FTTC113–Flowers, Flowers Everywhere!

 

Hello everyone~

It’s time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 113 (FTTC113). Dee Jackson is challenging us to create cards with flowers. As the challenge title says, let’s have fun with flowers! Please visit Flourishes blog for more detail about how to play. Can’t wait to see your card/project!

 

For my card, I used my favorite blossoms set, Cherry Blossoms. The image was colored with Copic markers and framed with label 18 Nestabilities from Spellbinders. I designed the card with Webster’s Page and embellished with distressed flowers and leaves. The flowers are originally white flowers but it was inked with Distress ink and spirited with shimmer mist (it has a little peach tinted glimmer…I wish I could show you the shimmer through the photos!). Then I scrunched the flowers while they were still wet, and carefully shaped them with using heat gun to dry.

 

 

 

I also submitted the card to Bring Back Beautiful #9 (BBB9) and Sweet Stop Sketch 103 (SSS103).
