FLLC Glamour Girls and FTTC219!!

Happy Tuesday and hello Flourishes Fans!
We have a special treat for you today because we are kicking off the festivities for Day 1 of our Flourishes May Release Sneak Peeks  and we have teamed up with the Friends of Flourishes Team to play along with the Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC219) this week. Want a little peek at the set we’ll be showcasing today?

Our Glamour Girls stamp collection, illustrated by Lauren Pope, is a fabulous collection of lovely ladies and some classic "girl talk" sentiments perfect for all those charming gals in your life.  This classy stamp set arrives just in time for Mother's Day!  What more can you ask for?

Now on to our challenge… Denise Marzec is our Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess this week and for her challenge, we want to see you use some "BLACK ACCENTS" on your card or project.  Let's see you use some black matting, black die-cut images, black ribbon, or try the ever-popular "chalkboard" technique that's popping up all over the blogging world.

Here is my "black accents" card :)

As you see, I added some black accents on my card. The color of black works perfect for the image, don't you think? The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. I die-cut the black mat and sentiment mat with Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole die set. The black mat was dry embossed and directly inked with white pigment ink. I also stamped the one of the sentiments on the CME Crocus cardstock and it was brushed over lightly with white acrylic paint. To finish off, I dressed the card with the black accents :)

The rest of supplies: Classic White cardstock, designer paper, black rhinestones, ribbon, beaded hat pin, decorative edger, embossing folder

Today we have both our Flourishes Finest Design Team AND our Friends of Flourishes Team sharing their "Black Accents" inspirations with you!  Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers' blogs.

Come and hop along and visit with all of our super talented Flourishes designers and join us in our challenge this week for a chance at winning our ENTIRE new May release!!  Yup... that's right... you could win our entire new release just by playing along.  Check out the Flourishes Blog for further challenge details.  Good luck everyone!

If you also want to earn a chance to win all four of our soon-to-be released sets, you can always play in our Colorful Creations Challenge – there will be multiple winners here! Check out the links for the official rules! Also, if you like what you see on our designers’ blogs today, you can pre-order this set (along with the other three sets as well). You can also take advantage our New Release Bundle and get 10% off when you purchase all four together in a bundle. All sets will be live first thing Friday morning along with the coordinating cut files for this release.
