Hello everyone~
I have one card to show you for Designer’s Choice Challenge from Repeat Impressions!! It’s Karen’s turn and she is challenging us to make a card for guys. You will have two weeks (by Sep 13th) to enter your project. When you finish your project, make sure you link it to the DCC post at RI blog where the inlinkz are located so that you will have a chance to win the RI gift certificate! For more information about the DCC, please visit The House That Stamps Built (RI blog). Can’t wait to see your creation!
For the challenge, I stamped the quote, His Words (4134-K) on the circle mat and sponged the mat with ink. I also used the scenic stamp, Mountain Vista (629-I) on the light blue mat. The card base was scored a few times. To finish off, I dressed with the buttons.
I used the sketch is from Clean & Simple Stamping blog (FTL154)…it’s supposed to make a Christmas card but it worked wonderfully for my card at the end. So, I don’t even try to submit it but just need to let you know where the sketch came from :)
Be sure to check out the creations by the RI Rock Stars below to get more inspirations too!!

Maki, this is a great card! I love the scoring and how you have accented the sentiment with the mountain vista.
I like the bright colors you used, Maki! Love the mountain scene subtly stamped on the bottom, too.
Awesome card for my DCC challenge! Love the sentiment and special touches. I have been just too busy to comment on our team's cards lately but as always this is great!
Beautiful! I love the layout, the colors you chose and the scored card base.
Hugs and smiles
