FTTC149–Telescoping Image

Paperwhites_1-2_edited

Hello everyone~

I hope your day is wonderful. It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC149) . It is the last one for the Year of  2011 and Beate is challenging us super fun technique challenge!! It is called “Telescoping Image” and basically stamp the same image on 3 to 4 papers, cut with different sizes, and layer each mat like a telescope. If you don’t have any clue from my explanation (lol), you can visit the Flourishes Blog and check Beate’s wonderful step by step tutorial! Can’t wait to see your creations!

For my card, I used Paperwhites to create the telescoping image. I used Copic markers to color the images and cut each one with Spellbinder Nestabilities 14. The mat was sponged with Distress Ink. The card was designed with the cardstock and MME designer papers. The sentiment was also cut with Spellbinders Fancy Tags and adhered on the bottom of the image mat. I dressed the card with white pearls and embellished the ribbon with the button & vintage twine to finish off.

The Copic Collections I mostly used.

Makiko, what a great choice of image and dies for this technique. Love your beautiful card, coloring and papers. Sponging the edges really makes the layers stand out...will do that the next time I use this technique.
    Happy Holidays!
