CC217 -- Flower Soft...Great stuff!

Hello everyone~
I'm running a little behind for updating my blog. I've made a few cards but I just don't have a time to take and edit the photos and type words.

ブログの更新が遅れ気味です。カードは何枚か作ってあるんですが、写真を撮って編集したり、文字をタイプする時間がなかなか作れません(汗）

My friends came to stamp with me yesterday! What a fun!! Carolyn led me use this cute Magnolia Stamps and Flower Soft. I also got to color it with Copics during their visiting. After they left, I checked SCS Color Combination Challenge 217 (CC217) and I smiled :) The colors I used for the image were almost the same colors of the challenge!! Talkin' about a coincidence, lol.
Anyway, it was my first try for Flower Soft and I really love it! I'm already thinking to get different mixed colors so my friends can share with me next time :) :) :)

昨日は、友達がスタンプをしに、家に来てくれました。とっても楽しかったです!!Carolynさんが、この可愛いマグノリアスタンプと、Flower Softを使わせてくれたので、彼女達が訪問中に、コピックで色を塗りました。
彼女達が帰った後、SCSのカラーコンビネーションチャレンジ217（CC217)をチェックした後、思わず二コリ＾ｖ＾　何とイメージに使った色が、チャレンジの色と同じだったのです。とっても嬉しい偶然でした(笑）
話は変わって、Flower Softは、今回初めて使ったんですが、かなり楽しいです。近いうちに違う色のミックスを購入しようと思っています。そうすれば、友達と又シェアできるしネ：）

Mojo Monday 68

Hello everyone~
Did you enjoy Verve's release party last night? I was not the party because I was making the card above for Verve's Mojo Monday 68 ;) (Mojo68) However, I checked the new stamps at Verve Stamps shop site and they are fabulous!! I may have to break my 2009 resolution -- SAVING MONEY :-0

昨夜のＶｅｒｖｅのリリースパーティーは参加しましたか?私は、パーティーではなく、VerveのMojo Mondayチャレンジ６８（Mojo68)の、上のカードを作っていました。でも、新しいスタンプは、ちゃんとVerve Stampsでチェックしました。う～ん、どうやら今年の抱負 --「貯金」を今月もう破ってしまうかもしれません:-0

I colored the darling Magnolia Stamps images with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also used Twinkling H20s for shading. Then I trimmed and mounted them on the border to look like they were sitting.

この可愛らしいマグノリアスタンプのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付け、Twinkling H20sを使って影を付けました。それから鋏で切りとり、ボーダーの部分に、座っているように貼り付けました。

What?! No Embellies?!!

Hello everyone~
Did you notice that this card is anything different? Since you already saw the title of today's post, you probably figured it out. Yes, I didn't use any embellisments -- no brads, ribbons, prima flowers, buttons, rhinestones, etc.
Why did I make this card with no embellies? Because this card was for Limited Supplies challenge 188 -- NO EMBELLISHMENTS!

The good thing was that we were allowed to use paper related things like paper piercer, nesties, punches, crimper, cardstock, designer papers, ink, markers, pens, cuttlebug, etc.

皆さん、こんにちは。
今日のカードは、どこかいつもと違います。それは、何でしょうか?多分、タイトルを読んで、もうお気づきだと思いますが、何とこの私が、ブラッド、リボン、プリマのお花、ボタン、ラインストーンなどのエンベリッシュメントを一切使っていません！何でエンベリを付けないカードを作ったかというと、リミットサプライチャレンジ188 - ノーエンベリッシュメントで作ったカードだったからです。

良かった事といえば、穴あけ、ネスティー、パンチ、クリンパー、カードストック、デザイナーペーパー、インク、マーカー、ペン、カトルバグなどの紙関係の材料やツールを使っても大丈夫だった事です。


This image from Magnolia was colored with Copic markers a few days ago, and she's been staring at me since then :) I finally decided to make a card with her.
I punched out the oval and scalloped oval with Nestabilities. For the front of the card, I trimmed the card base and punched the border with the decorated scallop border punch. I also used the Cuttlebug die for the decorated photo corners.

I decorated the inside of the card with the dp, the mushroom borders that were colored with Copic markers, and the sentiment. The sentiment panel is also used for keeping the card from opening.

