SC226 -- from our home

Hello everyone~
Today's card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 226 (SC226). Before I checked the sketch, these trio colors were already stacked in my head and I insisted to use them in the sketch, lol.
I ordered the SU set, Scene in a Garden more than a month ago and didn't inked until today. I think these little boots are so cute.

このStampin' Up!

The images from Scene in a Garden were stamped on the kraft mat .
I then stamped the same images on the watercolor paper and colored them with Stampin' markers and Aqua painter. And I adhered them over the stamped images on the kraft mat.
The turquoise, red and vanilla mats were textured with Texturz plates (SU backgrounds 1).

Scene in a Gaden

Stamps: Scene in a Garden, Bella's Bloom (SU)
Paper: very vanilla, tempting turquoise, real red, kraft (SU), dark chocolate (PTI), watercolor paper (Strathmore)
Ink: chocolate chip, basic brown, Stampin' markers (SU)
Accessories: brads, ribbon (SU)

Tools: texturs plates SU Background 1 (SU), Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

Thank you so much for stopping by.

TSG Sneak Peek -- Happy Day

Hello everyone~
It's the final day for There She Goes Sneak Peek Blog Hop Challenge!! If you came from Julie's blog, the next one is me:) If not, you may want to go to Jessica's blog to start this fun!

Today's Sneak Peek is for another wonderful set, Happy Day, designed by Pien DaPino. You are getting 17 cute images and sentiments that make you happy and smile :) :) :)
I started making this card from the sentiment and decided to use the heart and 2 birds for the focal point. The birds were stamped on the vintage cream cardstock and colored with Copics. The tree leaves and the heart were stamped on the polka dots papers and colored with Copics. And I trimmed the tree leaves into a few parts and layered them one to another. I love the patterns translucent through the colors!

Here is the close up

Stamps: Happy Day (There She Goes)
Paper: certainly cerely, lavendar lace, tempting turquoise (SU), vintage cream (PTI), Nana's Nursery Stack (DCWV)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, rich cocoa (Tsukineko), tempting turquioise (SU), Copic markers

CC216, FTTC13

If you came for There She Goes Sneak Peek Blog Hop, Please scroll down. Thank you.

Hello everyone~
It's a gloomy rainy day here in Texas. My mood is nothing related to the weather but I'm very scared about swine flu... Please, please be careful, everyone, especially my friends in Texas. I really hope the flu won't spread so much...I know I'm so helpless in this point...

OK, enough for whining!
I made this poppy card for my FIRST submission to Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC13). I also found SCS Color Combination challenge216 (CC216) was the combo I wanted to try. Perfect!! Kill two birds with one stone :)
The image was colored with dye inks (reinkers) and aqua painters. I layered just the poppy flower to give more dimensions. The pearls are so sticky and I think they like to stick to my fingers than papers, lol.

Stamps: Poppy Patch, Ornamental Elements (Flourishes), sentiment (PTI)
Paper: real red, basic black, old olive (SU), vintage cream (PTI)
Ink: India Black (Superior), real red, old olive, always artichoke, summer sun (SU), Distress fired brick (Ranger)
Accessories: pearls (Michael's)

Tools: Nestabilities (Spellbinders), eyelet border punch (SU), CB embossing folder (Provo Crafts)

Thank you for stopping by~

TSG Sneak Peek -- A-Z and 123

Hello everyone~
Looks like She's A Lady is a hit!! How about another There She Goes Sneak Peek Blog Hop? If you came from Julie's blog, you are on the right track. If not, You may want to start from Jessica's blog for this fun event :)

Today's Sneak Peek is something for everybody. It's called "A-Z and 123". It's the most famous TSG alphabets along with numbers, punctuations and circles. The set is loaded with 70 stamps!! I already see I'm going to be fun with customizing my gift and cards with using it and of course, it's going to be great for scrapbooking, too!

For my card, I used the circles for the background, and the letters for the sentiment from the set. The star stamp is from Tweeterpated set. It was perfectly fit in the circle :)

I kept the same pattern to the inside of the card and then I stamped the sentiment with Holidays Galore. The gridline acrylic block on the photo is also the one of the new products from TSG next month, yay!!

