KS Monday – July 12th, 2010

SONY DSC

Hello and happy Monday, everyone~

I haven’t updated my blog for a few days…it’s been one busy week. Today, my daughter is leaving for her first Cheer Camp!! She is so excited and I know she is going to have a fantastic time with her teammates…but  I can’t help but being worried about her because that’s what Moms do, right? LOL!

After helping her pack, I managed to have some stamp time. (Yay!)  I decided to play Curtain Call Color Challenge (ACT38) for today’s card. I know it’s still very hot outside here but I was in the mood for the next season – Autumn :):) I used Multi Step Pumpkins set for the pumpkin image. The word “Blessing” is from Multi Step Harvest and the deco images beside the word are from Plaid Plus! The scallop borders were created with the EK Success border punch…I love those big scallops :)

These are the steps I did for each image (All inks are Memento):
(pumpkins) 1st – cantaloupe, 2nd – tangelo, 3rd – potter’s clay (1 x stamp off), 4th – potter’s clay, 5th – rich cocoa (1 x stamp off), repeat 5th step

(leaves & vines) 3rd – bamboo leaves , 2nd – bamboo leaves (1 x stamp off), repeat 2nd step, 1st – new sprout, 4th – cottage ivy (1 x stamp off)

(stems) 1st – new sprout, 2nd – bamboo leaves

(flowers) dandelion (1 x stamp off), 2nd – cantaloupe, 3rd – tangelo (1 x stamp off), 4th tangelo