Magnoliaの女の子のイメージは、２-３日前にコピックマーカーで色付けしたままで、それから、ずっと彼女に見つめられていました(*^_^*)　なので、彼女を使ってカードを作る事にしました。
オーバルとスカロップ型のオーバルは、ネスタビリティーでくり抜いています。カードの表は、カードのベース部分を少し切り落とし、ファンシーなスカロップボーダーパンチで、ボーダーを作りました。ファンシーなフォトコーナーは、カトルバグのダイを使っています。

カードの中は、デザイナーペーパー、コピックで色付けしたキノコのボーダー、そして言葉を使って、デコレートしました。言葉のパネルは、カードを閉じる用にも活用しています。

Paper: baja breeze, chocolate chip, really rust, designer papers (Stampn' Up!), watercolor paper (Strathmore)

Accessories: CB decorated corners (Provo Crafts), border punch (Martha Stewart), other punches (Stampin' Up!) Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

I admit....I love challenges!! I wish I didn't have to sleep so that I could try all of the challenges, lol. And I also admit..... I have so many cards I haven't uploaded on my blog. I 'm working on catching up in the next few days to upload the cards I made for the last couple of months. I already uploaded them on my SCS gallery if you want to check them out!

告白します・・・私、チャレンジが大好きです！眠らなくてもいい体だったら、全てのチャレンジに挑戦できるのに～(笑）そして、これも告白します・・・ブログにまだ載せていないカードが沢山あります。

You can check the sketch for this card here. I colored the image with the reinkers and watercolor brush. I used some new In-Color and designer papers from Stampin' Up! Aren't they so pretty?
The stamp set is the one of the free stamp sets for Hostess. It is the one of my favorite stamp set in the new idea book & catalog. I just love the detailed stamps. It's so fun to color!!
このカードのスケッチは、こちらでチェックできます。メインのイメージは、インカーと水彩筆を使って色を付けました。Stampin' Up! から出た新しいインカラーの色と、デザイナーペーパーを使っています。とってもすてきなデザイン～。そして、このスタンプセットは、ホステスへのフリースタンプで、新しいカタログの中で気に入っている１つです。最近、色を塗るのが好きなので、細かい描写のスタンプのものが結構気に入っています。

This card is for SCS's Way To Use It 177 challenge. The challenge is to use scraps.
I had a ton of scraps, and I don't like to throw away. This challenge is a really great idea and I should do it from time to time to ged rid of some scarps.
I cut the scraps from Ginger Blossoms with 1" square punch and adhered them on the back panel. I also found the scraps for the borders, the flowers to add on the card. The main image was colored with Stampin' markers and the watercolor brush.
このカードは、ＳＣＳのWay To Use It 177のチャレンジで作ったものです。チャレンジは、「スクラップを使う」
沢山のスクラップ、家にもあります。でも捨てられないんですよね～。このチャレンジは、スクラップを消費するのに、とてもよいアイディアなので、時々やってみようと思っています。
Ginger Blossomsのスクラップを１インチの四角のパンチを使って切取り、バックのパネルに貼り付けました。ボーダーと、お花もスクラップから見つけたので、追加で貼り付けました。メインのイメージは、Ｓｔａｍｐｉｎ’　マーカーで色を付けた後、水彩筆を使って、少しぼかしました。

LSC179


This card is for SCS's Limited Supplies challenge 179. The challenge is to make a card make someone smile.

I love this owl from Papertrey Ink. Every time I stamp it, it makes me smile. You cannot help smiling this innocent owl, can you?

I stamped the owl, branch, and flowers on the white cardstock. When I adhered them on the background, I made a little alternation for the branch and the one of the flower to look like the owl broke them.
The owl and grass were colored with Copic markers. The sky were sponged with aqua mist ink.
このカードは、ＳＣＳのリミットサプライチャレンジ１７９で作ったものです。チャレンジは、｢思わず笑みが出てしまうカードを作る」
Papertrey Inkのこのフクロウが大好きで、スタンプをする度に、微笑んでしまいます。皆さんも、この無垢なフクロウを見て、思わず笑みが(笑）出てるかな？
フクロウ、枝、お花を白のカードストックにスタンプし、バックのパネルに貼り付けました。枝とお花の１つは、少し小細工をして、ふくろうが重すぎて枝が折れ、花も折っちゃった状態に見せるようにしました。
フクロウと地面は、コピックで色を付け、空は、水色のインクをスポンジでぼかしました。

IC139


SCS's Inspiration Challenge 139 would be the one of my favorite inspirations!! You can check the Pink Lemonade Bags here. I took my inspiration from this bag.

On the pink cardstock, I stamped Doodle This stamp set with the black ink. And then I colored them with Stampin' markers for the more details.
I mounted the ribbon and stamped the sentiment with the white craft ink. I used white gel pen for the faux stitches.
My favorite part of the creation was that it took only 10-15 minutes to make this card!

