Hello and happy Wednesday everyone~
It’s exciting to let you know that Repeat Impressions Rock Stars are starting a new challenge after we closed the CASE Wednesday Challenge!!
It’s called “Designer’s Choice Challenge”!! One of the RS is going to be a challenge host and we create whatever the host is challenging us :) Sounds fun?
The talented stamper, Darsie is going to kick off the first DCC and she is challenging us to *create a scene*!! You will have two weeks (by Apr 12th) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built.
Can’t wait to see your project!!
Here is my scenery card :)
What do you think? I’m not a creative scenery stamper but it was done easier than I thought, thanks to RI’s awesome stamps!! I used Mountain Vista (629-I) , Large Pine Forest (2709-I) and Small Pine Tree (2710-D) to create the scene. After the Mountain Vista image was colored with Copic markers, I sponged for the whole scene to add more colors. Then I simply stamped the pine tree images. I also off-stamped the same tree images and blended the color with blender pen to create the shadow. For the sentiment, I stamped Life Is Not…(6113-K) on the white mat, punched the edges with the border punch. Then I masked the edge and sponged the inside of the mask. To finish off, I dressed the sentiment mat with the satin ribbon.
Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!

Great job creating your scene, Maki! They are hard for me, too! I really like the way you border punched your sentiment panel - very clever!