Stamps: A-Z and 123, Tweeterpated, Holidays Galore (There She Goes)
Paper: bravo burgundy, basic black (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), bravo burgundy (SU)
Accessories: ribbon (Hobby Lobby), brads (SU)

Tools: Nestabilities (Spellbinders), CB embossing folder (Provo Crafts)

So, why don't you hop over to Silke's blog? I'm sure she will please you with her fabulous Sneak Peek! TSG Sneak Peek - She's A Lady

Welcome to There She Goes Sneak Peek - Day 1 and Blog Hop Challenge!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. If you came from Julie's blog, you hopped the right place. If not, you may want to start the hop from Jessica's blog.

I'm so excited that the new products are going be added to TSG store including 3 new sets :) Today, we are going to show you the fabulous set, "She's A Lady", designed by Pien DaPino, available on May 1st. For this set, you are getting 14 fabulous images and sentiments including this beautiful lady! You are going to be so much fun coloring :)

My card was inspired by the shopping bags. I thought it would be fun to make a card with a bag. The shopping bag was made from a business size envelop (9 7/16" x 4 1/8"), sealed. I just cut it horizontally in half and used the border punch for the opening. After decorating the bag, I punched the holes and looped the ribbons for the handles. To fit the insert card into the bag, you have to cut it to 4" for the short side.
The lady and bags were colored with Copic. Can you see the bling on her finger? :) :) :)

The great thing about this card is that it still fits to the standard envelop if you want to mail (just be careful when you insert the card if it has the dimensional and layers.

She's A Lady (There She Goes)
Paper: raspberry fizz, dark chocolate, white cardstock(PTI), Sultry dp (Basic Gray), envelop (Mead)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), raspberry fizz (PTI), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon-chocolate chip (SU), ribbon- pink (Offray), rhinestones (Michael's), Stickles (Ranger)

Tools: scallop border punch, oval punch, scallop oval punch (SU), crop-a-dile (WRMK), Nestabilities (Spellbinders)

So, why don't you hop over to Silke's blog next? I'm sure she will have a fabulous creation to show you :) Here is the blog hop list just in case you get lost.

IC177 & OCCC

Hello everyone~
It's going to be a quick post because there are more posts are scheduled after this.
I made this card for SCS Inspiration Challenge 177 (IC177) -- Kleenex. There are pretty designs on the tissue boxes and I really enjoyed making it.

I took my inspiration form this:

I also combined Our Creative Corner challenge (OCCC), too. The challenge was to make a card with the favorite color combo. My favorite one is blue and brown just like the inspiration. There are no mistakes for the colors, lol.

I used Nature of Friendship from There She Goes. There are no special techniques for the card. I just stamped, stamped and stamped :)
Speaking of TSG, the Sneak Peeks are going to start midnight on Monday!! I hope come back to see again ;)

スタンプは、There She GoesからのNature of Friendshipを使っています。

Stamps: Nature of Friendship (TSG)
Paper: chocolate chip, baja breeze, Walk in the Park dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: chocolate chip, baja breeze, sahara sand (SU)
Accessories: ribbon (SU), rhinestones (Michael's)

May TSG Challenge

Hello eveyone~

There She Goes Sneak Peeks for May starts in 2 days!! To kick off the fun week, Jessica just posted some new changes.

Please visit here to find out what Jessica's been working on.

I'm so excited to tell you that Jen Tapler is the Guest Trendsetter for May!!! I think many of you already know how talented and sweet she is. It's going to be another fun month for TSG!!

And May TSG Challenge is to show us your very first card you made and your favorite card you have made. To participate the challenge, post those cards on you blog (or gallery) and go to Jessica's blog and add your name to Mr Linky on May TSG Challenge Post. The challenge has to be submitted until midnight on Wednesday, April 29th.

Ok, since I don't have anything to show yet, I decided to post my TSG challenge :)

I don't have the very first card I made anymore so I show you the first card on my SCS gallery.

Well, what do you think? The card size is 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" instead of standard card size. After I found out the card is a little longer than I wanted and I already tied the twine rope on the card, it was too late to trim down, lol. I remember I had to sponge around the main panel because I made the red finger print on the egde :)

My favorite card I've made so far....
There are many cards I love (I'm such a bragger, lol ) but this one I especially had so much fun with making it.

