WT197 -- Quickie Gift Bag 2

SCS Way To Use It challenge 197 is to make a last minute gift. If you saw my last post, you already knew I made the last minute gift yesterday :) Anyway, I made another gift bag for the challenge and this time is for a M&Ms lover?

SCSのWay To Use Itチャレンジ１９７は、ラストミニットギフトを作るです。前回の日記を読んだ方は知っていると思いますが、先日同じ様なギフトを作りました。そして、チャレンジ様に、凝りもせず同じギフトバックをつくってみました。今回は、M&Ms好きな方へのギフトです。

I used the burlap bag for this project. You can purchase the same bag at There She Goes.
The only differences from the muslin gift bag I made, I snipped the square window with the scissors I just love the peek, especially the treats like M&Ms. To let you know, I put the M&Ms in the clear bag before putting into the burlap bag ;)

この作品では、麻生地のバックを使用してみました。There She Goesで同じ物を購入できます。
前に作ったモスリンのギフトバックとの違いは、バックの四角い穴の部分を、鋏で切ったことぐらいでしょうか。Ｍ＆Ｍｓのようなお菓子などは、中身が少し見えるのが、逆に楽しいですよね。このＭ＆Ｍｓは、麻生地のバックに入れる前に、ちゃんとクリアバックに入れたので、ご安心を：）

Quickie Gift Bag

Next Thursday is Christmas!! I love giving small giftｓ for my friends every holidays. Just a little something like candies, chocolates, coffee and bath sets to enjoy.

来週の木曜日は、いよいよクリスマスですね!!　私は、ホリデーシーズンに、知人へ、チョコレートやキャンディー、コーヒーやバスセットの様なちょっとした贈り物をあげるのが大好きです。
今回は、この美味しいトリュフを入れる為に、このギフトバックを作ってみました。モスリンバッグは、There She Goesで取り扱っています。詳細はこちらをクリックして下さい。


Here is how I made:
First, I cut out the circle shape on the front of the bag with the circle Nestabilities die. Then I adhered the red circle ring to prevent from fraying. The ring were made with using 2 Nestabilities dies. And I just decorated the bag with stamps and VersaMagic inks. And I carefully turned the bag inside out.

作り方はこちらです：
初めに、サークルのネスタビリティーを使って、バッグのフロントに円をくり抜き、ほつれを防ぐ為に、赤のリングを貼り付けます。このリングは、２つのネスタビリティーのダイを使って作りました。それから、スタンプとヴァーサマジックを使って、バックをデコレートし、慎重にバッグを裏表にひっくり返します。

Next, I cut out the clear sheet (I used the clear envelope) with the bigger size (I used 2 size bigger than the one used for the bag ) circle Nestabilities die. Then I used the strong double side tape like Sticky Strip to adhered the circle clear sheet to the circle window of the bag. When I attached the sticky tape, I peeled both protectors and rolled it like a thin rope. This way is easier to attach the tape on the curvy shapes like circles.

次に、もっと大きいサイズのサークルのネスタビリティー(私のは、バッグで使った円のサイズより、２サイズ大きいサイズを使いました）を使って、クリアシートをくり抜きます。そして、Sticky Stripのような強力両面テープを使って、バックの丸くくり抜いてある部分に、円のクリアシートを貼り付けます。このとき、両面テープの保護ストラップを両方とも剥ぎ、細いロープ状にした状態で、テープを使いました。円のようなカーブがある形には、この方が貼り付けやすいです。

Again, I carefully turned the bag back to the right side. Then I attached the center image on the clear sheet, tied the tag and put the candies.

再び、慎重にバックを元の状態にもどします。それから、クリアシートの真ん中に飾りを付け、タグを結び、キャンディーを入れて完成です。

CC198 Sympathy Card

Hello everyone~
After making 20+ ornaments and 50+ Christmas cards, I was ready for making something different. SCS Color Combination challenge 198 was so refreshing and made me so calm.

