, I stamped the all images and colored the shades with gray Copic marker (C01) The cake, numbers and banner were adhered with dimensional adhesives. The embossed background was DTPed with Brilliance starlite silver ink. I recommend to heat dry well after ink Brilliance...My finger tips turned all silver after finishing the card, lol.

Flourishes Birthday Blog Hop!!
Hello everyone~ It's a special celebration for Flourishes!! The Flourishes owner, Jan Marie is turning a year older and we'd thought to celebrate with the first Birthday Blog Hop on Thursday (today) and Friday (tomorrow)!!
In addition with the blog hop, we are featuring a special stamp set in honor of her day! Let Them Eat Cake was designed by artist Becky Fleck with a Marie Antoinette flair and it's available now in the Flourishes Store!
So, if you hopped here from Christine's blog, you are in the right place. If you not, you may want to visit Flourishes Blog to start the "Hopping Through the Decades"!!
Need sun shades? LOL. I wonder if you can guess what decades my card is represented... If you guessed it was 60's, I did a good job :) I've always loved the 60's psychedelic arts & colors and I took my inspiration from some of these groovy and psychedelic posters. I love using colors and I had so fun with creating this card although the color combo turned out so bright and a way outside my comfortable bubble :):)
For the main mat and background were created using the resist technique. The glossy cardstock was filled with the beautiful rectangle image (the largest rectangle) using VersaMark. Then using Kaleidacolor (Spectrum) ink and the brayer, I inked the stamped cardstock, rolling the brayer diagonally. Another image from the set also stamped on the pink with the white pigment ink mat. The bottom part of the cupcake was colored with Copics and the top part and the sentiment were stamped with the same Kaleidacolor. The turquoise ribbon, purple button, pearls including the one for the cherry were added to complete the card.
So, Want to win Let Them Eat Cake set?
All you have to do is to leave a comment on all 14 of our designers' post this Thursday and Friday. Once you leave a comment on all 14, go back to the dedicated post of Flourishes blog and you just need to leave a comment saying, "I hopped through the decades with Jan Marie!" Two names will be drawn on Saturday at 12 pm CST from all those who participated. The winners will receive their very own set of Let them Eat Cake along with some other goodies!
Now head over to Leslie's blog to continue the hop!
Stamps: Let Them Eat Cake (Flourishes)

Today's sneak peek is for the two Mini Sets - "Dance" *Stamps For A Cause*and "Beautiful Spring"!! Each set will sell for $7 (Wow!).
"Dance" *Stamps For A Cause* set is so special to Jessica. It was created in honor of her friend, Linda who passed away in early January. Linda's life was taken from us all to soon because of a disease called Amyloidosis. $4 from every Dance mini set sold will be donated to the Amyloidosis Support Group in Linda’s name. This is categorized as a mini set but the images are endless possibilities. It is such a beautiful set.
To create the 3D flowers, I first stamped each image and colored with Copics. Then I cut them out and creased each petal and leave before layering them. And I attached the pearl on the center of the 3D flower. I love how they were turned out and that were not hard at all!!
"Beautiful Spring" set has wonderful Tulip and Daffodil images and you will enjoy coloring them even it's still snowing outside ;) There are also some wonderful sentiments included in this mini set. I just love those spring flowers that make me want winter is over right now, lol.
For the flower image, I simply stamped and colored with Copic markers and layered just flowers again. I used the pretty background dp from DCVW. To complete the card, I attached the ribbon with the button and added the little butterflies with pearls like they were flying around the flowers.
- So, do you wanna win both of mini sets?
Here’s what you need to do - go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their mini sets post. FTTC55 -- Iwona's Flower Challenge
Hello everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC55)!! It is the last Tuesday of the month so we have a guest challenge host! This month's guest is Iwona Palamountain (Chupa). Iwona lives in Australia! She is challenging us to use flowers! Whether they are printed flower designer papers, stamped, punch created, or store bought, put some flowers on your card this week! We would love to see what you create!
A GREAT NEWS!! The NEW Flourishes store is opened now!!! I know you will love the new beautiful home page :):)
My card for the challenge was used I Love Roses set and the sentiment was from Sweet Violets set. I stamped each rose image on classic ivory mat with Memento rich cocoa using masking technique. Then I sponged the stamped mat with Memento inks (tangelo and cantaloupe). The main image was also stamped with rich cocoa and colored with Copic markers.
The brown dp strip was from BG Nook & Pantry dp and it was layered on the orange strip that was punched with the decorative border punch. For the finishing touch, I added the pearls.
The layout was based on the sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping blog (FTL78). I'm a kind of hooked on their sketches :):)