Ok, it's your turn to show us! Thank you for stopping by~

Guess who turned 8!

TGIF everyone~
Another no cards day from me... To tell the truth, I havn't touched stamps for the last couple days!! My DS, Trey is the one of the reasons to keep me out from the stamp room :)

April 23rd is Trey's birthday and he is 8 years old now!!!

He doesn't look a baby anymore although he is always my baby (sigh)... He loves Transformers, Ben 10, Pokemon and Wii. He is very smart (probably smarter than Mommy and Daddy, lol) and his sense of houmor is something God gave him. We believe he was born to be a comedian.

I've been cleaning and shopping for his party. I hope I get to have a time to stamp this weekend. Well, I just want to say "Hi" and I hope you will have a great weekend. xoxo

The photos were taken at Boardwalk, Sherevepot, LA.

Look What My Hubby Made!

Hello everyone! Happy Earth Day :)
This post is nothing to do with Earth Day but I'd like to show what my hubby made last weekend for my stamp room!!

Ta-da!! It's a storage shelf unit with ribbon racks!! The old resident, we bought the house from, left a lot of metal shelves like this. They are heavy duty shelves but looked very industrial like something you used in the garage or storage space. So, my hubby spray painted and added the ribbon rack. I was going to buy the wooden ribbon racks from on-line store but I asked him if he could make them for me before ordering. Not only he made the ribbon rack, he brought the shelves for my papers!!

My hubby just got the welding machine and plasma cutter and the ribbon rack was his first project with using his new toys (tools). He welded one nut to the end of each metal stick to prevent the sticks from sliding off the slots. The slots were cut with the plasma cutter.
I cannot explain any more details how he made because I don't know how he did, lol. The only thing I can say is that the shelf unit turned super awesome and I love it!! I guess I'll keep him another day or two, lol.

These photos are my stamp room. When we built the 2-car car port, we added the storage room and divided into the storage room and the stamp room. There is no window or closet but I really don't need them anyway. I can put more shelves on the wall instead ;) My hubby varnished the unfinished kitchen cabinets and he made the counter top and wall shelves with the furniture quality oak sheets. The details and grains are more beautiful IRL. I still want to add the island so that my daughter and friends can stamp with me, but this space is worked perfect for me right now :)

I think you are getting tired of reading. Thank you for stopping by.

CC215 & Mojo sketches

Hello again!
It was a very pleasant day here in Texas but I stayed inside and stamped, hehe.
I made 2 cards today. Both cards were used SCS Color Combination 215 (CC215) and Mojo Monday Sketches.

This card was used the sketch of Mojo83. There She Goes sells some funny stamp sets and the one from Tastes Like Chicken is the funniest IMO, lol! This trailer is the redneck version of "Pimp My Ride" I hardly name my cards because they get attached more...;) for this one, however, I named it "Pimp My Trailer!" The trailer was colored with Copics and on the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment "don't bother knockin'." I'm wondering if I ever have a circumstance to send it for someone...;)

Stamps: Tastes Like Chicken, Frendship Flowers (There She Goes)
Paper: rose red, pink pirouette, basic gray (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), rose red (SU), Copic markers
Accessories: rhinestones, heart jewels (Q&Co.)

Tools: CB embossing folders, decorative corner punch, border punch (EK Success)

The next one was used the sketch of Mojo82. I had many stamps that would fit on the main panel but this image from My Favorite Things caught my eyes. I just made one card but it would be cool with a gift basket with Spa products :)
The image was colored with Copics and raised with the dimensional adhesives. For the wrought iron corners, I punched them on the scrap and trimmed just swirl parts and adhered them on the card.

Stamps: Annie LaPointe (MFT)
Paper: basic gray, rose red, pink pirouette, Parisian Summer dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (SU), pearls

Tools: Nestabilities, wrought iron coner punch, border punch (EK Success), piercing tool

That's it for now. Thank you for stopping by again.

IC176 -- Inspired by Skeem

Hello everyone~
When I was thinking to update my blog for the cards I made today, I remembered this one is not uploaded yet.
I made it last Saturday for SCS Inspiration challenge 176 (IC176), Skeem. The designs are so beautiful and cool. Definitely inspiring :)
The card was also combined SCS Limited Supplies challegne 216 (LSC216), 1 wheel, 1 stamp, 1 sentiment. It's really hard to see but I used 1 wheel on the blue card base. I cut the oval window with Nestabilities and adhered the white layer behide the card base.