皆さん、こんにちは～
２０個以上のオーナメントと、５０枚以上のクリスマスカードを作った後で、何か違うものを作りたくなりました。ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１９８は、そんなマンネリな気分をリフレッシュさせ、とても落着いた気分にさせてくれました。

I used Here For You set from There She Goes.
I stamped the saying with VersaMark & basic gray ink. And I heat embossed with clear embossing powder (CEP). Then I added the colors with the brayer and sponge. And I stamped the flower and small bird images over the saying. Since the saying were heat embossed, the part of the images, over-wrapped on the saying, were resisted.
The bird with the branch was also stamped with VersaMark on not quite navy cardstock and heat embossed with CEP. When I trimmed the image, I made boo boo so I added the prima flowers for the alternation.

このカードでは、There She GoesのHere For Youセットを使っています。
ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋと灰色のダイインクを使って、文章をスタンプし、クリアエンボスパウダー(CEP)を使って、ヒートエンボスしました。その後、ブレイヤーとスポンジで色を付け、花と小さい鳥のイメージを文章の上に捺しました。文章は、ヒートエンボスされているので、その部分に重なったイメージは、レジストされます。
ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋを使って、紺色のカードストックに、枝と鳥のイメージを捺し、ＣＥＰでヒートエンボスしました。これを切り取った時、少し失敗をしたので、お花を付けて失敗を隠しています＾＾”

Christmas Ornaments

SCS Technique Lover's challenge 199 is such a fun challenge! The technique is called "Tag Punch Starburst" and you can make this beautiful starburst shape with 2 tag punches. I used the tag punches from Stampin' Up! but I think EK Success sells the same thing. (SU! punches are munufactured by EK Success anyway)

ＳＣＳのテクニックラバーチャレンジ１９９は、とっても楽しいチャレンジです！このテクニックは、｢タグパンチスターバースト｣というもので、２つのタグパンチを使って、この綺麗なスターパーストの形を作ることが出来ます。私は、Stampin' Up!のタグパンチを使いましたが、EKSuccessから同じ様なタグパンチが出ていると思います。（ＳＵ!のパンチも、製造社はEKSuccessだしね）

Before I tried the challenge, I saw the beautiful ornament, made by Janette (blessingX3). I basiclly cased hers and made the photo ornaments for my kids and Kimberly's friend.
You know what left after making the 3 ornaments??? 20 something bravo burugundy small tags!! I didn't want to waist the tags or keep them so I used another project :)

このチャレンジをする前に、Janette(blessingX3)さんが作った素敵なオーナメントを見つけ、基本的には、彼女のオーナメントを真似て、写真つきのオーナメントを子供達とキミーの友達に作りました。
３つのオーナメントを作った後、何が残ったと思いますか？？？２０個以上の赤ワイン色の小さなタグが残ってしまいました！！捨てるのも勿体無いし、取って置くのも嫌だったので、またもう１つのプロジェクトをする事に。。。

I made 22 ornaments like this for Trey's classmates. This origami folding is called "Shuriken"(the weapons Ninja use). Japanese kids make and play with them for fun. I thought it could be a great ornament.

Not only I used up the tags but also I eliminated the designer papers I was hoarding for a long time :) It was a very productive day!

結果、このようなオーナメントを、トレイのクラスメート様に２２個作りました。手裏剣が、オーナメントになっちゃいましたよ～。でも、こちらの子供達は忍者系が大好きなので、多分喜んでもらえるでしょう。その前に、これが手裏剣だって知らないだろうな～？
嬉しい事に、タグを使い切っただけでなく、ずっと使わずにしまって置いたパターンペーパーも見事になくなりました：）沢山の物を作り終えた日になりました！

LSC 198 -- Going Green

Hello everybody~
I have been busy with getting ready for Christmas. This card was made for SCS Limited Supplies challenge 198 last Friday. I made it in the same day but I now uploading here!

