Hello and happy Wednesday everyone~
Wow! Time seems to fly so fast…it’s another time for What If? Wednesday Sketch Challenge from Repeat Impressions!! You will have 2 weeks (until Tuesday, Oct 4th) to enter your card using the sketch (on right) over RI Blog The House That Stamps Built. All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate!! I hope you will play along with us! Please check out RI Blog for more detail.
Here is my card for the sketch challenge.
I used Shade of the Elm (2908-I) for the main image. I colored it with Copic markers. I pressed the markers like drawing dots for my entire coloring. It gives me a different look and I like how it turned out. Then the panel was mounted with the scalloped square mat. The card was designed with cardstock and designer papers. The sentiment from Quartet Compliments was stamped on the circle panel. To finish off, gold pearls were embellished on the scallops.
Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!

Very pretty, Maki - love the way you colored the image to match the designs on the patterned paper! Very clever.
Great colors and I love you have accented the matt with the little pearls.