Here is the inspiration I used.

Stamps: Friends 24-7, Baroque Border stampin' around (SU)
Paper: soft sky, basic gray, whisper white (SU)
Ink: soft sky, basic gray (SU), chalk ink (ColorBox)
Accessories: ribbon (Dollar Tree)

Tools: Nestabilities, Sizzlits SU Lots of Tags (SU)

Thank you for stopping by.

For Papa's Birthday...

Hello everyone~
Yesterday, April 18th was my father-in-laws's 60th birthday!! My hubby went to Hobby Lobby and got these Harley Davidson paper kit and asked me to make something special for him. How sweet! So, I made this framed scrapbook layout and card as a gift. I found the frame on the clearance section of Wal-Mart for a while ago and it was only $1.50!! Couldn't resist the awesome deal, hehe.
We also had a little birthday party for him and watched the race after that. The Jones family is a long time big fan of Mark Martin!! It was the perfect way to end my FIL's birthday:) Yay Mark!!

The card was used the sketch from SCS Sketch challenge 224 (SC224). The flaming hearts on the main panel are from LOL Taglines by There She Goes. I just stamped each heart on the PTI designer paper. The snoopy with the motorcycle was colored with Copics and adhered with the dimensional adhesives. The Harley's stickers and the paper were from the kit my DH bought.

Stamps: Snoopy And His Sidekick (Stampabilities), LOL Taglines (There She Goes)
Paper: old olive, pumpkin pie (SU), Harley Davidson dp (EK Success), white cardstock, Everyday Blessings dp (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), old olive (SU), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (Michael's), brads (Making Memories), Harley Davidson symbol and sentiment stikcer (EK Success)

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Verve April Release Week Challenge - part 2

Hello everyone~
I can't believe it's already Saturday!! I didn't come back soon for this post but I didn't forget to uploading 2 more cards for Verve's challenge, lol. The new releases are looked fabulous! I can't wait to get them!

OK, there are the cards I made for the rest of the challenges. The first 2 cards are on the previous post here.

This card was used the sketch from VSAPR3. I just had to use my favorite set from Verve :)
The butterfly was colored with Copics and layered it over the same image. I thought about using the patterned paper but I couldn't find the ones I wanted to use. So, I stamped the little butterfly images on the purple cardstock to make the own patterned paper. I also embossed the white cardstock to give more textures.

Stamps: Beautiful Kindness (Verve Stamps)
Paper: lavender lace, basic black (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (SU), flowers (Prima), brads (JoAnn's) rhinestones

Tools: CB embossing folders, Nestabilities

The next card was used the color combo from VSAPR4. I love the soft subtle colors Julie picked. I also combined SCS Way to Use It challenge 214 (WT214). The challenge was to use a frame(s). I decided to give another try for the ribbon frame that was introduced over Technique Lover's challenge. This is the one I tried before.

The set I used is called Cupcake mix & match from There She Goes. I colored the cake with Copics and layered on the embossed panel. I'm very satisfied how it turned out.

それから、SCSのWay to Use Itチャレンジ214(WT214)も取り入れています。

Stamps: Cupcake mix & match (There She Goes)
Paper: close to cocoa, bashful blue, so saffron, Delicate Dots dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento rich cocoa (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (SU), rhinestones

Tools: Eyelet border punch (SU), CB embossing folder, Nestabilities

Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Verve April Release Week Challenge

Hello everyone~
It's a nice day here in Texas. Not cold or hot... just right :) I had to enjoy this kind of weather before the steaming hot summer comes, lol.

Today's cards are for April 09 Release Week challenge from Verve Stamps. You can check the detail here. The sneak peeks are looked awesome! I can't wait to see the whole new sets :)

This card was used the sketch of VSAPR1. I also used SCS Color Combination 214 (CC214). It's very pretty colors and I got to use my neglected bordering blue, lol. I used the color not so long time ago and I mentioned I didn't like the shade of blue....you know what, I think I start likin' it :) I just needed a time to get used to use the color, lol.