皆さん、こんにちは～
クリスマスの準備で、毎日忙しくしています。このカードも、先週の金曜日にＳＣＳのリミットサプライチャレンジ１９８で作りましたが、アップするのがかなり遅れてしまいました。

The challenge is "Going Green" You create your project with recycled or reused materials.
The card was made with the scraps and the pieces that were went wrong when I made this year's Christmas cards.
The buttons were also reused from the old cloth I threw away for a long time ago. I'm so glad I kept them until now :)

After all, this card are turned out my favorite Christmas card this year!

チャレンジの内容は、"Go Green"で、材料に、リサイクル、または再使用の物を使って何かを作るです。このカードは、今年のクリスマスカードを作成している間に失敗したピースや、スクラップなどを使って作りました。
ボタンも、とっくに昔に捨てた古着のボタンを使いました。今まで、取って置いて本当に良かった♪

結局、このカードが、今年のクリスマスカードの中で、一番のお気に入りになっちゃいました(笑）

Coffee or Tea?

Hello everyone~

It's Soooo COLD here in Texas! We are expecting sleet or possibly snow tonight!!
Troy came home from New York last Saturday :) He told me his job is done for this year! I'm so glad we can spend some family time and he can finish some work around the house (My Honey do list is getting long while he was gone). And you know what he's been working since yesterday? ---- My Stamp Studio!!!! Makink Studio is going to be a real thing, Woo hoo!! When it's finished, I definitely upload the photos and brag it to you :)

Anyway, I had to make tea and coffee cards to keep me warm ;)

ここテキサスは、とっても寒いです！今夜は、みぞれか雪が降る可能性もあるみたいです!!
トロイが、土曜日にニューヨークの仕事から帰ってきました。今年の仕事はこれで終わりだそうです。やっと、家族水入らずの時間が過ごせ、やり掛けていた家の修理等もしてくれるのがとっても嬉しいです。早速、昨日から新しいプロジェクトをしています。何を作っているかというと～。。。。私のスタンプルームで～す!!!Makink Studioが現実化しますよ～(笑）完成した暁には、是非写真をアップしたいと思います。

今回は、暖かい気分になるように、ティーとコーヒーのカードを作りました。

The first card is for all the coffee lovers! I made the card with SCS Color Combination 196, but I was out of taken with teal cardstock so I used tempting turquoise instead.
All stamps are from There She Goes. I used the one of the mini set, "Polka Dot Hello" and "Let's Get Together!"
The coffee cup was paper pieced and mounted on the embossed panel.

１枚目のカードは、コーヒーラブの方へです。ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーション１９６を使って、カード作りたかったんですが、taken with teal色のカードストックが切れていたので、急遽tempting turquoise色を使いました。
スタンプは、全てThere She Goesのものです。ミニセットの１つ「Polka Dot Hello」と「Let's Get Together!」を使っています。
コーヒーカップは、ペーパーピースをし、エンボスパネルに貼り付けました。

The second card is for all the tea lovers! I used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 206. I Loooove the sketch as usual and couldn't resist to play!
The stamp set is "Tea for Two" from There She Goes. The tea cups were colored with Copic markers.

２枚目のカードは、ティーラブの方へです。ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ２０６のスケッチを使いました。いつもと同じくととても素敵なスケッチです。
スタンプセットは、There She Goesの「Tea for Two」です。ティーカップは、コピックマーカーを使いました。

Peaceful Snowflake

Hello everyone~
I have another holiday card to show you today.
I made this card for today's SCS Limited Supplies challenge (LSC197).