ＳＣＳのインスピレーションチャレンジ１３９は、私の中で、今までで一番気に入ったインスピレーションだと思います。Pink Lemonade バックは、こちらでチェックできます。私は、このバックをインスピレーションにカードを作りました。

ピンクのカードストックに、Doodle This のスタンプを黒のインクで捺し、Ｓｔａｍｐｉｎ’マーカーで色を付けました。リボンを付け、言葉を白のピグメントインクで捺し、白のジェルペンを使って、フェイクステッチを書いてます。
この製作過程で１番良かった点は、製作時間に１０-１５分しか掛からなかったことです！

OCC Christmas In July challenge




I made this card for Our Creative Corner challenge. The challenge is Christmas In July. In the craft world, July is the great month to start working for the Holiday season. I saw my local craft stores started decorating the Christmas trees. Some of people think it's still so early to think about Christmas but it's always nice to plan ahead, isn't it?

I used the designer papers for the card and the colors were chosen from the ones on the paper.
The snowman was stamped with Brillance black ink and colored with Copic markers. It was added some drizzles with frosted lace Stickles (love it!)
The sentiment was stamped with cranberry crisp ink on the white cardstock and I cut it with my xacto knife.

このカードは、Our Creative Corners チャレンジで作ったものです。テーマは、「７月のクリスマス」でした。クラフトの世界は、７月からホリデーシーズンに向けて活動し始めます。近くのクラフト店でも、クリスマスツリーを飾り始めました。人によっては、今からクリスマスの事を考えるなんて早すぎると思う人もいると思いますが、早めに始めるのは、個人的には余裕が出来て良いことだと思います。

カード全体に、デザイナーペーパーを使いました。色もこの紙からの色を使っています。
スノーマンは、黒のブリリアンスでスタンプし、コピックで色を付けました。後は、frosted laceのスティックル(お勧めです！）を使っています。
言葉は、白のカードストックに、クランベリー色のインクで捺し、工作用のカッターで切り取りました。

OCC Sketch Challenge


This is for another Our Creative Corner challenge. The sketh for the challenge is here.
I was inspired the card by Lynda Benden from OCC. I made the ocean waves for the wave on the sketch, just like Lynda did.
I used Prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color the girl. I cut her out and mounted on the central panel.
These desiner papers are from KI Memories. I bought them about 5-6 years ago. I think they are really fun for the summer theme. I don't know why I didn't use them until now....

デザイナーペーパーは、５-６年前に買ったＫＩ Memoriesのペーパーです。今まで使う事が無かったんですが、夏のテーマにピッタリの楽しいデザインだなと、改めて思いました。何で今まで使わなかったんだろう・・・・。

今日は、３つのカードをアップしておきます。

WT180 & LSC182 challenge

I combined 2 challenges to this card.
SCS's Way To Use It challenge 180 is to tear the paper(s) and Limited Supplies challenge 182 is to use the stamp set and material you haven't use for a long time.

I stamped the tea cup and flowers with StazOn and colored them with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol (I just dipped the pencils in the gamsol and colored). For the tea cup panel, I used hand tearing. The designer paper was distressed with distressing tool. The mulberry paper was torn with using water. I sponged the Distress dye inks on the all papers for distressing.

このカードは、２つのチャレンジを組み合わせました。
ＳＣＳのWay To Use It チャレンジ１８０は、作品に破った紙、ディストレスした紙を使うチャレンジで、リミットサプライチャレンジ１８２は、暫く使っていないスタンプや、材料を使うチャレンジです。

ティーカップとお花は、ＳｔａｚＯｎでスタンプをし、プリズマカラーとモルツベンで色を付けました(色鉛筆を直接モルツベンに浸してから、色を塗りました）。ティーカップのパネルは手で破り、パターンペーパーは、ディストレッサーディストレスしました。繊維紙は、水で塗らしてから手でちぎってます。
全ての紙は、ディストレスインクを使ってスポンジで色を付け、ディストレスしました。

Stamps: Tea Cups & Pansies (Stampin' Up!)

Paper: elegant eggplant, more mustard, very vanilla, mulberry paper, designer paper (Stampin' Up!)

Ink: StazOn (Tuskineko), Distress inks (Ranger), Prismacolor pencils (Sanford)

Accessories: brads (We R Memory Keepers), distressing tools (Tonic), photo coner punch (Stampin' up!)

このカードも２つのチャレンジを組み合わせました。
ＳＣＳのスケッチチャレンジ１９０はこちらで見ることが出来ます。

I really like the color combo and sketch! The triangle panels are dry embossed the embossing folders. The elephant, the ear and the flower were stamped on the white cardstock. I cut and pieced them together. I put the embellishments to make it more girly.