Stamps: Petals & Stems, Flowers of Tomorrow (Verve Stamps)
Paper: pink pirouette, bordering blue, so saffron, Bella Birds dp (SU), vintage cream (PTI)
Ink: pink pirouette, bordering blue, so saffron (SU), Memento rich cocoa (Tsukineko)
Accessories: ribbon, brads (SU), pearls

Tools: Nestabilities, circle punch, word window punch, Sizzix texturz plates (SU), butterfly punch (MS)

The next one was used the sketch of VSAPR2. This card was combined the challenge from There She Goes color challenge (TSGCC01) by Holly over Papercraft Planet. I hope you can play with us :)
The stamp set is called Tastes Like Chicken from There She Goes. It's the funniest set ever, lol!!
This image is my favorite one from the set. It's a kind of funny but I wanted to embellish the image with beautiful motif, lol.

Stamps: Tastes Like Chicken (TSG)
Paper: apricot appeal, sahara sand, SU retired dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (PTI), brads (Joann's)

Tools: decorative corner punch (EK Success), Nestabilities, piercing tool

Thank you for stopping by. I will come back for the rest of Verve's challenge later. See you then....

OCC Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone~
Sorry for MIA... I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and Easter Sunday :)
I had a great time with my family and friends at my place on Sunday although it was the busy weekend. The weather was not that great but we didn't change our plan whether rain or shine, lol. The egg hunting was postponed until the afternoon after the rain was stopped, but as soon as the hunting started, it started raining again!! We still kept hunting though, lol.

I enjoyed the Easter but it's glad to be back to stamp now. Today's card was used the sketch from OCC challenge. The stamp set is from Flourishes that I got it for my Birthday last month.
The image was colored with the reinkers and aquapainter. I stamped the florish image and added the colors on the main layer, and then I layered the rose image on the panel. And I layered the rose flower and the leaf again.

Stamps: I Love Roses, Ornamental Elements (Flourishes)
Paper: chocolate chip, Parisian Summer dp (SU), vintage cream (PTI), watercolor paper (Strathmore)
Ink: Black India ink (Superior), Distress dye ink - walnut stain, scattered straw (Ranger), reinkers - pink pirouette, pink passion, mellow moss, old olive, tempting turquoise (SU)
Accessories: ribbon (SU), Designer brads (JoAnn's), metal photocorner (WRMM)

Tools: Nestabilities, Sizzlit Lot of Tags (SU)

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Hello everyone~
This card was made with the sketch from SCS Sketch Challenge 223 (SC223). The set I used is the brand new set, Cupcake mix & match from There She Goes. I love the cute image and whimsical sentiment but I'm not loving what I did....I think I needed to use darker brown... what do you think? I will give another try with the different colors next time ;)

I paper pieced the cake wrapper and the rest of the image was colored with Copics. I added Stickles on the icing and the red button for the cherry.

There She Goesからの新しいセット、Cupcake mix & matchを使っています。

Stamps:Cupcake mix & match (TSG)
Paper: close to cocoa, cameo coral dp, ginger blossoms dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento rich cocoa (Tsukineko), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (SU), brads (JoAnn's), button (Making Memories), Stickles (Ranger)

Tools: Nestabilities, CB embossing folder

Thank you for stopping by. See you until next time.

CC213 -- Happy Spring

Hello everyone~
I'm trying to catch up what I've missed. This card was used the colors from SCS Color Combination challenge 213 (CC213). My daughter has the yellow shirt that looks similar to so saffron and it looks great on her, lol. That's why I picked the stamp from Whiff Of Joy for the image.

I colored the image with Copics. The sentiment is the one from TSG's Tweeterpated set. I know some areas still have snow on the ground. So, this card is perfect for them! But the area where I live is getting ready for summer already!! My DH has already started cleaning the swimming pool, lol although I still want to enjoy my favorite season of the year -- Spring ;)

Stamps: Willow with flower basket (Whiff Of Joy), Tweeterpated -sentiment (There She Goes)
Paper: so saffron, bashful blue, close to cocoa, Delicate Dots dp (SU), white cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (Tsukineko), close to cocoa (SU), Copic markers
Accessories: ribbon (SU), rhinestones

Tools: decorative corner punch (EK Success), piercing tool

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
