There are many fruit stamps to choose from but I decided to ink Blueberries from Berry Sweet set. I stamped the image with Memento tuxedo black on classic white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then I sponged the circle mat with Distress Ink shabby shatters using using Ink Blending tool and Foam. The frame was created with Spellbinders Lacey Circles and layered on the mat that was created with Fancy Tag 3 die. The card was created with the classic white cardstock, colored cardstock and Bo Bunny Country Garden designer papers. The sentiment was stamped on the label that was cut out with the die from Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die. To finish off, the card was embellished with May Arts Iridescent Ribbon with vintage brad and aqua rhinestones.

    Woman’s Shopper Birthday Card

    Just_For_Fun_3-1_edited

    Hello there,

I have one card to share with you for this post! I used the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge (SC379).

For this card, I played with Just For Fun Stamps. This one is called Woman Shopper Silhouettes 2. I have been asked to make some samples for JFF occasionally and this is one of my favorite March 2012 release! You can order them their online store or grab them at the JFF booth at the Stamp Conventions! Since I am dedicated to make the card samples for them, there is no needing to promote their stamps in my blog but Debby has sent me a generous amount of their stamps and I thought it would be nice to shout out! I will share other samples I’ve made for the last one year when I finish editing my photos :) I cannot say exactly when but I will try to get it done very soon!

I created her birthday card with one of March Release, Rhubarb’s Birthday Wishes set. Since I am in the Digi DT, I use their digi stamps most of the time but I equally love their clear stamps too! Plus, I cannot make this cute Rhubarb sit in my box, can I? ;)

Then it was layered on the Lacey Squares mat. The sentiment was stamped on the pennant that was cut with SB Nested Pennants. The polka dots circle mats were cut with SB Nestablities Circles. To finish off, the ribbons were attached on the two corners and the rhinestones were embellished.

I decided to make another Spring card. I used Celebrate Spring (3908-I) and Vase of Tulips (1317-L). The tulips image has a vase but I hid it with the mat of Celebrate Spring. The images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with SB Nestabiliteis Circles. The card was designed with Basic Grey Piccadilly  paper and the colored cardstock. I embellished with the pleated ribbon and lace trim on the bottom of the card. Instead of using the thin strip mat on the top of the card, I embellished the butterfly with swirl pearls. The both butterflies are punched with Martha Stewart punches and embellished with the pearls.