My sister-in-law is having a baby anytime now. If the baby is a girl, this is going to be sent to her. I wish I could fly to Japan and see them.... I hope my SIL and the new baby are going to be fine.

今回のカラーコンビとスケッチ、結構気に入っています。三角のパネルは、エンボスフォルダーでドライエンボスしました。ゾウさん、耳、そしてお花は、白のカードストックにスタンプし、夫々切り取り、張り合わせました。カード全体をもう少し女の子っぽく見せる為に、エンベリを付けました。

義姉が只今妊娠中で、いつ産んでもいい状態です。もし赤ちゃんが女の子なら、このカードを送りたいと思っています。日本に飛んで帰って会いたいな～。母子共に何事もありませんように。

WT179 Challenge


SCS's Way To Use It challenge 179 was to use Copics. I just started to collect Copics. I colored the girl and leaves with Copics. I'm still learning shading but it was so fun to color this cute girl from Magnolia Stamps. I cut out the girl and mount it on the leaves to look like she was sittng on them.
I used Stickles on the wings and the applique on the pants.

ＳＣＳのWay To Use Itチャレンジ１７９は、コピックを使うチャレンジでした。私も、コピックを最近集め始めたばかりです。女の子と葉っぱは、コピックで色を付けました。まだ、影をつけたりするのを習得中ですが、マグノリアスタンプの可愛らしい女の子に色を付けていくのがすごく楽しいかったです。それから、、女の子を切り取って、葉っぱの上に座っているように貼り付けました。羽とパンツのアップリケにＳｔｉｃｋｌｅｓを付けてあります。

Origami Folding

I made this card for SCS's Technique Lover's challenge 179. Origami was a part of my childhood play. It's so fun that I still get to play for paper crafting!
The girl image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
このカードは、テクニックラバーチャレンジ１７９で作ったものです。折り紙は、子供の頃からよく好きで遊んでいました。今もペーパークラフトで、折り紙を使って楽しんでいます。
女の子は、プリズマカラーペンシルとモルツベンで色を付けました。

Color Combinations Challenge 173
カラーコンビネーションチャレンジ１７３



This monkey and sentiment are from Stampendous. The color combinations was not something I would grab, but it was the great colors!! I just got some new tools -- Nestabilities!! I can't believe I didn't get them sooner!! They are really awesome die-cuts!
The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The background is dry embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder.
このお猿さんと言葉は、Ｓｔａｍｐｅｎｄｏｕｓのものです。色の組み合わせは、普段私が使おうと思う色の組み合わせではありませんが、結構好い感じの色ですね。このカードで、新しいツール--ネスタビリティーを使いました。今まで、購入しなかったのが信じられない位、お勧めのツールです！！
イメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとガムソル(モルツベン）で色付けをして、バックグランドは、カトルバグのエンボスフォールダーでドライエンボスをしました。

Sketch Challenge 183
スケッチチャレンジ１８３

This cute girl is Rachelle Anne Miller collection from Stampavie. I got it from Sassy 'n Sweet Stamps.
First, I colored the girl with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I sponged some rusty color on the main panel for distressing. Next, I chose what colors to use for the cardstocks.
I used Nestabillities here too. I put the tiny pearls on the flowers.
この可愛い女の子は、StampavieのRachelle Anne Millerコレクションからのです。私は、Sassy 'n Sweet Stampsで購入しました。
初めに、女の子をプリズマカラーペンシルとガムソルで色をつけ、赤茶色のインクをスポンジして、ディストレスしました。それから、何色のカードストックを使うか決め、全体をこの様な色にしました。ここでもネスタビリティーを使っています。花には、小さいパールを付けてあります。

The colors are so yummy and almost made me eat sweets, lol. This OCC challenge was a sketch challenge. These challenges helps me save my time. I'm very behind for sending birthday cards, and needed to make ones really quickly.
The background was made with Scor-Pal-- another awesome tool I love. I colored Tilda with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I sponged with the salmon color around her.
Yes, again I used Nestabillities. I did paper pierced on the scallops.
すごく美味しそうな色合いで、甘い物が欲しくなる色です(笑）今回のＯＣＣのチャレンジは、スケッチチャレンジでした。この様なチャレンジを組み合わせることで、少ない時間でカードを作ることができます。バースデーカードが送りそびれていたので、短時間で同じカードを何枚か作りました。
バックグランドは、Scor-Pal --これも私のお気に入りのお役立ちツールを使って、折り線を付ける様に、模様を作りました。Ｔｉｌｄａちゃんは、プリズマカラーペンシルとガムソルを使って色付けし、サーモンピンクのインクを彼女の周りにスポンジしました。
そして、ここでも又ネスタビリティーを使い、スカロップの部分には、穴を開けました。

