SC226 -- from our home

Hello everyone~
Today's card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 226 (SC226). Before I checked the sketch, these trio colors were already stacked in my head and I insisted to use them in the sketch, lol.
I ordered the SU set, Scene in a Garden more than a month ago and didn't inked until today. I think these little boots are so cute.

今回のカードは、SCSのスケッチチャレンジ226 (SC226)のスケッチを使って作りました。スケッチをチェックする前から、この3つの色が頭にずっと残っていたので、スケッチに無理矢理な感じで使い通しました（笑）
このStampin' Up!のセット、Scene in a Gardenは、1ヶ月以上前に購入したのに、今日までインクをつけていませんでした! この小さいブーツが可愛いらしいですよね。

The images from Scene in a Garden were stamped on the kraft mat .
I then stamped the same images on the watercolor paper and colored them with Stampin' markers and Aqua painter. And I adhered them over the stamped images on the kraft mat.
The turquoise, red and vanilla mats were textured with Texturz plates (SU backgrounds 1).

Scene in a Gaden からのイメージを、クラフトの紙にスタンプし、それから、水彩紙に別で捺した同じイメージは、Stampin' マーカーと水彩筆で色を付けました。そして、それらをクラフトの紙に捺してあるイメージに重ねています。ターコイズ、赤、そしてバニラの紙は、Texturzプレート（SU background 1)を使って、エンボスしました。

TSG Sneak Peek -- Happy Day

Today's Sneak Peek is for another wonderful set, Happy Day, designed by Pien DaPino. You are getting 17 cute images and sentiments that make you happy and smile :) :) :)
I started making this card from the sentiment and decided to use the heart and 2 birds for the focal point. The birds were stamped on the vintage cream cardstock and colored with Copics. The tree leaves and the heart were stamped on the polka dots papers and colored with Copics. And I trimmed the tree leaves into a few parts and layered them one to another. I love the patterns translucent through the colors!

It's a gloomy rainy day here in Texas. My mood is nothing related to the weather but I'm very scared about swine flu... Please, please be careful, everyone, especially my friends in Texas. I really hope the flu won't spread so much...I know I'm so helpless in this point...

OK, enough for whining!
I made this poppy card for my FIRST submission to Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC13). I also found SCS Color Combination challenge216 (CC216) was the combo I wanted to try. Perfect!! Kill two birds with one stone :)
The image was colored with dye inks (reinkers) and aqua painters. I layered just the poppy flower to give more dimensions. The pearls are so sticky and I think they like to stick to my fingers than papers, lol.

気分を変えて。。。
このポピーのカードを作って、Flourishes Timeless Tuesdayチャレンジ（FTTC13)へ初めて参加しました。それから、SCSのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ２１６(CC216)が、丁度使いたかった色と同じでした。と言うわけで、一石二鳥でチャレンジができました＾＾
イメージは、ダイインク（インカー）と水彩筆で色を付け、ポピーの花だけ、重ねて貼っています。パールのシール部分が、とっても粘着があって、紙よりも私の指にくっ付いて大変でした（笑）

TSG Sneak Peek -- A-Z and 123

Hello everyone~
Looks like She's A Lady is a hit!! How about another There She Goes Sneak Peek Blog Hop? If you came from Julie's blog, you are on the right track. If not, You may want to start from Jessica's blog for this fun event :)

Today's Sneak Peek is something for everybody. It's called "A-Z and 123". It's the most famous TSG alphabets along with numbers, punctuations and circles. The set is loaded with 70 stamps!! I already see I'm going to be fun with customizing my gift and cards with using it and of course, it's going to be great for scrapbooking, too!

For my card, I used the circles for the background, and the letters for the sentiment from the set. The star stamp is from Tweeterpated set. It was perfectly fit in the circle :)

I kept the same pattern to the inside of the card and then I stamped the sentiment with Holidays Galore. The gridline acrylic block on the photo is also the one of the new products from TSG next month, yay!!

KS Monday and an Exciting News!!

Hello everyone~

I'm so excited to tell you that I'm going to join Kitchen Sink Crew from May!! I can't believe it!! I'm just a girl who loves to make cards and enjoys participating challenges. Now, I'm going to be a crew member with these talented and fabulous ladies... can someone pinch me, lol??

To kick off my excitement, I made the card for Kitchen Sink Monday with Multi Step Tulip Garden. Unfortunately the tulip season is already over here in Texas but we can always enjoy the beautiful flowers year around in the card world, right? :)

興奮のついでに、今回Kithcen Sink Monday (KS Monday)でのカードを、Multi Step Tulip Gardenを使って作りました。残念ながら、ここテキサスでは、チューリップの季節は終わってしまいましたが、カードの世界では、１年中この美しい花を楽しむことができますよね?＾＾


The flower pot was folded with 6" x 6" paper. The instructions can be found everywhere but this one is very easy to follow. The tulip mat can be used as a bookmark.
The sentiment on the bookmark is from 3 Step Hibiscus and the one inside of the card is from 3 Step Daisy.

