FLLC July Release Challenge!!

Happy Friday everyone ~

For friends and family in the US, I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July.

We're ushering in a brand new month of great stamps in the coming week from Flourishes! So that means a great new challenge we're inviting you to join us in!
This month it's a fun sketch to get your creativity jump-started, and you can read on to find out the
details for the challenge....

   

Here is my card using the sketch :)

I used Call Me set for the image and the sentiment. I thought it fits perfectly the circle I cut out :) I colored the image with Copic markers as usual. The card was created with Classic White cardstock, Classic Black cardstock, CME Sunflower cardstock, and TC Summer Stories paper pad. To finish off, I embellished the card with 3D flower, ivory jute twine and enamel dots.

The rest of supplies: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Peanut Brittle, Spellbinders dies (circle, banners, and 3D flower)

Flourishes Friday!! - Beach Sets

Happy Friday and this is my 1200 posts! Yippie!!

It is time for another Flourishes Friday! Today, the Flourishes Senior Design Team has a treat for you focussing on two beautiful summery sets: Beach Life, Seaside Life, and A Guiding Light because we know that this time of year makes you long for those cool ocean breezes.



I used one of the shells and sentiment from Seaside Life. The image was colored with Copic markers and adhered on the Teresa Collins Summer Stories paper pad, that was die cut with Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole die set. The sentiment was also die cut with the same die set. The rest of the card was designed with Classic White cardstock, CME Emerald Coast cardstock, Rich Browns cardstock and the same designer paper pack. To finish off, I embellished with CME ribbon Emerald Coast/Paradise Aqua with CME ivory button and ivory jute twine, and rhinestones.

FLLC Free For All Friday (June Release)

Happy Friday everyone~
Did you watch The Finals last night? Spurs was so close!!! It is always bitter sweet to lose like that but we had such a great season! A good thing is we always have next year ;)


It is time for another Flourishes Free For All Friday!! Today, the Flourishes Team are excited to show you one more look at the June stamp Releases.

For my card, I picked Picking Wildflowers set. I love this gorgeous bouquet of wildflowers and had so much fun with picking colors and coloring :) I designed the card with Classic White cardstock, CME Terra Cotta cardstock and the beautiful Teresa Collins Summer Stories designer papers. The image was colored with Copic markers as usual. To finish off, I embellished with the lace trim, CME ivory ribbon and enamel dots.

Flourishes Meets Cardmaps!!

Hello all and happy Saturday! Today I have a special treat! Some of the Flourishes gals have joined the Pagemaps team to usher in a little source of creative inspiration with Becky Fleck's latest round of Cardmaps sketches! Each designer took a different sketch and created to her heart's content!

For my card, I used Forget Me Not Note set for the image and Inside & Out You for the sentiment. The image waas colored with Copic markers. The sentiment mat and weathered wood panel panel were die cut with Perfectly Pierced Classic Window die set. I also stamped the edge of the card base with the Forget Me Not Note stamp set.

The rest of supplies: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, Classic Ivory cardstock, CME cardstock - Pistachio, designer papers, rhinestones

Flourishes June Release - Berry Sweet Frame

Happy Friday, everyone~

We're back today with our last day of fabulous New Releases for June! Today's set celebrates the sweet bounty of a fruitful summer garden! Introducing....

 

This set is surely berrilicious! Designed with three sweet-as-can-be accent stamps of raspberries, strawberries and cherries, this set can deliver a gift from your garden or cheer to a friend. The gingham background is designed as a perfect fit to our Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die. Layer using the die or come up with your own fun ways to combine all of these sentiments and images. With this fresh picked set, the creative options are endless!

All of the berries are soooo sweet and pretty. I just had to use each of them to create my card :) The berries around the focal piece was colored with Copic markers as usual. The frame was die cut with Perfectly Pierced Victorian Oval die and the sentiment piece was die cut with Perfectly Pierced Classic Frame die. I also stamped the background and the border from the Berry Sweet Frame set.

Flourishes June Release - S'More Fun

Happy Thursday!!

You've come back for S'more Flourishes Fun? Well we're bringing it to you today! Hasn't it been great? And for some more outdoor fun today - we think this set might be one of our favorites!

  

  Introducing the very darling.... 

   

Get on the road again with this summer inspired set designed to share S'more Fun! From a darling daisy clad lantern and a vintage RV ready for summer to finger licking good S'mores fresh off the fire, this set is sure to bring smiles! This 4 by 6" set features three main images, an accent image plus four all-occasion sentiments. 

Here is my card:

I had so much fun with coloring this image :) Isn't it so cute? As usual, I colored it with Copic markers and it was adhered on the kraft cardstock mat that was die cut with Perfectly Pierced Hourglass die.  The sentiment was die cut with Perfectly Peirced Victorian Oval die. The rest of the card was designed with Classic White cardstock, CME cardstock - Sunflowers and designer papers. To finish off, I embellished with the blue buttons, fabric tape (yellow stripes are sold out but we still have pink gingham)and lace trim.