This sketch is very creative!! I love how 1 big square and 3 small squares are placed.
I just got these stamps from Magnolia's Stamp Club! They are so darling!! My new passion about cute stamps are started from Tilda!!
The card size is 5 1/8" x 7".
I colored the main image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol (I didn't notice I used this technique for all cards unitl now, lol) The colors are based the patterned paper on the background.
I think the flowers and the rick-rack ribbon made the card well balanced.
And you are probably tired of now, but... again I used Nestabillities for the squares!!
このスケッチは、とてもクリエイティブですね。大きな正方形と、３つの小さな正方形の並べ方が、とっても素敵だと思いました。
Magnolia's Stampクラブから届いた中に入っていたスタンプです。とっても可愛らしいイメージで、私の可愛いスタンプに対するマイブーム(古い?)は、Ｔｉｌｄａちゃんから始まったようなものです！！
このカードのサイズは、５ 1/8インチ x ７インチです。
メインのイメージは、プリズマカラーペンシルとガムソル(今、全てのカードをこのテクニックをしようしている事に気付きました！）で色を付けました。色は、バックグランドで使ったパターンペーパーの色が基になっています。
花とリックラックを付けた事で、カードのバランスが良くなったと思います。
そして、多分もう飽きたとは思いますが・・・・ここでも又、四角のネスタビリティーを使いました！！

I'm little behind...

Hello~
Today, I have 2 cards to show you. I'm little behind for the all challenges I play.
Every challenges are so exciting to try, and I really like to try all!!! But I just don't have enough time to do all of them within the same day the challenges were posted.
It's not like I'm very busy. I'm just slow...like turtles. But it's very sure I enjoy everything of the creating process from start to finish.

今日は、２つのカードを載せておきます。参加している全てのチャレンジに、少し遅れ気味です。どのチャレンジも楽しそうでやってみたいものばかり。でもチャレンジがでた日と同じ日に完成させるには、時間が足りません・・・。
別にすごく忙しいって訳ではなく、私が亀のように遅いだけです。でも、作り初めから完成するまでの楽しさをじっくり堪能してはいますけど・・・。


Now, back to 2 cards I made....
The first card is for the challenge from Our Creative Corner (OCC). The talented stampers just started this weekly challenge. I'm sure there are more fun challenges to come, and I'm very looking forward to playing.

Isn't that such a cute image? The Stamp is from Magnolia Stamps. I purchased some of their stamps from Crafty Krafts. I just love the word "ON SALE", lol!!
I colored the image with Copics and paper pieced her shirt. Some Stickles on the wings,　little touching with Signo white gel pen, distressing, dry embossing and embellishments were used for the final touch.

可愛いイメージでしょう～？マグノリアスタンプからのスタンプです。他にいくつかのスタンプもCrafty Kraftsから購入しました。セールという言葉に引き寄せられちゃいました(笑）
イメージは、コピックマーカーで色を付け、シャツはペーパーピースをしました。羽にStickles、白のシグノジェルペン、少しのディストレス、ドライエンボス、そしてエンベリッシュメントをつけ完成させました。

これが今回のカラーと私が作ったカードです。





I know, I know, it's a little too early for showing Christmas cards!! But I think this is very pretty color combos for snowflakes and winter scenes.
I made 2 panels using The Snowflake Spot stamp set with soft sky and off-stamped creamy caramel. I stamped "JOY" on the one panel and punched out with scalloped circle punch. I layered it on another punched-out Kraft piece and adhered with dimensional adhesives on the snowflake panel.
I did some distressing, doodling and tie the ribbon to finish the card.

はいはい、クリスマスカードの時期には少し早いのは承知してま～す(笑）でも、雪や冬のシーンにこの色合いがすごく素敵だな～と思い作ってしまいした。
２枚のパネルに、The Snowflake Spotのセットをsoft sky, オフスタンプをしてcreamy caramelのインクを使って捺し、1枚のパネルに「ＪＯＹ」を捺した後、スカロップサークルパンチで切り抜き、スカロップ型にくり抜いたクラフト紙に貼りました。それを、もう１枚のスノーフレークのパネルにポップアップステッカーを使い貼りました。
全体にディストレス、ドゥードルをし、リボンを付け、カードを仕上げてあります。