My card was used the new set Aim For The Clouds. As you see, I used the red and blue rhinestones for the challenge. The both balloons were paper pieced with the fun designer papers from DCVW. The clouds were colored with PTI fresh snow pigment ink and the blender pen. I just dubbed the tip of the pen on the ink pad and soaked the ink color before painting the clouds. The coloring method worked so wonderfully with kraft paper!

FTTC54 -- All About Me
Hello and happy Mardi Gras, everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC54)! This week Dee Jackson is our host! Dee is challenging us to " All About Me". Use what you love and what makes you happy!! Use your favorite colors, stamps, layout, and embellishments! Whatever ROCKS your world! We would love to see what you create!
I LOVE drinking tea and coffee more than 3 meals a day, lol. This addiction led me to start collecting tea cups and pots stamps too!
Of course I had to have this newest set, Let's Have Tea from Flourishes, hee hee.
I stamped the tea pot image on the classic white cardstork and colored with Copic markers. Then it was cut out and adhered on the designer paper from Basic Gray Nook & Pantry that was cut with Lattice Pendant die. The celery green and so saffron yellow panel were embossed with CB embossing folders. To complete the card, I attached the satin ribbon and pearls.
I added the holder to insert a teabag inside of the card. The opening was cut with Spellbinder die. The holder is also great for a giftcard :):)
Stamps: Let's Have Tea (Flourishes)
Paper: classic white (Flourishes), certainly celery, so saffron (SU), Nook & Pantry (BG)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessaries: pearls, satin ribbon
Tools: Spellbinders Lattice Pendant, Nestabilities, CB embossing folders, bow maker

KS Monday -- Feb 15th, 2010
Happy Monday and it's another Kitchen Sink Monday for you! Today is President's day in the U.S. and I needed this holiday so much today. I had more errands than usual last week and I need a little rest :p
Today's card was inspired by Mardi Gras :):) Living in East Texas and half of my husband's family live in Louisiana, Mardi Gras celebrations are everywhere here right now!! Fat Tuesday is tomorrow and I'm sure there will be the bigger party than ever in New Orleans since the Saints won last Sunday! Who Dat! Hee hee.
I used 3 Step Butterflies set and Simple Sentiment for the word "Celebrate". I mainly used white and those colors - purple, yellow, green as an accent color so I can keep the clean look. The background was embossed using the CB embossing folder and DTPed with chalk inks. The mat of the word "Celebrate" was punched with the border punch, that was taken from Lisa's great idea :):) The same border punch was also used for the purple card base.
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Memento) :
(purple butterfly) 1st - lulu lavender, 2nd - sweet plum, 3rd- grape jelly
(yellow butterfly) 1st - dandelion, 2nd - canteloupe, 3rd- tangelo
(green butterfly) 1st - pear tart, 2nd - bamboo leaves, 3rd- cottage ivy

HUGS
Happy V-day, everyone~
I want to show you this card above my daughter, Kimberly and her cousin, Hannah made without my supervision from start to finish!! I'm so proud of them. They told me the card was inspired by the shirt Kimberly was wearing :):) Thinking like an artist ;) I also want to mention that they cleaned everything after that! That's a huge improvement for them, lol. Great job, Kim (Possible) and Hannah (Montana)!!
They want to know what my stamping friends think about the card. Can you give them some love, please?
Thank you for stopping by.