The limitations are:
--Use snowflake images only
--Use monochromatic colors
--Add sort of bling or sparkle into the creation
--Sentiments may be one work only

Even though there were some limitations, I knew what I wanted to do at the moment I read the challenge. What can I say... I just LOVE snowflakes :)

皆さん、こんにちは。
今日は、もう１枚ホリデーカードを載せておきます。
このカードは、今日のＳＣＳリミットサプライチャレンジ（ＬＳＣ１９７）で作りました。

今回限定されたことは、
・雪の結晶のイメージのみを使う
・単彩系の色を使う(モノクロマティック）
・どこかにブリンクやスパークルなものを取り入れる
・言葉は、一言のみ

限定がいくつかあるチャレンジでしたが、チャレンジの内容を読んだ後直ぐに、これを作ろう～と思いました。雪の結晶は、大・大好きなんですよね～、私：）


It was used resist technique for the background. The snowflakes were stamped with VersaMark Dazzle and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then 2 different purple shades were added with the brayer and sponge.
Why did I choose purple?
Because I just made the ATCｓ for Purple ATC swap and the colors were worked so well. I will upload the ATC soon ;)

The punched snowflakes were inked with VersaMark Dazzle and heat embossed with holographic embossing powder. For the finish touch, I added Stickles in the middle of the snowflakes and added the ribbons on the card.

I also decorated the envelope for the card to finish SCS Way To Use It challenge 195. This is such a great way to finish a card completely! Maybe I should do it for everytime I make a card.

バックグランドは、レジストテクニックを使っています。雪の結晶を、ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋ　Ｄａｚｚｌｅを使って捺し、クリアエンボスパウダーでヒートエンボスしました。その後、２色の紫色をブレイヤーとスポンジを使って着色しました。
何で紫かって？
この間、パープルＡＴＣ交換会で作ったＡＴＣの色合いが、とっても気に入った色合いだったので、今回も使ってみました。作ったＡＴＣは、後ほどブログに更新しますね～。

パンチでくり抜いた雪の結晶は、これまたVersaMark Dazzleのインクを付け、ホログラフィクエンボスパウダー(ラメ入りのエンボスパウダー）を使い、ヒートエンボスしました。仕上げに、結晶の真ん中にＳｔｉｃｋｌｅｓを付け、カードにリボンを付けました。

最後に、ＳＣＳのWay To Use It challenge 195もクリアする様、カードに合わせて封筒も飾ってみました。これって、作るカードと一緒に、いつもすればいいのかもしれません。これから、封筒も頑張ってみようかしら？

Sketch Challenge 205

Hello everyone~
It's a beautiful day here in Texas after the heavy rain went through last night.
My son came home from shcool with a stomach bug yesterday. Fortunately he is fine now and 100% recovered, but I decided to let him stay at home today.

I did SCS challenges yesterday and made 2 cards. If you read my blog from time to time, you already know I'm a big fan of SCS challenges and Sketch challenge is my favorite one so far. SC205 is no exceptional. I had so much fun to play it :)

ここテキサスは、昨晩の豪雨の後、快晴のお天気です。
息子が、昨日ストマックフルー(腸炎）を貰ってきて、学校を早退してきました。でも、今日はすっかり良くなり、元気に遊んでいますが、とりあえず学校を休ませています。

昨日は、ＳＣＳのチャレンジを使って、２枚のカードを作りました。私のブログを時々読みに来てくださっている皆さんは、もうお察しだと思いますが、私は、大のＳＣＳチャレンジファンです。特にスケッチチャレンジは、１番大好きなチャレンジで、今回のスケッチ、SC205も例外なく楽しみました。

This card is also used SCS Color Combination challenge 195. The combo was all neutrals - basic black, sahara sand and very vanilla. I challenged myself to make a holiday card with the colors.
It was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I love the sotificated look the color combo brings.

I just got VersaMark Dazzle (champagne) the other day and I was itching to use it. I stamped the snowflake on the background panel with VersaMark Dazzle and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The ink really gives the beautiful dazzle on the image. It's really hard to see on the photo but the snowflakes are really shimmery IRL.
After the panels were distressed with black and sandy color, I stamped the swirls with the black ink.

このカードは、ＳＣＳのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１９５も取り入れてます。カラーコンボは、全てナチュラル系-黒、薄茶、バニラ色のコンボです。自分のチャレンジとして、この色でホリデーカードを作ってみました。私にとっては、とても難しい色のコンボですが、この色が醸し出す上品な雰囲気が大好きです。

この前、購入したVersaMark Dazzle (シャンパン色）を、早速使ってみました。雪の結晶を、このインクを使ってバックグランドに捺し、クリアエンボスパウダーで、ヒートエンボスをしました。インクが、イメージに、美しいキラキラを出しｔくれます。画像では見難いですが、実物は、雪の結晶がもっと輝いています。
黒と薄茶で、パネルをディストレスした後、スワールのスタンプを、黒のインクで捺しました。

Here is the inside: I stamped the snowflakes on the black panel with the same manner.
下は、カードの中です。黒のパネルは、同じ方法で雪の結晶を捺しています。

Paper: sahara sand, basic black, very vanilla (Stampin' Up!)

Ink: sahara sand (Stampin' Up!), VersaMark Dazzle (Tsukineko), Distress dye ink (Ranger), Palette noir black (Superior)

Accessories: ribbon (Daiso), pearls (Michael's), clear embossing powder (Ranger), Nestabilities (Spellbinders) oval punch (Stampin' Up!)

The second card is also used the same sketch (SC205). I made the embossed background panel for the first card shown above, but I decided not to use it. It was on my desk all day and begging me to be used ;) So I gave it the second chance, lol.
I added 3 different colors on the panel and picked the red card base. Then I made the main panel and attached the ribbon.
The cute stamped image is from Odd Bird Planet! It was colored with Copic markers and the blanket was paper-pieced. My friend Rina was right! OBP stamps are so adorable and fun!

２枚目のカードも、同じスケッチ（ＳＣ２０５）を使っています。エンボスをしたパネルは、最初のカードに使う予定でしたが、気に入らずそのまま机の上に放ってましたが、勿体無いな～と思ったので、再度使う事に。
パネルに３色違う色を付けて、赤のカードベースを使う事にしたら、何だかいい感じになったので、メインのパネルと、リボンを付けて完成させました。
この可愛いイメージは、Odd Bird Planetのスタンプです!　コピックマーカーで色を付け、ブランケットは、ペーパーピースをしてあります。rinaさ～んの言う通り！ＯＢＰのスタンプは、どれも可愛らしくて、とっても楽しいですね。

中身も、こんな感じでデコレートしてみました。

Here is how it looks as the center piece slides out.

このカードは、ウォーターフォールカードとよばれ、このＳＣＳチュートリアルを参考に作りました。

The sentiment says "It takes both rain and sunshine to make a Rainbow" (It's so true!)
言葉を訳すと、「雨とお日様の光の両方が無くては、虹は作れない｣(妙に納得）

TSG Year Round Sentiments

Hello everyone~
It's already December! I can't believe a new year is coming around the corner already!
I've enjoyed playing with the new sets from There She Goes. They are available in TSG store now!!

もう１２月ですね。新年まで、もう１ヶ月も無いなんて。。。時間が経つのって、とても早いですね。
There She Goesからの新しいセットで、また作ってみました。新商品も、ＴＳＧのお店で、発売開始になりました！！


I used Year Round Sentiments for these cards. I love the stamp set like this because I can use all year long :)
I used the same layout for both cards and I picked the colors with 2 same color group and 2 neutrals (Holiday card- 2 blues, white and gray, Valentine card - 2 reds, white and black)

I only made 2 cards so far but I'm planning to make them with the different theme and give to my friend as a little Christmas gift. What do you think?

上のカードは、Year Round Sentiments を使っています。１年通して使えるスタンプセットなので、とても使い勝手がありますね。
両方のカードとも、同じレイアウトにしてみました。色は、２色同じ色と、２色のナチュラルカラーを組み合わせています(ホリデーカードは、同じ青系２色、白とグレー、バレンタインカードは、同じ赤系２色、白と黒）。

今の所、この２枚しか作っていませんが、同じレイアウトで違うテーマのカードを作って、セットにしてお友達にクリスマスプレゼントにしようと考案中です。