植木鉢は、6" x 6"のペーパーを折りました。チューリップのマットは、ブックマークにもなります。
ブックマークの言葉は、3 Step Hibiscusのセットから、カードの中の言葉は、3 Step Daisyのセットからのを使っています。

TSG Sneak Peek - She's A Lady

Welcome to There She Goes Sneak Peek - Day 1 and Blog Hop Challenge!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. If you came from Julie's blog, you hopped the right place. If not, you may want to start the hop from Jessica's blog.

I'm so excited that the new products are going be added to TSG store including 3 new sets :) Today, we are going to show you the fabulous set, "She's A Lady", designed by Pien DaPino, available on May 1st. For this set, you are getting 14 fabulous images and sentiments including this beautiful lady! You are going to be so much fun coloring :)

My card was inspired by the shopping bags. I thought it would be fun to make a card with a bag. The shopping bag was made from a business size envelop (9 7/16" x 4 1/8"), sealed. I just cut it horizontally in half and used the border punch for the opening. After decorating the bag, I punched the holes and looped the ribbons for the handles. To fit the insert card into the bag, you have to cut it to 4" for the short side.
The lady and bags were colored with Copic. Can you see the bling on her finger? :) :) :)



The great thing about this card is that it still fits to the standard envelop if you want to mail (just be careful when you insert the card if it has the dimensional and layers.

IC177 & OCCC

Hello everyone~
It's going to be a quick post because there are more posts are scheduled after this.
I made this card for SCS Inspiration Challenge 177 (IC177) -- Kleenex. There are pretty designs on the tissue boxes and I really enjoyed making it.

このカードは、SCSのインスピレーションチャレンジ（IC177) -- Kleenexで作ったものです。ティシュー箱にも、素敵なデザインが色々あるんですね～。今回も楽しく作らせて貰いました。


I took my inspiration form this:


I also combined Our Creative Corner challenge (OCCC), too. The challenge was to make a card with the favorite color combo. My favorite one is blue and brown just like the inspiration. There are no mistakes for the colors, lol.

I used Nature of Friendship from There She Goes. There are no special techniques for the card. I just stamped, stamped and stamped :)
Speaking of TSG, the Sneak Peeks are going to start midnight on Monday!! I hope come back to see again ;)

インスピレーションで使ったのは、上のティシュー箱です。今回は、Our Creative Cornerチャレンジ（OCCC)も一緒にチャレンジしています。今回のチャレンジは、１番好きな色のコンビでカードを作るです。私のお気に入りは、青と茶色の組み合わせ、特にこのインスピレーションのような色合いが大好きです。この色合いで作れば、失敗はありませんよ～（笑）

スタンプは、There She GoesからのNature of Friendshipを使っています。特別なテクニックは使っていません。ただスタンプを捺していっただけです。
TSGと言えば、スニークピークが米国時間の月曜午前１２時からスタートします。また、見に来てくれたら嬉しいです。

I'm so excited to tell you that Jen Tapler is the Guest Trendsetter for May!!! I think many of you already know how talented and sweet she is. It's going to be another fun month for TSG!!

And May TSG Challenge is to show us your very first card you made and your favorite card you have made. Ok, since I don't have anything to show yet, I decided to post my TSG challenge :)

I don't have the very first card I made anymore so I show you the first card on my SCS gallery.

Well, what do you think? The card size is 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" instead of standard card size. After I found out the card is a little longer than I wanted and I already tied the twine rope on the card, it was too late to trim down, lol. I remember I had to sponge around the main panel because I made the red finger print on the egde :)


My favorite card I've made so far....
There are many cards I love (I'm such a bragger, lol ) but this one I especially had so much fun with making it.

Guess who turned 8!

TGIF everyone~
Another no cards day from me... To tell the truth, I havn't touched stamps for the last couple days!! My DS, Trey is the one of the reasons to keep me out from the stamp room :)

April 23rd is Trey's birthday and he is 8 years old now!!!

He doesn't look a baby anymore although he is always my baby (sigh)... He loves Transformers, Ben 10, Pokemon and Wii. He is very smart (probably smarter than Mommy and Daddy, lol) and his sense of houmor is something God gave him. We believe he was born to be a comedian.

I've been cleaning and shopping for his party. I hope I get to have a time to stamp this weekend. Well, I just want to say "Hi" and I hope you will have a great weekend. xoxo

また、写真だけの更新です。というかこの2日程、スタンプに触っていません!!私の息子、トレイが理由の1つになっていますが。。。その理由とは、

4月23日は、トレイの誕生日で、8才になりました!!!

何時までも、私のベイビーですが、この写真だともう赤ちゃんではありませんね~(淋）トラスフォーマー、ベン10、ポケモン、そしてＷｉｉが大好きで、とても賢いです（多分、父母よりも）。それに、彼のユーモアのセンスは、神様からのギフトだと思うくらい面白い子で、将来はコメディアンにでもなれるかな(笑）

今は、誕生日パーティーの準備で、掃除や買い物の合間にこの日記を更新しました。土曜日か日曜日にでも、またスタンプが出来ればと思っています。皆さんも良い週末をお過ごし下さい。それでは。
