FTTC202 - Something NEW

Happy Tuesday everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC202)! It is Denise's turn to host and she is challenging a perfect one for the new year :) The challenge is to make something "new".  You can use some new stamps, make a card with a happy new year sentiment, or take a card you've made in the past and make it new by recreating it with some changes/improvements. You can interpret the "new" theme however you wish!
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

I used one of newest stamp set and die set, Winter Blossoms  and Perfectly Pieced Classic Window die. It is so fun to color Marcella's beautiful images! All of new dies are super elegant and beautiful, totally the Flourishes style :)
The image was colored with Copic markers and the card was designed with CME Crocus cardstock collection, classic white cardstock and the MME designer papers. To finish off, I embellished with the white lace trim, CME ribbon elderberry with kraft jute & flower embellishment and pearls.

Copic colors I used for this project:

Hello there,
I have another fun blog hop from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps!
Welcome to Day 3's SNSS January Release Features Blog Hop!

Today's Feature is Cocoa's Heart! This is perfect for your Valentine's Day projects or any love themes! Plus, Cocoa and Cookie are always darn so cute, aren't they? :)

Here is my card using the set.
I colored the image with Copic markers. The rest of the card was created with Valentine's theme designer papers and heart elements, like heart edger punch & heart rhinestones. I like how the color combo worked this Cocoa & Cookie's image and it is also my favorite color combo for V-Day project :)

SNSS January Release Features Day 2

Hello everyone~
Welcome to Day 2 of Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps January Release Features!!

Today's feature is a beautiful silhouette stamp, Long Stem Silhouettes.

This lovely set will help you create beautiful and classy cards with ease. It's perfect for many techniques and CAS projects, too.  You'll use those gorgeous sentiments over and over again!

Set includes 3 images and 6 sentiments
Set measures approximately 6"x4"
Images measure approximately 3.75" high x less than 1.5" wide
Illustrated by Korin Sutherland

Here is my card using the set.

As soon as I receive the set, I just had to combine with the vase punch by Marvy Uchida. The vase worked perfectly with the stem image! I cannot wait to create more with the set! The fun ideas just keep coming up in my head, lol!

SNSS January Release Day!!

Hello and happy Friday everyone~
I know I was a little late to jump in this announcement but better than nothing, right?

The SNSS Design Divas have been busy little bees creating with our new stamps and we are so excited to finally be sharing them with you!

We are doing things a bit differently with this release but we are sure you are going to love the changes...

Instead of doing the typical new release blog hop, we'll be doing 5 mini hops over 5 days (Saturday Jan 5th - Sunday, Jan 9th) at Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps Blog.  We want each set to have it's own day to shine, plus you will have a chance to WIN each set over the 5 days of features!  How fun is that? :)

Here is one of my sample using From Bottom of My Heart set. It was shown at SNSS Blog post 2 days ago.

After you're done shopping for new stamps, head over to our Member Company Forum at Splitcoaststampers for our January Release Virtual Stamp Day.  We've planned 5 fun challenges for you plus more prize opportunities!

The challenge schedule is as follows:
10am EST - CAS Challenge hosted by Bridget
12pm EST - Color Challenge hosted by Cathy
2pm EST - Inspiration Challenge hosted by Mary
4pm EST - Sketch Challenge hosted by Ceal
6pm EST -  Theme Challenge hosted by Monika

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge (FTTC200)! It is my turn to host and I am challenging you to make an ornament or any 3D project that is decorated on a Christmas tree.
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

My ornament was used Petals & Peace set. I also used the coordinating die, Classic Keyhole die set and Spellbinders dies to design the ornament. The image was stamped with Memento tuxedo black on classic white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped on the vellum paper. To finish off, I embellished the rhinestones and gold ribbon for the hanging.

SNSS Graceful Calla Lily

Hello everyone~
I have one card to show you today. I made this for the Sweet 'N Sassy Blog post and it was used the colors that were Sandy Hook Elementary school colors (Green & White). I am still sad about what happened there last Friday, but instead of depressing about it, I keep praying for the parents, family and friend who have lost those precious lives. I hope they will find some peace and comfort one day.

All we have right now is truly a gift. We are promised nothing. I need to remind of myself to be thankful & grateful what we have had and for what is left every single day.

I used Graceful Calla Lily set for the card. The image was colored with Copic markers. I usually use E40, 41, 43 to get more depth on white image. To finish off, I simply tied the ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Cards & SCS Challenges

Hello everyone~
I had a couple cards I want to show you today! I have submitted a couple challenges from Splitcoaststampers with them. All stamped images and sentiments of both cards are from Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps.

The first card (above) was used Snow Special set and I used the color combination from Color Combination Challenge 405 (CC405). I stamped the snowman with light shade ink (Memento desert sand) and colored with Copic markers. My coloring skill are not that great but I like the soft look that lighter ink brings...It almost looks like it was water colored.

The next card was used Poinsettia set and used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 415 (SC415).  I found a beautiful holiday paper and I cut it to the word "Merry Bright" was on the bottom of card. The image was colored with Copic markers and I added the ribbon to dress up the mat. To finish off, I simply stamped the greeting on the top of the card.

At last but not least, one more Christmas card! I actually made this one for a while ago but I never posted on my blog. I used Christmas Candle set. The card was used the sketch from Sketch Challenge 413 (SC413). The image was die cut with the coordinating die, Christmas Light Candle die.  I fuss cut the greeting and added the tea roses for the embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.

FTTC199 - Non-Traditional Christmas

Hello everyone~
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge (FTTC199)!! I took a few weeks off from this challenge but I am glad to be back! I hope you remember me, lol.

It is Ally's turn to host and she is challenging us to make a Christmas/holiday card with non traditional Christmas colors - no red or green here ;)
Please visit Flourishes blog for more information about the challenge.

For my card, I used purple and blue. The stamp image was from Peace & Joy set and I stamped it on the classic white cardstock with Memento tuxedo black. It was colored with Copic markers. The rest of the card was created with  CME Crocus paper collection and MME designer paper.  For the embellishments, I used the white scalloped lace trim and light blue crochet lace. Then the silver swirl rhinestones were dressed on them to finish off.

Copic colors I used for this project:
