CC199 New Year Cards

Hello everyone~
New Year's day is almost coming!! I hope you will have a wonderful New Year's eve and year 2009. My family and I are going to have a little New Year's eve party at my place :)
Before the things get too busy, I decided to make New Year's cards. These cards are used SCS Color Combination challenge199 (CC199).

皆さん、こんにちは～
お正月まで、もう少しですね。皆さんが、良い年を迎えられることを願っています。私と家族は、ここで小さな忘年会をする予定です。事が忙しくなる前に、年賀カードを作ってみました。どちらも、SCSのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１９９ (CC199)を使っています。




This card is also used SCS Sketch challenge 208 (SC208). I needed to make a card for my DH's friend whose Christmas card from us was missing during the delivery. I hope he will get this one :) The scene is watching the first sunrise of the year. Watching the first sunrise of the year is a kind of the Japanese tradition.

I stamped the pick-up truck and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The scene was made with the masking and sponging techniques. Then I stamped the trees and the sentiment.

最初のカードは、SCSのスケッチチャレンジ２０８ (SC208)も使いました。クリスマスカードを送ったのに、届かなかった主人の友達の為に、このカードを送る予定です。今度は、無事に届きますように！
風景のセッティングは、初日の出を見に、山へドライブした設定です。私の知合いも、毎年富士山に初日の出を見に行ってました。

トラックのスタンプを捺した後、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付けました。風景は、マスキングとスポンジのテクニックを使って作りました。その後、杉の木と、言葉をスタンプしました。

Paper: handsome hunter, so saffron, bravo burgundy, whisper white (SU)

Ink: Palette noir black (Superior), various SU inks, Prismacolor pencils (Sanford)

Accessories: ribbon (SU)

I made the next card for another New Year's card. But I just noticed it could be used any celebrations ;)

The martini image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with detailed gold embossing powder. And it was traced with VersaMark pen. The embossed layer was made with CB embossing folder and distressed a little with the sanding block.

次のカードも、同じく年賀カードです。でもよく見たら、どのお祝いにも使えそうですね(笑）

マルティーニのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付けました。言葉は、ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋで捺してから、ディテールゴールドエンボスパウダーを使って、ヒートエンボスしました。その後、ＶｅｒｓａＭａｒｋペンで、その上をなぞっています。ドライエンボスしたレイヤーは、カトルバグのエンボスフォールダーを使い、サンドブロックで表面を少しこすりました。