TSG41 -- Color Challenge
Hello everyone~
Well, I hope all of you are staying safe and warm. We had about 6 inches snow in East Texas!! That's nothing comparing with the one in North but it was a huge for us! As we expected, our ISD was closed on Friday! I'm glad my kids had a chance to play with snow and they had so much fun!! Unfortunately the snow already started melting and it's so muddy right now :(
I also have one card to show you today.
There She Goes challenge 41 (TSG41) has been posted since Monday and I finally got to play :P The Trendsetter of the week, Dawn is challenging us to use the color combo, red, pink and brown. My mood was something cold...so I picked Ice Cream mini set to create the card for the challenge :) I LOVE Neapolitan flavor because it's such a simple and classic combo -- vanilla, chocolate and strawberry in one bowl...can't beat the deal, lol. The name "Neapolitan" always makes me chuckle too...For a long time, I used to believe and call the flavor "Napoleon" until my hubby mentioned one day :*
I colored the ice cream image with Copic markers and stamped "Ice Cream " around the edge.
SCS Sketch challenge 265 (SC265) was inspired for the layout of the card. You can tell I didn't stick to the sketch, especially for the main mat ;)
Stamps: Ice Cream (TSG)
Paper: dark chocolate (PTI), classic white (Flourishes), designer paper (DCWV)
Ink: Memento rich cocoa, lady bug (Tsukineko), Copic markers, white gel pen
Accessaries: ribbon, button, vintage twine
Tools: photo corner punch
These are some photos I took for last 2 days.

FTTC53 -- Easel Card
Happy Tuesday and it's time for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. Before going into this week's challenge, I would like to say big thanks to all of you who participated last week's FTTC One Year Anniversary Challenges!! It was so fun to see all of the fabulous cards!
Don't forget to check out the winners of the challenges at Flourishes blog!
OK, back to this week's challenge (FTTC53) -- Please give a warm welcome to Barbara Anders , our NEW FOF blog team member! Barbara is jumping right in with a challenge. Barbara is challenging us to easel cards. Never tried an easel card before, no problem. Here is an SCS video easel card tutorial which includes ingredients lists, measurements, and individual pictures as well by Beate Johns. We would love to see what you create!
My easel card was used Angelic Love set and Clouds background stamp. The card was also combined SCS Featured Stamper 157 (FS157)! Some of you already known that Barbara was the featured stamper!!! What an exciting week for her!! Congratulations Barbara. I cased this card and changed the card format, embellishments, and the stamped image. The striped designer papers, colors and heart mat were inspired from her card...I even thought the angel wings were similar to the bunny ears, lol.
The angel was colored with Copic markers and adhered on the heart shaped mat that was cut with Spellbinder Nestabilities. The inside of the card was decorated to match with the card front. To finish the card, I added the satin ribbon, pearls and heart stickers.
Stamps: Angelic Love, Clouds (Flourishes)
Paper: classic white (Flourishes), dark chocolate, sweet blush (PTI), Sweet dp (DCWV)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, angel pink (Tsukineko), pretty in pink (SU), Copic markers
Accessaries: heart stickers, pearls, satin ribbon
Tools: Nestablities
Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Monday and Kitchen Sink Monday, everyone~ Let me yell "GO SAINTS!!" It's going to be a longest Mardi Gras for sure, lol!
I hope you've enjoyed checking out KS Crew Challenge #22 (KSCC#22) last Monday. I LOVED what all KS Crews made so much. They've shown how KS stamps are unique and beautiful!! The challenge is still going on until February 26th with KSS gift certificates for the challenge prize.
My card for today is kept the concept of the challenge :) I used Multi Step Berries and created my own designer paper with white cardstock. I thinkt the strawberry image looks so real -- not because my stamping skill, the step stamps did all work for me ;) The main image was stamped with the bigger strawberry image and simply layered with Spellbinders Pendant die.
These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Stampin' Up!) :
(strawberries) 1st - barely banana, 2nd - cameo coral, 3rd- real red, 4th - riding hood red
(leaves) 1st - kiwi kiss, 2nd - old olive, 3rd - garden green
